Everypony has secrets. Dinky will soon reach the age of curiosity, and there is one question her mother can never answer honestly: Who is her father?

Ditzy can never tell her the truth. Not to deliberately withhold the information and leave her in the dark, but simply to protect her from the horrors of the past.

This is the story of a very ordinary pony's extraordinary day. Carrot Top and Derpy are good friends indeed, and sometimes friendship can lead to wonderful surprises. It can also lead to arguments, frustration, and general grumpiness, of course, and this story has all of those things as well. But mostly, this is a story about the day Carrot Top learned how to fly.

But the holidays mean different things for different ponies, and some don't necessarily celebrate Hearth's Warming as Applejack does.

But it may be that there's still a way she can brighten up their holidays.

After her sand palace is washed away by the ocean, Dinky Hooves takes it upon herself to do something that should have been done centuries ago: destroy the moon.
