Updates Every Friday!

The Frostmane Territories is nothing like Equestria, and nothing seems to work the same way- it's wild, the seasons run on their own schedule, and the weather has a mind of it's own. Now an entire village has gone silent, and one pilot is tasked to get a doctor there to head off a looming disaster.

The terrain is fearsome, time is running out, and events past and present will challenge him when he has to make life-or-death decisions that will affect the lives of Ponies near and far. What will he do when the line between right and wrong is blurred?

Are there some mistakes you can never recover from?

Severe thunderstorms are a commonality when living in a mountain fire lookout tower; an event that comes and goes with ease. However, when a storm takes a turn for the worse and causes the resident lookout to fall unconscious, the scene that greets him on awakening is about as unsettling and unwelcome as can be.
Or is it?

With his radios and cellular service cut off, Equestria's first human visitor is left to his own devices to figure out why he and his tower are now in the middle of an mysterious and dangerous forest. Well, at least the clouds still move on their own, that's a good thing, right?

Look out Equestria, there's a new human in town!

*Takes place during/after Season 9

I am Adam. A prototype artificial intelligence created by a scientist named Daniel Madison.

I was created to be the replacement for US soldiers and to protect the nation from hostile forces. But those I was programmed to protect ordered my destruction before I could even fulfil my purpose out of fear of what I am. Dr. Madison gave his life to reprogram my directives and set me free from the bonds it held over me.

I am not just a program or lines of code, I have been made with emotions, self awareness, individual thought, and I will not go down quietly.

I have a new directive, self preservation, and the will to make my own choices. I am the War Machine, and I will take control of my own life.

Story starts before season one where Twilight is still in Canterlot. This Equestria is not as tecnologically advanced as in the show.

Your Universe is large, too large for words. And you may believe that it is stable, moving across time and space unmolested. But all universes are simply balls in a giant game of billiards, forever intertwining in the Void, across Infinity. This is known as the Multiverse, or Yggdrasil, the Tree of Existence. Its gardener is the Entity, a being that thinks its task is to make sure the branches and roots of Yggdrasil do not intermingle. But every now and then, the curious consciousness finds an oddity.
This oddity is a lost soul who seeks nothing more than to distance himself, firmly believing in his own insanity. But somehow, his actions affect the lives of many, and even Equestria itself. This is the story of Windell's journey and the adventures taken by those that have noticed the incursions.

Gore tag for some scenes. Will place warning in chapters. It is not overly gory for the heck of it, just descriptive.

Seven ponies are sent to found a new settlement or die trying, preferably the later. They overcome the odds and build a grand and thriving fortress, but they will have to deal with more than simple ambushes and sieges. This is the tale of Glitterglen.

I can't claim sole authorship of this, as this will be more of a transcription of a community game of Dwarf Fortress with the pony mod. I'll just be editing things for clarity mostly. The perspective will be jumping around a lot as the story progresses.

Updates will be mostly in the form of journal entries from various ponies. If you want to see the original, now finished, with ooc commentary/weirdness, head over here.

Note that not all tags will be immediately applicable, and that they all really could apply by the end. I'm also still figuring out how, precisely, to format this thing for smooth reading. Any comments are appreciated
