After being ditched by Rarity, Applejack finds herself on a train to Canterlot for a fashion show. The train was just under a tunnel when there was a crash. Now Applejack is stuck on a train with no way out with a stallion she wished wasn't there.

Applejack claims that she cries on the inside, but Rainbow Dash remembers that wasn't always the case. Believing her friend has an actual need to cry buried away in her even tempered heart she goes to Twilight Sparkle for help in seeing if this is true.

Rainbow Dash had never forgiven the ShadowBolts for trying to take her away, so when she discovers that they where spotted over Ponyville, she tells all her friends to inform her of any news. Applejack would do anything to help her fellow Element Bearer, but life becomes difficult for her when she is forced to lie to her best friend to protect an injured ShadowBolt member. How will Applejack protect her little white lie? And will this lie destroy Applejack's honesty?

Apple Jack wakes up to an odd feeling. Something is wrong. The air feels thick with malice. She tries to figure it out when the magical map calls her and pony pals for another friendship mission. The mission that map has in mind is very personal for Apple Jack. Something precious to her was stolen. She has to get them back. By any means necessary.

Twilight, being the foremost expert on magic, is no stranger to getting oddities to research and figure out for schools and companies.

But when she gets a device meant to help pegasus and unicorn ponies find prime places to plant and farm, she finds something she wasn't quite expecting.

Maybe it has to do with a familiar trio of apples serving as a company logo...

Applejacks parents never had time to play with her as a filly so she ended up spending a lot of time by herself. As a result she starts playing games with her imaginary friend "Mr. Tall."
