Schadenfreude has always played by the Rules of the Game. Break a rule on the list? Get a punishment. Break four? Well.

Twilight Sparkle, on the other hand, was new to the Game, although familiar with the players. Which she really should have thought about when she tricked Schadenfreude into violating multiple rules on the list at once.

So for Schadenfreude, it was a month of community service. For Twilight Sparkle? A trial by fire of working side by side with her new employee.

I'm Griffin, not much else to it. I've been bullied most of my life, which left me bitter and sarcastic. I'm a closet brony. What? You think I'm just gonna go out and tell a world that hates me that I watch a cartoon intended for little girls? I don't feel like giving the punks at school any more ammo. That's when cosmic powers decide I need to take a trip to my favorite fantasy land. But all is not sunshine and rainbows and it certainly won't be after I'm done with it. Equestria from the point of view of an extremely pissed off teenager, with a twist. So, here I am. Settling down in equestria, A place I can finally call home. Remember my last journal? Yes? Then you know Thorax, right? Well he turned out to be one of my best friends in that time period. At first, I trusted him as far as I could throw him, which probably would be kinda far, but I never tried. Now it's nice to have a friend who you can talk to without having to worry about him bitting your head off..

Well shit just got real again. After news comes to the Empire that there might be changelings like Thorax in the Everfree, Shingning, Me, and Thorax (after some presution) and some guards go out to see if it's true.

As you can guess, shit gets real. Real fast.

And now I'm lost in the damned Everfree. Again. With nothing but my rifle and pick.

Rainbow Dash's morning was pretty much ruined.
She tripped getting out of bed and landed flat on her face, giving herself an aching muzzle.
She forgot to buy her favorite brand of hay flakes at the store yesterday and had to eat plain toast for breakfast.
She found out she had to pull double-duty today and tomorrow on the weather patrol.
Oh, and she found a nearly-dead foal, broken and bleeding at the edge of Ponyville.

The rest of her day became a whirlpool of stress and worry but the colt woke up, thank Celestia.
Something's not right, though. Nopony can find his parents, he's not in the registers, and there's an unsettling look in his eye...
