Twilight Sparkle goes into the Human World, but regret it. Now she tries go back with help.
Twilight gets curious after hearing a tale about another world inhabited by humans. Twilight wishes to go to the human world. However, her wish becomes something she'll soon regret. Now she is permanently trapped in the Human world unless she finds help. At the moment, she begins to make life the new world as a human.

In Equestria, there's a purple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle. She was a really studious and loved to read books in any chance she gets. Her friends see her as the smartest of the group, with a huge grip on magic to boot.
Twilight, one day, went to Canterlot for a walk and overhears a story about a hidden realm. A realm of humans, different kind of beasts. She was skeptic, but also intrigued about the story that she kept listening. After listening to the story, she went back to her house and wrote down everything she heard. She would write down what humans loved, ate, hated, anything that fed her curiosity. One day, when she went to Canterlot to hear of anymore stories about humans, she had heard there was a book on how to contact a human.
Twilight had high hopes of this book and began searching for the book. Searching far and wide, she looked, and looked, and looked. After a while, her hopes soon depleted and she became suspicious if these humans actually exist, nor the book. Twilight decided to just do things her way and wished to be in the Human world. Unfortunately, the wish backfires and something different comes into play. This is pretty much where the story begins and the author doesn't say much.
In the Human World, as she is being transported there, she felt something strange happen to her. She started to go numb and become sleepy; not knowing what'll happen next. As she began to fall asleep, her horn began to dissipate slowly and her body started to have a human body structure. Twilight then arrived at the human world, unknowingly injuring herself in the process.
"Hey," A voice said. "Hey! Wake up!"
"Is she okay?" Another voice added. "Come on, get her awake."
Twilight opens her eyes to see herself in a hospital room in a bed, with an injured leg and arm. She begins to see the new world around her and take note of it. She felt excited--like she's been waiting for this her whole life--but scared at the same time. But she's more excited to see humans more than scared.
A woman with a white lab coat entered the room. She had a clipboard and a happy face on her person, like she witnessed a birth of a child. She had a name tag with that said, "Hello, My name is", but she didn't write her name in the empty space. Anyway, the doctor began to look at the now humanized Twilight and opened her mouth to speak.
"Hello, my name is Deborah, are you okay?" The Doctor asked, "You hit your leg and arm really hard, do you remember what happened? What's your name?"
Twilight began to stare at her like the doctor was acting dumb.
"Hi, my name is...Twilight" She said, "What happened to me? How did I get here?"
Deborah looked at her funny. "Twilight? That's a cute name. Anyway, your here because your friends dropped you here. You were found in the street lying down in really bad shape. "
Twilight began tried to remember what had happened to her, unfortunately nothing. She couldn't remember a single thing after she had made that wish. She then proceeded to ask Deborah if she can see her friends, she agreed. As Deborah left the room, her 'friends' came into the room.
Three teenage boys and a girl came inside the room, approaching the hospital bed. The boys look at each other, then to the girl, then Twilight.
Twilight began to speak, "Hello, are you....the people who saved me?"
"Of course we did, we had to help." The girl said, "You were badly injured from that fall. Why'd you jump?"
"May, isn't it rude to ask something like that?" One of the boys asked the girl.
"I'm sorry, that's rude of me," May said. "My name is May, as you already know. These guys are my drivers."
None of the boys reacted to what she had said about them. She began to add the names of the three "drivers".
"On the far left over there, that's Kevin. He's big--"
"Hey!" Kevin interrupted.
She continues, "And a funny guy, but however, he's been upset lately. His girlfriend disappeared and no one has found her, this was five hours ago. That guy over by the door, smoking a cigarette, his name is Jon, but we call him Seamus."
"Why do you call him Seamus?" Twilight asked.
"Ask Kevin--"
"Yo!" Kevin interrupted again.
"He knows why, pretty funny if you ask me." She continues, "Now finally, there's Phil. He's that guy over there by the windows. Not much you need to know, but he plays drums"
"Learning..." Phil added
"Whatever" May argued.
Kevin approaches Twilight, bringing a stool for him to sit on. Examining Twilight, like she is a wild creature.
"What's your name?" He asked.
[Oh no, should I tell them my name? What if they react badly to it? Oh well, I'll try.]
"Twilight, fellow human." She said.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you, sorry." Seamus abruptly shouted.
Seamus begins to take his headphones off to hear what they're talking about.
"Hey, Seamus, what are those things that you took out?" Twilight asked.
"Headphones? Why?" Seamus answered.
"Headphones? What on Equestria do they do?"
"They let you listen to music...wait, what? Equestria?"
"Can I try them?"
"Sure, I guess. What song? Any."
"Any, I want to make sure this is true."
Seamus promptly gives her the headphones. At first, she struggled with putting them on with her new fingered hands, but May helped her put in on for her. Seamus plays a random song from his iPhone, as Twilight began to become over excited about this new experience. But there was a silent pause that almost lasted forever. Then, the sound of alarm clocks began to burst through her ears in surprise. On the look of Seamus' face however, it seems that there was an obvious surprise awaiting for him to see.
"Ahh!" She screamed, "What was that? That wasn't music!"
Seamus added, "Yes it is! It's Pink Floyd!"
"You gave her the old 'Time' song, didn't ya?" Kevin asked.
"Sure did."
"Well, aren't you a cheap bastard!"
