Another short scene. This time the story focuses on Scootaloo as she comes to terms with the loss of her childhood idol, and remembers her own hardships through her younger years.

Twilight is called to the Dragon Realm which has been under attack from a mysterious group known only as the 'Heroes'.

Meanwhile, Spike is mistaken for being the Princess of the Realm, making it his job to keep the Realm in order and protect it from further attack.

Switchback has been living in Ponyville for about two years now and everything is great. He's able to discreetly feed without anypony knowing about it, except for Pinkie Pie of course. He still hasn't figured her out entirely, but she's kept his secret so that makes her a good friend in his book. So why would she invite him to come to a wedding without disguising himself?

Takes place during and right after the 100th episode: Slice of Life.

Most of us are shunned from their society, but there are a few stars in the night. Cranky Doodle Donkey is one of them. He saved my life, and now I wanted to support him at his happiest. Too bad that his wedding was in the center of ponyville.

If this feels rushed, it's because I wrote it in the hour and a half after the episode ended, hoping to be the first one to address the topic with a story. Then the finicky approval pipeline happened. But rather than complain about that, I'd like to take a moment to thank the story-approvers for the vital but inglorious work they do. They've had to trudge through 55 of my abominations, and anypony (or 'ling) who can survive that has my immense respect.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon are set to spend the weekend together, thanks to some bending of the truth when they told their parents where they'd be off to. The fun stuff they have planned can get started as soon as they find a neat new hiding spot that Diamond Tiara ran across her last time in the forest. But the cave isn't as easy to find as DT remembers, and a misstep in the forest can be disastrous if somepony isn't paying attention. What will Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon do when they get themselves into a mess there doesn't seem to be a way out of? And why does Diamond Tiara keep coming back to the same question over and over again?

so while enjoying a convention and exploring the city, I ended up in a bookstore and came across a book called “642 things to write about”. it was a book of prompts for you to go ahead and create stories with.

When I was looking through the prompts, a lot of them jumped out at me as good fimfic story starters. So I am just going to blow caution to the wind, do something I never do due to pure fear of judgement, and actually go ahead and post a fic. This will be a one shot fic, but it is going to be the longest one shot fic you will have probably seen. this fic is purely based off of the prompts that I choose.

I will not just leave myself to just what's in the book. you are free to suggest different prompts and I may choose one of those prompts instead (some of the book ones just don't work with me)

any similarities between this idea and what happens at any writers aid thing (does something like that exist?) are completely coincidental.

Living behind a mask is difficult enough. It becomes unbearable when the mask you wear becomes known for what you do best. Then the mask becomes a part of you, an inseparable part of you own being, one that looms over you even when it does not conceal you. This is the world that Scootaloo lives in every day. Every waking moment is a balancing act between her masked talent and her contrived personality.

This is the story of Swan's Mask.
