This story is a sequel to The Perfect Night Sky

(Chronologically, it is a prequel, but this is meant to be read after)

A socially awkward bookworm devoted to math and science. A carefree jester determined to prove her leader capabilities. When they took the challenge of becoming Princesses of Equestria everything in their lives changed forever. Did they changed in the inside too? What happened when the pressure of being rulers became too much? What went through their minds as they went through the hardest part of their lives?

An experimental writing that tries to look only inside the minds and through the eyes of the most powerful beings of Equestria as I guessed them from season 1 and 2. My imagining of the events that lead to Nightmare Moon's banishment, and a big sister's struggle to get her sibling back.

Rarity moves to Canterlot to pursue more clients for her business, leaving Sweetie Belle in charge of Carousel Boutique. When Rarity arrives, she is generously offered a stay at Canterlot Castle free of charge, courtesy of Princess Celestia. Is the keeper of the sun simply being generous to one of the Elements, or does she have an ulterior motive for the marshmallow unicorn?

When she catches a bad case of pegapox, Rainbow Dash cannot fly up to her cloud home. Grounded and quarantined in Ponyville, she is taken in by Rarity and Sweetie Belle, who vow to nurse her back to health. Can the pegasus survive her well-meaning caregivers long enough for Twilight to find a cure--and why is the weather turning so weird?

Twilight writes a letter to her parents, telling them about her great new friends and her wonderful new job!

For a thousand years, Princess Luna was erased from the history books. During that time, many things had changed, but none have affected Luna more so than the change in language. Even after many months of passing time, she wonders about language and words as she struggles to gain a better understanding of how to communicate with her fellow ponies.

For her entire life, Twilight Sparkle has looked up to Princess Celestia as a teacher, mentor, and role model. At no time was she forbidden from asking for advice when troubled by a problem. As she grows up, however, her problems grow far more complex, and far less scholarly, in nature. Will she still be able to seek her mentor's advice on more intimate matters? What sort of advice can an eternal princess offer a young mare?

Something very odd is happening to Sweetie Belle. First, her magic is powerful and uncontrollable all of a sudden. Second, old scars that disappeared years ago have come back. Third, her mane and tail are waving like the princesses' do. Confused, everypony goes to investigate. They may find that there's a lot more to this filly than they thought.
