Twilight Sparkle's talent for magic is ever growing but when she starts learning long range teleportation she quickly finds that any slight error in direction can become great errors. Finding herself on the continent of Tamriel, a continent she didn't even know existed, she desperately tries to find a way back home. But between Tamriel's hostile climate and it's unique inhabitants seeming to relish in conflict fate itself seems to be acting against her.

note- This is a crossover fic with MLP and The Elder Scrolls that takes place between season 2 and season 3 of MLP and about 20 years before the events of Skyrim.
note- Much research has gone into this story to keep everything Elder Scrolls as accurate as humanly possible in it's portrayal. Every city, organization, and major event is established in Elder Scroll lore.
note- Despite the fact above, no knowledge of Elder Scrolls is required to understand what's happening in the story.

HIATUS: My first criticism inspired me to fix the utterly jumbled mess that is the first arc, because it was written with no effort to continuity, and the assumption that nobody would read it. There's a lot of new stuff that needs to be added to bridge the gaping holes everywhere, but it ain't dead. Not until I die, anyways.

A lot can happen in 20 years.

Ponies and places can change, but there are some things, like friendship, that may never change.

After encountering a new villain, Twilight wakes up 20 years in the future. Now facing a whole new set of problems and challenges, Twilight must join the fight for survival in a world gone insane.

Warning: This is not a story. It's a giant fight scene. It was never really meant to be a story, though some parts may make you want to get to know the characters more. If you like fight scenes though, have fun.

Every morning, just a few hours after having breakfast, Ace Blade trains. Every evening, just a few hours before bed, she trains again.

Being one of the best guards in Equestria, she's allowed to use the more expensive equipment; she's allowed to wear lightweight armour, carry bladed wings with shock absorbers, and use anti-magic crystals on her enemies. She also gets access to the magical training grounds, and oh man is it great.

By the way, you're free to watch. Just don't get in her way.

Before Equestria there was the Empire, ruled by a King and Queen who loved their ponies with all their hearts. The Crystal Heart was the Highest Law in the entire Kingdom, able to denounce any King or Queen and instate a new Prince or Princess who was more worthy of the throne. Very few ponies know the story behind the origins of the heart and, until Prince Sombra stumbles on a old fairytale, no one thinks it is really alive.

War. It has been going on for many years before I arrived. And it still seems to be going on as I speak. I tried, all my time here in this foreign land I've been told I was their last hope. The one who could end it all, free the ponies and save all the land. I was this... "Key." But I also heard among these legends, I could be their greatest threat.

Am I the their last hope? Or will I destroy this land like many have told me I would...
