Several months ago, one of the Mirror Pool clones of Pinkie Pie hid away from the world, afraid of the consequences from being caught. Out of all the people to help her in her time of need, it ended up being the most boastful unicorn of all time. Before she knew it, the clone took on the form of Surprise, a white pegasus, and she ended up with a new place in the world...

Today, Surprise is having a wonderful life as the assistant to the greatest magician of all of Equestria, according to Trixie. She has a friend, she loves her job, nothing can go wrong, right? That was, until the day Trixie and Surprise come back to Ponyville. There, several events will happen that will leave Surprise questioning herself, her nature, and her friendship with Trixie...

When Trixie finds a magic mane pin that will make everypony love and adore her, she decides to use it to get revenge on the residents of Ponyville, one group in particular. But there are some things about friendship that she never expected...

Trixie has been best friends with Starlight Glimmer for months now, and the bond between them has never been stronger. But, after a bull-headed mistake and lack of critical thinking, Trixie manages to leave Starlight Glimmer angry and disappointed. Again.

Over the course of a single day, Trixie takes the steps to make things right between the two of them and, in doing so, instantly discovers some feelings inside of her that she never thought possible. Her best friend was kind, sweet, and yes, very hot. And now she was in love with her.

Starlight Glimmer of the human world had a chance encounter with Trixie's magic shows. She thought the magician was pretty cute...cue asking her friends about her. Luckily Sunset and the others know her. Not...exactly well, but enough to guide her along.

There are sad bits, but there's lots more fluff than sad.

An innocuous trip into the Everfree Forest for Twilight Sparkle quickly turns into much more, leaving our heroine caught between bloodthirsty monsters, an ancient conspiracy of evil, straining friendships, and the maddening effects of a certain blue unicorn...

Trixie has returned to the only life she hasn't failed at, rock farming. When her old rival comes to help her make amends, she's thrust into an adventure she doesn't want to be on, but it may be what she needs to reclaim her confidence as the Great and Powerful Trixie she once was.

Love is never easy, even for a royal alicorn princess. Especially when the love of her life is a former rival who refuses to return her feelings.

Fortunately she has friends to back her up and help her thaw her beloved magician's heart. Manehattan will never be the same.

Trixie has been down on her luck ever since she used the Alicorn Amulet. Considered by many as a laughing stock and a monster, her career as a showmare has been ruined, making her became poor and depressed. But through some unfortunate events, she ended up back in Ponyville where she's forced to stay with her self-proclaimed sworn enemy; Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight is actually happy to have her living with her. Then why does Trixie hate her? And why is she blaming Twilight for her misfortunes?

Trixie has returned with the Alicorn Amulet, enslaving the town's populace to work on a strange network of tunnels beneath Ponyville. With the Elements of Harmony captured, a small, unlikely group of heroes will rise. But is everything all that it seems here? Or does the magician have even more tricks up her sleeves than anypony can guess?

Authors note: In case you didn't figure it out from that last sentence, there's a few twists near the end that might surprise you. So for God's sake, don't dislike because you don't like evil Trixie stories. If you're gonna dislike, please post a reason. I'm sorry for ranting like this, but that's exactly what happened last time I tried to post this story, so I have it up on my DA now as well.

Set in the same universe as my other fic, "The Chronicles of Swarm," though reading that isn't necessary for this.
