When Princess Twilight Sparkle's years of research and study comes to its fruition, and a portal to another world is finally opened, a team of ponies is selected to go through. But as they go through, some strange creature comes through, and the exploration team finds itself trapped on an alien world that proves to be much more dangerous than they could have known.

In Equestria, Twilight now must find the way to reopen the portal, and to find out just what happened to the team she sent through. But how do you communicate with something that is completely foreign to you?

And others want to possess this creature as well. They feel that it could be the key to power. Power enough to take control of Equestria, as well as the world from which it came from.

Will Twilight be able to learn what she needs to learn to save her trapped friends, and keep this creature alive, so that it may return home?

Will she be able to bring the team back, or will they be doomed to die on a hostile world?

I am a United States Air Force fighter pilot. I'm supposed to be a fearless, balls to the wall man of unfathomable feats. But somehow, I was taken from my world during a simple, routine flight. Now that I'm stuck here, part of me wishes I could have done things differently... The other part wants to stay here in this peaceful land, surrounded by serenity. Only time will tell where my road leads. I just hope I can find a way to cope in the mean time.

Sharing a birthday with three of my closest friends? Great! Discovering that we've all acquired the cutie mark of relatively minor Wonderbolts? A little awkward. Actually becoming said Wonderbolts? Now that's just downright creepy. Laugh and cry with us as we try to make sense of the impossible and find a place in a world where ponies don't belong.

In a universe where humans are quite shocked to find ponies that speak languages at all, let alone English, the startling discoveries never seem to stop for the poor crew of the SMS Verreiter IV, an old-warship-turned-exploration-vessel hybrid that's certainly seen better days. Heck, some even speak of times that it had days where all the systems functioned properly for hours at a time.

Either way, they're on a mission of exploration, which means they'll be visiting every Old Earth-sized rock they can find. With a motley consignment composed of few jittery scientists, veteran marines, an exasperated captain, and a combat-hardened, battle-forged crew with absolutely nothing to do besides repair their own ship from itself, it seems like it'll be a very long year of exploration.

Then they find a planet with some rather startling similarities to human society.

Like Manehattan, the apparent parody of the American district, ponies having developed the English language, and the use of human-like tools and buildings.

And when the ship's transmitter fails at the worst possible moment, Forschungsschiff Kapitan Arnhem Zorner has to decide how best to introduce his country and humanity to these beings. Who can levitate books probably as easily as they could levitate knives and hurl them at him.

He doesn't know whether to laugh of cry at the situation that's been thrown at his face.

When Equestria accidentally opened a portal to another world, they discovered a new species: humans. Their arrival changed the world. For the Equestrian Ponies, it heralded a great cultural and technological jump needed from their stagnating way of life. For the Gryphons, however, they represented something baser: an opportunity to increase food stock and finally have a 'friendlier' predator species to ally themselves with.

For Gilda, one of the the humans was Ancestor-sent, a soul she would protect for bringing much joy to her life. And when a chain of events force her to accompany her human to Equestria, she recalls the circumstances of their meeting, the trials they pass through, the friendship forged through fire, and love born out of understanding under the harsh skies of the Kingdom.

Equestria is dying. A one in a lifetime quirk of astrological dimensional convergence has caused a unique fusion between Equestria and a world called Earth. With it will come the birth of a massive superplanet. But ponies will not survive the process. A proposal for the salvation of ponies has been put into effect. But can Equestrian society deal with the losses that come with salvation?

Only the Conversion Bureau holds the ultimate answer to that question.

First, bronies become characters from the show. I, along with most of the world, am not cut in for all this drama. Of course, I don't get to chose the fate behind who becomes ponies next. After a few self-injuries hoping to wake up followed by some screaming sessions, I'm now in the body of a pony who's ego challenges Rainbow Dash's (which, until now, I never thought possible). Now, I (am forced to) set off on a journey to New York while making new friends and whatnot...Yeah, I know. Nothing's that simple. It never is. You know those moments when you feel like the world is completely against you for the hell of it? Wake me up when luck runs in my favor.

Part of the PonyEarthverse. If you have not heard of the PonyEarthverse, I highly recommend looking into it before checking out my story. Remember, the events of the story take place BEFORE season 3. This is prior to 'Wonderbolt Academy'. The main character and everyone else will treat Lightning Dust as a background pony.

Never before in any documented finding has man seen another sapient species beyond himself. When the scouting crews from the U.E.G.S Clarke suddenly find that they are not truly alone in the universe, it will be time to put to the test the First Contact situation they had never prepared for.

While on deployment to the Arabian Sea, the crew of a Royal Australian Navy Destroyer begin to notice that one of their helicopter pilots is starting to develop some rather odd quirks, both mentally and physically.
