The Equestria Daily can exclusively report that newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle became embroiled in an argument with the Griffonstani trade minister about the inferior quality of griffon quills, alleging that "they just don't hold ink as well as pegasus quills". Import markets tumbled overnight, threatening the solvency of numerous Equestrian quill merchants. Princess Sparkle could not be reached for comment.

Centuries ago, Clover the Clever recorded in her personal diary the events surrounding the origins and early lives of Celestia and Luna. Now, thanks to the princesses' gracious consent and the scholarship of Twilight Sparkle, this account may now be read by modern Equestrians.

Twilight Sparkle isn't the first Element Bearer to have both wings and a horn to her name. Rarity knows this all too well, and it's something she thought she had gotten over a long time ago. However, in the wake of Twilight becoming an alicorn princess, Rarity can't help but remember a time when she herself could fly. Unlike Twilight, it wasn't her proudest moment. But if given the choice, would she take the wings again?

Twilight and Spike grew up and did everything together since forever. But following the events of Magical Mystery Cure, Twilight is now a princess. She grew up first. Spike realizes he needs to catch up, and so makes a choice to do the same.

All the while, there is a secret, one that involves Princess Celestia, our favorite little dragon, and a certain sense of heritage.

My name is Artemis, I was sworn in as Princess Celestia's personal guard quite some time ago. I've watched her for so many years and silently stood by her side during all the recent ups and downs of her reign. Now I'm going to tell her how I feel. Thanks to a booby trap (or an enchanted book, depending on which side of the looking glass you're on), Daring Do finds herself propelled out of the literary world and right into Rainbow Dash's room.
