Rarity doesn't like dirt, she doesn't like dust. Grime and filth are a big no-no. And when it comes to mud, Rarity is usually seen moving at a full gallop in the opposite direction. So just how did she get herself into that muddy pit during the Sisterhooves Social?

Octavia is sick of playing under-appreciated classical music to crowds of only a few dozen, so she switches up her format to become a top-40 pop musician and appeal to the masses.

Twilight is a studious unicorn, but one day every year, she takes a break from all of that. On her birthday, she gets to spend time with her family. Every year, she gets a very special gift from her mother.

For Celestia, living forever isn't her curse. If immortality only include eternal life, she could handle that. What she can't deal with are the memories, or lack thereof. When her past escapes her day by day as the centuries progress, what will she have left?

She makes her way to her one safe haven in town, Sugarcube Corner, to find some solace in a certain treat. But after getting some crushing news, its up to a certain baby dragon to help her through the day.

The longest walk she'll ever take.

The graffiti did not bother her. The art of vandalism was, in some form or another, as old as civilization itself. The content, on the other hoof, was an entirely different issue. “Princest Is Wincest,” it said. Bad grammar and spelling were one thing, but this was an attack on the Equestrian language.

Luna frowned. She would have to ask Celestia about this at the first opportunity. Perhaps there were spare funds for a literacy program. If nothing else, Tia might be able to explain what exactly the phrase meant.

Celestia feels nothing but pride and love for her student, friend, and lover. However, a secret remains hidden in her heart, hidden from herself. Why did she choose Twilight, of all ponies, to be her student?

After being banished from Equestria following her failed attempt to overtake Canterlot, and eventually Equestria, Chrysalis was thrown far away into the southern lands of Equestria, a dark, bleak place with no living souls about. As she lay on the ground, willing to let her meager existence come to an end, green embers, the faded lives of her changelings, begin to fall from the air. One in particular falls where her eyes rest, and something inside of her stirs. As she stares at the fading ember, she thinks to the failed attempt, to the love that overpowered her.

In her chest, a feeling she hadn't had the ability to feel before comes forth, bringing a sense of euphoria to her. As a smile comes over her face, she thinks two simple words.

"Love...? Ridiculous..."
