This was great. It was a nice, short little snippet of Rainbow Dash and Applejack negotiating their relationship. Rainbow and AJ both felt like themselves, and their dialogue flowed smoothly. I'm finding myself growing more and more fond of stories that explore the relationship after the get-together, and this story definitely satisfies.

I do feel that the AppleDash shipping was a bit unnecessary, and would suggest you use the romance tag if you are writing stuff like kissing etc. into a story. This could have been easily made into a story about friendship and how different ponies can like different things.
Those are minor things though. You write an amazing (pun intended) Rainbow Dash, capturing both her dialogue and feel perfectly. Applejack preferring more drama and slice of life stories than adventure is really fitting of her as well. Whether fillyfriends or not, AJ and Raibow Dash play off of each other so well.

I made it romance because I felt like it offered more reason for Rainbow Dash to be specifically concerned about Applejack not liking the same things she does. I'm not sure she'd feel all that betrayed if Rarity or Fluttershy didn't like Daring Do, they already like a lot of things she thinks of as 'lame.' But if she had a different kind of connection to AJ based on seeing them as having a lot in common it might shake her up a bit more. But I appreciate the thought, and I'll consider it in the future.
