We've brought on another admin, who will be focused on organization and overall management. Please welcome Smiles!

In other news, I am looking at changing our rating system. Because our reviewers and members aren't always on skype, I feel that posting a forum post would get more input than direct messages or skype.

I am looking at making this a rating based group, out of necessity and in part due to the demand for guiding reviews that rarely seem to be received as detailed critiques but more as a general rating...

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused with what I'm supposed to do. I just really wanted to join cause I'm looking for a editor for my latest fic Equestrian's Crippled Daredevil since I can't edit for my life. (Getting a lot of misspelled comments or wrong words to use)

Ooooo, cool, looks like my story will be getting reviewed soon! :raritystarry:  Just a little heads up to whoever's reviewing "Batmare Begins"; two more chapters are incoming this Wednesday and Friday, respectively, both of which will be significant additions to the plot.  Just thought you'd like to know so that you don't get a review out before they're uploaded.  Hope whoever's reviewing likes my fic!

Here is the problem with liking MLP but not the friendship bit. (in my eyes)

The sappy friendship and emotional bit is the reason for the rest of the show. Think of the show like a book, the characters and the scenery are all there to show the point or the conclusion. In the end the characters could be anypony as long as they are still engaging and likable, but the idea of it being okay to be kind to people, honest, loyal, generous, and happy, is an idea that is rare in popular culture these days.

So when you watch MLP, remember that the sappy bits are good, they are showing you how to be a good friend and a good person, whereas a lot of the other shows out there only want to show you what explosions look like.

Hello.

I have a question, month and half ago I uploaded my story "Celestia's Tiny Student" to "main" folder.

Back than this story was featured, but also received huge number of comments that it have a lot of grammar mistakes, typos, to much explanations and exposition and so for.

After weeks of work, this story underwent a solid editing, and after yesterday big update, all chapters are finally edited and polished.

Right now it is in "Requested" folder.

And here is my question, what sort of action I should take with my story right now ( only the best of the best stories are featured again, and I do not know how to inform everyone that this story has improved ) ?

Do Ya'll do interviews in this group, because Lunatic Hell and I would be happy to do one for you all. I am working on a new story that I started shortly after Equestria Girls premiered. I had my notebook, pens and pencils with me the whole time I was up in D.C., and I started writing an anti- Equestria Girls story, based on a very popular grimdark tumbler blog called "Ask the Equinox Ponies." Thus the anthropomorphized, humanized, Equinox Ghouls was born. What possessed me to write such a  gruesome and ghastly story, it all began four years ago, in the haunted streets of Savannah, Georgia. There, I went and heard a writer, by the name of E.M. Turner, the southern equivalent of Edgar Allen Poe. Born in Opelika, Alabama, he attended Auburn University, and developed a love for writing and literature, especially the southern writers, and the Gothic tales. Dr. Turner was especially drawn to the tragic life of Edgar Allen Poe, and spent his doctorate at Georgia Tech, Clemson, Georgia, and later West Point,  where Poe himself attended, trying to reassemble Poe's life. He was intrigued, and saddened by how Edgar Allen Poe's life ended, and his father was an alcoholic, and Dr. Turner swore that he would never end up that way. I am also using the writing techniques of the horror master, Stephen King, and master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock.
