Changelings.

To most, they are the creatures that almost took Canterlot, shapeshifters able to feed on the emotions of those around them.
While this is true, it is not all there is to the story.

When the Great War began, an alliance was struck between Princesses Celestia and Luna, of Equestria, and Queen Chrysalis, of the Changelings.
The changelings, natural infiltrators since birth, would become spies for Equestria. In return, they would no longer be hunted, permitted to continue feeding as they had for countless years before their failed invasion, provided they not engage in acts harmful to the equine government or population at large.

Of course, that was simply the beginning. As the war began to escalate, Stable-Tec, the company responsible for the life-saving Stables, recieved a request from parties that would, as part of the contract, remain anonymous and unnamed.
They were asked to create something new, something that would allow both changelings and ponies to survive, and promote harmony between the races.

Project HIVE

Tiberium. The infamous green crystal that destroys entire worlds in its wake of global proliferation. It has been a little over a century since the Tiberium threat was first wiped out on Earth, and with it, the primary vestiges of the Brotherhood of Nod. When the GDI advanced humanity to the stars, they found that Earth had not been the only target of the alien Scrin: dozens of other worlds had already been claimed by Tiberium, and the Scrin returned in full force, attacking human colonies across space, stopping human expansion. To fight back, the GDI undergoes a reformation to become the Interstellar Defense Intiative (ISDI) and enacts the Hallman Directive, designed to stop Tiberium spread wherever it may be; such a protocol brings the reincarnated ITC Methuselah to a planet being ravaged by the green crystal, and the forces under Commander Martin Alexandra deploy to stop the threat.

This story is a sequel to Proud Mother of a... Changeling?

After Twilight receives a letter saying that Queen Chrysalis is the guest of honor in the Crystal Empire's First Grand Banquet, she becomes suspicious and attends in order to thwart any plans the changelings may be hatching.

Ever since the Canterlot Wedding Incident the public fear of changelings have sky rocketed. People are terrified of the idea that foes and emotional vampires walk amongst us and why wouldn't they be? Your best friend, your lover...Even your adopted sister could all be changelings! But friends, I am her to teach you that these creatures are surprisingly similar to ourselves. they have the same wants, the same needs and most importantly, the same flaws. This book is but a quick look at the changelings as a whole separated into each major hive. For those who find the mystery attractive, this will answer many of your questions. For those who fear them, this will allow you to identify different changelings and what risk they are to yourself and family.

(In time I will add the hives created by Carnifex. though I have asked for his permission and he has accepted, and while the general idea and descriptions are all his, history, religion and relationships are all made by me. All hives can be used in your own fanfics, though claiming the hives themselves are your creations will not do, and while not needed, a little mention on where the hives came from would be nice.)

Midnight Storm has had a hard life. She's wandered from city to city for the past three years, and they've all eventually run her out after they've found out what she is. Against her better judgement, she's placed her last hopes on the small town of Ponyville.

The residents here are nice enough, but when they find out what she really is, will they accept her, or drive her out like all the others? And when Celestia finds out about her, what plans does the Princess of the Sun have in store for the mare?

After the events of The Shadow of the Mare, Loop D'Loop takes up the cape and cowl of Mare Do Well in a bid to get more love and affection from the ponies around her. But a few careless mistakes lead to events spiraling out of control, and it's only a matter of time before she's revealed as the changeling she really is.

Tutoring is something not many were born to do. I certainly wasn't. Having been a premier magician that performed in the great halls of Manehatten, imagine my surprise when the King and Queen of Equestria approached me with a job opportunity I couldn't refuse, and had no real reason to deny.

Of course, the job was to tutor their two lovely daughters Celestia and Luna, and even though the King and Queen told me they'd be a hoofful to handle, I was certain I could keep them in line.

And you wouldn't believe how wrong I was.

She knows nothing of human customs but speaks English very well and she's apparently well educated although in what could only be called esoteric knowledge.

She also claims to be a pony. But nobody ever said that relationships were easy.

Ditzy Doo struggles to earn a living and find a place to call home. But when she runs into trouble in Manehattan, and she chooses to leave, is it because she is running from her troubles, or is she chasing her dream?

After the train wreck incident, both Fluttershy and Big Macintosh have developed a strong interest in each other. The problem is, they are both extremely shy ponies who barely speak out about anything. Two months have gone by and neither have been able to act on their feelings despite it being on their minds day in and day out. Is it possible for a relationship, or even just friendship to bloom if the two ponies in question are nearly incapable of voicing their thoughts and feelings?

A story of finding the courage to face your fears and make sacrifices for those you love. It's not important that you SAY how much you care. It's important that you SHOW how much you care.
