Yes, he was a brony, yes he enjoyed reading fanfictions, including ones where humans got sent to Equestria, sometimes turning into ponies in the process.

Yet, his normal-great life would not last forever. It all started when— *record screeching sound*

Anyway, as I was meant to be saying, It all started when I woke up as Apple Bloom.

As me and my family struggle to understand what's going on and move on with our new lives, I find myself somehow in Equestria and what's worse, there's already an Apple Bloom here! How am I possibly gonna get outta this?! Why ME?

this is a fic i was inspired to write after reading Becoming Sweetie Belle by Sparknanator.

Now, your first thoughts are probably going to be, this is basically the same story, but with Apple Bloom instead of Sweetie Belle.

well, while that is slightly true, i am going to be doing my best to make this as different from Becoming Sweetie Belle as I can, for I do not want to be seen as a plagiarist, for that is not my intention.

Apple Bloom grew up without any parents, due to both of them dying before she got to know them. Despite that she grew up happy with the family she had left. She and Diamond Tiara had very different upbringings, though their family had been friends for a few generations before them. What is it that has caused this divide between the formerly friendly families, and can it ever be patched up? Talking with Applejack, who has a few of her own skeletons from the past to bury, she begins to see why she and Diamond Tiara can't get along, and vows to help things change. But even if she gives her rival a chance, will Diamond Tiara accept it?

Okay, so this is my take 2 to an idea i had years ago and would NOT stay quiet in my head. The first draft, if anyone ever saw it, was terrible. This is by no means perfect, but it's infinity better then it was. This is chapter 1 of god knows how many, so hopefully I'll get another one up in a week or so. If not, well, no harm done I guess.

Ten years has changed everyone in ponyville, none more so then it's Children. Scootaloo has become the local legend, a dynamic stunts men with an attitude to rival those of her idol, and Applebloom keeps herself nice and busy with a booming business in construction and repair. Sweetie Belle is just getting her feet wet in her career, and none have taken greater strides then Diamond Tiara.
the old school bully has become wealthy and successful, just as anyone would have expected her to. But her treatment of others has not been forgotten, and so the young heir to the rich empire, is walled from any friend she could have had. This story is about tearing down walls, with the help of one short little mare, maybe the little princess won't be so lonely anymore.
now if only she could work on her attitude.

Twilight and her friends struggle to adapt to their new roles as extremely public heroes of Equestria, but unwittingly set in motion events that bring back Celestia and Luna's most ancient foe.

This story began as a simple pony-based retelling of The Lord of the Rings, but is now something entirely different. Starting with the end of Season 4, this story aims to continue from there in novelized form, as opposed to a series of episodes. (As a result, I've marked it with Alternate Universe: while I think it's compatible with canon so far, it certainly won't be after season 5 starts.)

I do like the slow burn, so it might take a bit to justify its tags, but I've based them on the story as a whole. Dark for honest depictions of warfare. No sex tag, but there may be some passing mention of sexuality in keeping with the Teen rating.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have dealt with their fair share of pranks, both giving and receiving. It's fun to dish out the pranks and receiving them can be taken in stride. There are times when pranks can go too far on the receiving end however.

Diamond Tiara reflects back on her short but happy marriage to Silver Spoon. Both ponies have had hardships to endure to get this far, and some regrets over how they treated others in the past, but their lives as adults are not the same from how they were in the past. Yet in some cases, the past cannot be ignored. Or set right again.

Ponies move on.....from place to place, from childhood likes and dislikes.

But friends, you never really move on from them.

Silver Spoon has moved away, so many times, that those ponies she met, in each place, are almost an after thought. But to one pony in particular, Diamond Tiara, she still remains the most important pony in her life. Because, without her, she still would be the lonely brat she was.

It was supposed to just be a simple prank. She never meant for anyone to get hurt. Now she must face her crime. At least Diamond Tiara has her journal and best friend to help her handle lowering herself like this.

Diamond Tiara hates Nyx, this isn't exactly news. However, during a class fieldtrip Nyx finally asks why, and she may not like what she hears.

It was supposed to be a formal visit. The Princesses would come, say somethings, and leave. But during Celestia's speech, somepony turned Luna into a target. Before the Princesses could even blink the guards had tackled a pony in the crowds, and a stallion lay dying at Luna's hooves, whispering his last words into his young daughters ear. Then His last breath escaped him, leaving his daughter to cry over his broken body, leaving her alone in a cruel world. And Luna feels responsible.

What happens next? Only time will tell. But I can tell you, that both their lives, will be affected greatly.
