Twilight Sparkle discovers that she broke the rules of time and space, sending her niece back in time to save said niece from a horrible future. Now, Twilight Sparkle has to figure out what is going on, but the sudden appearance of her niece from the future causes no end of trouble, causing everything in the present that Twilight Sparkle knows and loves to fly apart.

Twilight Sparkle is hoping that she can put everything back together.

Twilight and her friends all get together for a sleepover, looking forward to some well deserved downtime. Discord arrives, standing outside in the rain, pleading for entrance and to come in out of the weather. Twilight Sparkle insists that this is a mares only sleepover, so Discord does the only thing he can do, doing the unthinkable to gain entry.

Once inside, Discord, now Eris, tries to bond with the mane six and learn the magic of friendship.

The Gala was fun. Sure, there was a cake to the face, her best dress ruined, an entire night that was brought to an end by a stampede of terrified animals, but it was at least fun.

Though, admittedly, nothing really quite worked out the way she'd hoped. But Rarity was a strong, capable woman- she could take all of this in stride and still be happy. Just... so much for love and romance.
