The long awaited Lunar Eclipse arrives, and as the red moon shines down on Earth, an unsuspecting man is sent to Equestria. He's unconscious when he arrives, but when he wakes up, he meets a couple talking horses.

This shall be my first fanfiction. Not sure how I feel about this, but there you go!

Edit #???: Okay, so typing up wasn't completely random. Frankly, I was eagerly awaiting the Total Lunar Eclipse and just thinking about it inspired me to write this story.
Just wanted to get the first chapter down on the day of an actual Lunar Eclipse (first one in 2014 by the way). When I first started, I had no idea where I wanted to go with the story. Since then, I've developed quite a bit of the main plot..and a bunch of backstories/subplots. I don't have a lot of time to write, but I keep my ideas safely buried under the big oak tree in front of my childhood house. (So, just a disclaimer on haphazard updates. But while this is so, I don't intend to ever give up completing this story.)

Edit about cover image: One day, I'll get a better picture of a lunar eclipse (got a neat one of the partial solar eclipse!) For now the image is going to be a crappy lunar eclipse photo I took with a so-so camera back in 2009/2010.

I've been a Pokémon fan for a while now. And by how much I play it, you'd correctly guess that I was addicted to it.

But all that changed, as one night, while I was sleeping, someone decided I wasn't good enough in my world anymore, so they turned me into a fennekin, and then just dumped me out into a land of magical, talking ponies.

Perfect! (That's sarcastic, by the way.)

Ponies wonder why the forest feels so alive. They wonder what makes a wild manticore stop halfway from preying on an innocent young mare. They wonder who is watching them from the tree line, but never has any of these or similar questions been answered... Until a group of hiking companions cross a vicious beast.

Equestria finds itself once more host to a human. This one is named Artyom, and he's a long way from home. A very long way. But he seeks a new life here. And while his heroic actions should speak for themselves, he would never be self-confident enough to believe it.

Spoilers for Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. All knowledge and references come from the videogames, I will confess that I haven't gotten around to the book QUITE yet.

Jessica finds herself flung into a world she has little concept of. Everything is strange and new to her, but worst of all she cannot communicate with the native inhabitants. A world of monsters and sapient ponies, griffons and other assorted beasts is no place for a human girl.

How will Jessica cope? Without an understanding of their language how will she make her way in the world, will she even be able to ever communicate with them? Why was she even brought into the world and is there even a way for her to get home?
