After the invasion of Canterlot failed, the Changelings were given a strict rule by their Queen. No Changeling was ever, EVER, allowed to speak of that failure for as long as they lived, neither were they allowed to utter the name of the princess who defeated their Queen, lest they pay the penalty of Death.

One Changeling accidentally lets slip the name of the princess during a meal, and immediately Queen Chrysalis sentences him to die by stoning.

His execution doesn't go the way she had in mind, though...

This story based and inspired by one of my favorite scenes from Monty Python: Life of Brian.

One night in the changeling hive, a soldier attempts to sleep, and forget the failed Canterlot invasion. Something is intent on keeping him up.

Just a little something that I came up with, after thinking about changelings. I'm aware that this isn't a terribly original story idea, and if it seems too much like other stories I'll take it down. Also, this is my first-ish attempt at comedy. You've been warned.

You live a relatively normal life in the town of Colorado Springs, working up at the local Target and battling the ocasional bout of snow. However, all of that changes when Queen Chrysalis, a villain from a show you have base knowledge of thanks to the internet, winds up outside your apartment. What could possibly go wrong?

In short, Spike isn't having a great day. Because of the peril Spike will learn something about himself that will change everything.

Ever since the failed invasion of Canterlot the changelings have been desperate for love. Without it they fear that they may soon drop dead.

Chrysalis the queen of the changelings take notice of this situation and having longed for someone to call her own decides now might be the time to give the changelings a king.

She finds a worthy suitor in the form of King Sombra and sets to work on bringing him to the land of the changelings. Will Chrysalis actually be married this time? And more importantly will King Sombra say I do?
