Defiantly a interesting story, and it will be interesting to see how the girls will settle there new charges in Equestria. In a hidden hive? The open? And do Changeling Queens breed like bugs and Lau eggs? Wouldn't that screw with there heads.

The new queens and their hive only have until they are seen in public again to get acquainted with the new situation. Or the next disaster that threatens Equestria. Plus, I don't expect all the queens of the other changeling hives to just sit idlely by and allow six former ponies to rule another hive.
5837535 again when did she have time. She was likely in the hive after the wedding and the only time she would have an inkling of losing is the love sheild, again not really time or opprotunity for her to do it. Since not mentioned otherwise the events of the wedding happened exactly the same in both cannon and here so this is a major plot hole that has to be addressed. I'm still reading but I beg the author to addressed this plot hole.

How do you suggest I address this? Not to be rude, but I don't see how I can squeeze this in. Or even how. As far as I can see, the only one who'd know that kind of info is Chrysalis, and you already know she ain't going to be saying anything to anypony. But I will take your concerns into consideration and hopefully squeeze it in. If you have a suggestion then I wouldn't mind your input.
5837762 Slightly alter the events of the wedding. This is already AU, so if it was me, have it where instead of overpowering Celestia's blast have her roll then blast. And that encounter would scare her enough for the fall back.
Option B. the shield spell isn't what kills her. With her army all but destroyed would also drive her fear and having no royal daughters sneaks into Ponyville and casts on the ponies that nearly defeated her. Then have a hostile hive attack where she is mortally wounded thus leading to current events.
This story is quite interesting. I can not wait to read more.
Now to wait and see if they try to prove themselves or just fortify a position in Equestria and develop anti-changeling spells. I imagine seeing one army after another getting routed would be proof enough to leave them alone.
Celestia and Luna may have bought some time for the ponies of Equestria, but it will be a matter of time before the other changelings queens act. Kormac, and any other changelings that are able, better get the new queens knowledgeable with their new abilities, as well as changeling politics and history ASAP.
One very important question that does need to be answered is can they still use the Elements of Harmony? Once that is established, it will either be very easy, if they can, or very difficult, if they can't, to reveal them to the ponies of Equestria.

So far I'm liking what I'm reading. So far I can see Applejack being the most welcoming. Why? To her, family is extremely important. Once the shock wears off I can see her and the rest of the Apple clan welcoming her "new children" into the family with open hooves. I could be off on this but that's just my belief.
Did not see that last part coming, i like.
That press conference went about as I expected. I really liked the reactions and interactions with the new queens and their 'new subjects'.
