A two part story.

Twilight goes on a trip to memory lane with Rainbow. A one shot written at 3:00 in the morning.

Rainbow has had a small crush on Twilight for a while now, and accepts that they will never be together. But when she helps out her friend in an embarrassing circumstance, Twilight makes the first move.

Today's the day! Twilight is finally going to tell Rainbow Dash how she feels, and it couldn't be a better day for it! But there's still plenty that could go wrong, including Rainbow saying no. Needless to say, things go wrong in a way neither of them could have imagined, and Twilight's day goes from bad to worse...

This is more or less just setup for the sequel, and the sequel is much better than this.

Twilight demands a rematch against Rainbow Dash swearing she's better at soccer than she was before. The game eventually turns into a soccer lesson, which would be fine if only she could actually focus on the actual lesson and not on the body of her instructor.

After a long day, it's time for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to head home from their club house. Rainbow Dash has come to take Scootaloo home. Rainbow Dash has some things to discuss with the little filly.
