A mother will do a lot for her child, even give them up if it meant them having a safer life growing up, despite the obvious pain that comes for the parent.

That pain is something Queen Chrysalis has gone through for eighteen years, but now the time is upon them, and she wants her daughter back. Even if that means invading Canterlot during a royal wedding.

During the Canterlot Changeling Invasion, Drone 1074 was on the front lines against the Canterlot Royal Guard when the love spell flung the Changeling forces from the pony capital. However, due to a series of odd and unexpected events, the lone drone finds himself in an unexplored and unknown land. Join him as he explores, trying to find love, shelter, and his hive. These are the journals entries and logs of Drone 1074, Also known as Iota, as he struggles to survive in this land seemingly without love.

This is a Minecraft crossover. I had this Idea when I was playing hardcore mode with several mods installed. Among them were the Mine little Pony mod. For whatever reason, I had a Book & Quill, and decided to role play as this changeling. This is what came to my mind when I started doing it, and I thought it would be a good story to write.

Novel Tale is an author that's been living in Canterlot for about ten years now. That's a pretty good track record for a changeling. He's even included a changeling character in his latest book, and his fans have been loving his take on such an obscure mythological creature, especially his biggest fan, Twilight Sparkle. Things are looking up!

Then an army of changelings from another hive attacks Canterlot.

Now all of ponykind knows that changelings are real, and his readers are sure to realize that the changeling in his book was too similar to the real thing to have just been based on a myth...

Months after Chrysalis's attack on Canterlot, Twilight and her friends are turned into changelings. And not just any changelings. Royal changelings. Royal changelings who've now inherited what's left of Chrysalis's swarm.

On a patrol through the White Tail woods, Twilight comes across a dying changeling. Torn between giving up the drone to the guards or leaving it in the inhospitable wilds, Twilight reluctantly takes the drone in. As it awakens she realises that the drone was a blank slate, with no connection, no 'programming' guiding its functions. So Twilight sets out to teach this changeling about the world, one hoof step at a time.

Rated Teen for slightly mature themes involving ethical dilemmas.
