With the Helping Hooves Concert in their rearview, Applejack and Coloratura decide to catch up a bit before she has to leave. Before either can move on, though, some feelings need to be put out in the open.

Starlight Glimmer has gone back in time. Each time Twilight tries to stop Starlight, she fails and is flung back through the portal and into a broken, twisted Equestria, ravaged by wars or monsters, each version worse than the one before, barreling toward the destruction of the world. Until she lands in a version of Equestria that ... isn't worse. It seems unchanged, happy, normal. The only real difference she can find on the cutie map is that her castle isn't there ...

... but the library still is.

Some secrets need to be kept, and others need to be set free; but sometimes, not even the Element of Honesty can tell the difference. How do you tell your family the truth about something that you can't even admit to yourself? When Applejack begins to realize that she may have feelings for a friend, she needs to find the courage to accept who she really is before she can truly be happy.

A collection of unconnected scenes and short stories I've written that I didn't want to publish on their own for various reasons. Genre and character tags are listed at the top of each chapter.

They smell strongly of apples, but there's some other stuff in there too.

The spell didn't completely remove Discord's influence, and Applejack and Rarity know this better than anypony. Months on, they're still having difficulty; a perfect record is difficult to return to after you've tasted corruption.
They do, however, have each other.
Contains some darkness, and some fluff. More fluff than darkness, I suppose.

Applejack has always had a secret dream, one that some ponies would find strange for the tomboyish farmer. She's always wanted somepony to treat her to a special romantic night, while being treated like a real lady. Turns out all she had to do was have a certain rainbow-maned pegasus catch her in a dress. Such an awkward moment will lead them to a night neither will ever forget.

Applejack is a hard-working earth pony. Luna is the princess of the night. It started out as a chance meeting late at night in the orchards of Sweet Apple Acres, but it ended up as so much more.

Eventually, anyway.

I think this comment is to blame for this story.

After coming to live in Ponyville and discovering the joy of having friends, Twilight found a new appreciation for Hearth's Warming and its story about companionship keeping the cold at bay. It would come as a surprise to her to learn that anypony could think she's forgotten the spirit of Hearth's Warming, but the new Princess of Friendship has a habit of sometimes missing details, even when they're right under her snout.

On Hearth's Warming Eve, Twilight is visited by three ghosts who take her on a journey across time to show her what she's almost missed.
