This story is a sequel to Spike's Mark

In “Spike’s Mark”, Spike confessed his love to Rarity and gave her a Mark of Love. It was supposed to be a ‘Happy Ending’. However, Rarity’s adventure was just beginning. Starting where Spike’s Mark left off comes the next chapter In Spike and Rarity’s relationship. A tale of romance, drama, and humor. One that will make you both laugh and cry just like its predecessor. It will most certainly have moments that touch your heart...I guarantee.

In this story, you will see most of the Mane 6 return as well as Sassy Saddles, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and a few other special side characters from the series. You will learn how Rarity’s family reacts to Rarity dating Spike. You will hear the tale of how the Carousel Boutique was first created. You will see special moments where sisters bond together…and playfully team up against a little dragon.

But the big question will be the ultimate choice Rarity must make.

Confronted with the fact that some ponies still fear dragons and the idea of a pony and dragon being together is considered ‘unnatural’, Rarity must choose which path to take. Finding the love she has searched for or fulfilling the dream she always desired. Can such a union truly exist or will Rarity lose her Spikey-Wikey?

Spoiler Alert if you have not read “Spike’s Mark”. Fortunately, you do not need to have to read “Spike’s Mark” to enjoy this story since all the side characters will be learning about the events as well.

In this story, you’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll ponder. You’ll ask why as Spike and company try to figure out the secrets of his origins. However, it is the love between Spike and Rarity that will provide the key to finding his parents. Spike X Rarity (Of course). Contains Romance, Drama, Mystery, and Humor.

Just being a friend is simple and safe, according Spike. He’s not cut out to be anything more than that: he isn’t the dashing hero that an amazing pony like Rarity expects and deserves. When a random act seemingly breaks their friendship, and when he’s given a chance to relive that moment in hopes of finding a way to fix it, he’ll discover just how complicated, and also how simple, his and Rarity’s relationship is.

It's Hearts and Hooves day and Spike has finally discovered the courage to ask Rarity to be his special somepony. How will it go? Will he be shot down like so many times before, or is something else brewing that even Spike couldn't have imagined?

Spike is a dragon who was raised by ponies. Rarity is one of the most successful fashionistas in all of Equestria. This is the story about how a certain drake won the heart of his special lady and the lives they build with each other. Many challenges await our intrepid heroes, from threats to Equestria to the matters of the heart.

(The story will mostly be Sparity, but like a newly opened harbor they'll be more ships in future. Would hate to make anyone feel left out.)

A slow-burn, ongoing piece of indeterminate length beginning a couple years after S9E25 that is going to end with a Sparity wedding and yes, that's a spoiler, but the journey's more important than the destination, am I right?! Rated T, just to be on the safe side; while there's no severe language or content this fanfic does deal with some slightly more mature themes than the show itself. Also the dragon and the unicorn are going to make out when the time is right, it is foreordained, by me. I fully intend to take my sweet time getting there though, fair warning.
