Lyra and Bonbon are two normal happily married mares, except one isn't a mare but a shapeshifting hermaphroditic erovore whose mother just invaded Canterlot and the other is a highly unstable mare in heat with an absolutely brilliant plan.

Rainbow Dash, best pony, fastest flier in Equestria, all around awesome mare, was called upon to help with the wedding of her friend's big brother. And hey, she never leaves her friends hanging! Of course, when it turned out some kind of bug thing had replaced the bride, Rainbow was more then ready to fight. Heck, even after it seemed all hope was lost, the pegasus refused to give up.

So when she saw Shining Armor charge up a final spell, she smirked.

But when that spell reached her and flung her against the wall, her smirk devolved into shock...

Whorlygig isn't the most social of changelings, mostly because he's the only one in the entirety of the Crystal Empire. How do Shining Armor and Cadance turn him into a 'social butterfly'? Take him to a wedding in Ponyville, of course!

This is a reconnaissance report taken by Hunter23120, a fresh hatching with no field experience, after his attendance of cranky's wedding. This document is to remain public to ensure a situation such as this does not arise in the future.

If this feels rushed, it's because I wrote it in the hour and a half after the episode ended, hoping to be the first one to address the topic with a story. Then the finicky approval pipeline happened. But rather than complain about that, I'd like to take a moment to thank the story-approvers for the vital but inglorious work they do. They've had to trudge through 55 of my abominations, and anypony (or 'ling) who can survive that has my immense respect.
