Luna has faced many challenges since her return as princess. Despite many being aware of her situation, the name "Nightmare Moon" always manages to rear it's ugly head and get her discriminated. The fear and hatred of others has become unbearable for the poor princess.

Join Luna on her quest as she learns to make friends, face her inner demons, and come to terms with her short comings. With the help of a familiar lavender pony, and someone not so familiar, Luna will come discover the magic of friendship and what lies beyond.

Discord has been defeated, and Twilight and her friends are eager to get back into the swing of everyday life. Shortly after the end of the victory ceremony in Canterlot, Celestia asks a favour of Twilight, to put Discord back where he belongs, and the ever-faithful student accepts.

By noon of the next day, however, Twilight has both a startling revelation, and a terrible new secret to keep. Otherwise, the last thing she sees may in fact be the statue garden.

Was it truly just jealousy that changed Luna into the cruel Nightmare Moon? How did a mad being like Discord become the ruler Equestria? Just what exactly are alicorns, and how did Celestia and Luna come to be? There are many answers the history books and the princesses have not mentioned, or have choose to keep secret...

With Twilight's spirit broken, Discord is ensured conquest of Equestria. Celestia is helpless to stop him, but part of her selfishly yearns for the romance they shared in her youth.

UPDATE: After being challenged by Godzillafan01 to write a positive Discolestia fic, I decided to add more chapters,

Celestia frees Discord from his statue prison, convinced that he is somehow behind Twilight Sparkle's grayed personality. Discord takes advantage of the situation to make the princess hate him, for reasons he hopes he'll never need to say.
