Cozy's plan to infiltrate Twilight's School of Friendship is going well, but the manipulative little filly knows that she'll need to up her game if she's truly going to be part of the inner circle here. Her solution? Try and get a little bit closer to Twilight's number one assistant.

Gallus falls into a depression during the holiday season, as shown by his past actions. This year, Headmare Twilight takes matters into her own hooves and decides to take Gallus to his homeland to celebrate his native holiday for the first time. However, when they get there, he is confronted by his worst enemy.

Once-Queen Chrysalis has had her schemes blow up in her face yet again. Naively, she thought, this time would be different. Take their power for her own, and it would be a simple matter to enact her revenge. She did not expect to end her scheme crippled, starving, and in the hooves of the pests that ruined her life.

Twilight and her friends have had a rough day. An argument during their trip through the woods nearly had them at each others throats, but they pulled through together and laughed about it in the end. They didn't expect to end their day with them taking one of the greatest threats to Equestria into custody. And Twilight certainly didn't expect herself to be extending her hoof to another poor, lost soul, trying to help them find their way.

After the young six learn that Cozy Glow has written to Tirek they put a stop to it and go to their professors about the issue. The professors now have to try to figure out a solution to their newfound problem.

How would that story go? Would Cozy truly change her ways or will she still try to gain power to be the most adored empress in all the land? Will the young six or the CMC be able to convince her that her skills lie elsewhere? Only time will tell.

Unsettled by the events involving Cozy Glow, Chancellor Neighsay finds his finely honed blade of critique pointed at a new target: himself.