"Oh my god, the expression on her face made me laugh"
May slapped the back of Seamus and Kevin's head. She then proceeds to call them a bunch of dicks and should grow a pair of balls. In Twilight's face, she started to giggle a bit. May approached her with a reassuring face.
"Don't worry, here's a song that'll probably make you at least more comfortable around us." May said.
May takes Seamus' iPhone and proceeds to play a song that seemed fit.
"May, what song is this? This sounds nice." Twilight asked.
"Called Out In The Dark by Snow Patrol."
"Wow, I never heard a song like this."
As Twilight was attempting to sing along with the song, Deborah returned for Twilight; with her, a wheelchair. Deborah begins to talk to May and Kevin, then to Seamus and Phil. All four began to help Twilight up from her bed onto the wheelchair, of course, with some difficulty. As they finally got Twilight settled down, she was in the wheelchair, ready to leave.
As they left the hospital, Phil and Kevin run to get the car to them. As Seamus and May try to think of a place where Twilight a home, Twilight was listening through Seamus' music. The car came up and parked next to them, helping bring her inside. After they had brought her in, they realized Seamus didn't even come inside the car. Leaving poor old Seamus outside with no phone and no way to contact anyone. It was funny.
"Where are we going?" Twilight asked.
"Well, we're going to take you home. Do you have parents?" May asked.
"No, not in here."
"Why not?" Asked Phil.
"My parents...they're kinda stuck in a situation..." She said.
"Stuck? Like a plant?"
"Sure, you can say that...I guess..."
They eventually arrived at May's house, since no one wanted her. It was a white, two-story building with an oak tree in the yard. They helped Twilight off the car and showed her around. May showed her where she will be sleeping and living for the moment while they get everything moved in.
"May?" Twilight said.
"Yes?" She replied
"Thanks, for this...I--"
"Don't worry, your parents might not be any help, but we're here if you need help. No offence about your parents."
"None taken.."
"Well, goodnight, we have school tomorrow."
"School? But I don't have any supplies, or books, or a backup! I don't even have a uniform ready."
"Relax, we'll have everything set up. I have connections. I'll see you tomorrow morning. Night."
"Night."
May turns off the lights and closes the door. As the new human Twilight began to feel sleepy, she begins to wonder what it must be like with her friends wondering where she is. Beginning to wonder how her friends will try to get her back, missing them. On the other hand, she's also excited about her new school day and her new found friends.
Twilight begins to dream that she is in Ponyville. Her vision becomes blurry as she awakens from her dream. Two indistinguishable blobs come into her vision. Both with very familiar voices that remind her of something. Obviously!
"Twilight! Twilight! Where's Twilight?" A familiar voice hollered, coming from a yellow blob.
"Hey! Have you seen Twilight yet?" coming from another familiar voice, with a blue blob.
Twilight's vision became clearer as she stats to wake up. It was Rainbow Dash and Applejack's voices, both exhausted. Rarity and Fluttershy also come into view, also exhausted. She tries to call out their names, but her voice didn't reach them.
"You seen Twilight anywhere?" Asked Applejack.
"No" Rarity and Fluttershy said in unison. "We tried looking all over Ponyville, no sign of her."
"Darn it! I can't believe she's gone." Said Applejack
"But she couldn't just leave without telling us. Can she?" Rainbow Dash said.
"It's a mysteryyyyyy!" Said Pinkie Pie out of nowhere.
"Wait! Maybe she did leave a note, but we just couldn't find it." Said Applejack. "But where can we start finding clues?"
"Zecora!" Pinkie Pie screamed.
"Of Course! She deals with the unnatural, maybe she can help." Rainbow said
"But...Twilight going missing isn't unnatural" Said Fluttershy
"Well, we never have any disappearances besides now. Might as well ask her." Said Applejack.
"Oh boy, I hope the author can think of rhymes for Zecora's lines. Ooh! I just made one!" Said Pinkie Pie
"Pinkie, what're you talkin' about?" Asked Twilight to Pinkie, acting strange.
"Nevermind, let's go to Zecora's house. " she said.
They all begin to rush into the Evergreen forest. Passing by Twilight, as if she was a ghost. Twilight begins to follow her friends into the forest, into Zecora's house.
They reach Zecora's house just as she begins to leave the house.
"Woah! Woah! Where are you girls going? Have some grass that needs mowing? Or some glass that needs blowing?" Zecora said
"Wow, The author must've had trouble with that. He's been sitting there for five minutes straight." Pinkie Pie said, who needs to shut up.
"Zecora! We need help! Twilight is missing and we can't find her." Applejack said
"Twilight is missing? You must be kidding." She said.
"No we are not. We need your help. Can you help us find Twilight?" Rainbow said.
"Sure...Burt.." She said strangely.
They all come inside the house, full of herbs and dolls inside her house. She begins to mix herbs into her cauldron. She stirs the batch inside the cauldron and begins to chant the words. "Help us find our friend, for she is the one won't make us bend." Over and over, she would say that, until a puff of smoke comes out of the cauldron.
She looks into the cauldron and a large screen of smoke emerges out of it. At first, everything becomes blurry, but it soon fades and an image comes from it. The cauldron shows Twilight, minutes before she becomes a human. The image of her turning into a human was both emotionally scarring and painful to watch. To see the horn retract into her brain and her body into a human. It was disgusting.
"Oh...my..." The scared Fluttershy said
"That is...unbearable to watch! What a monstrosity!" Rarity screamed
The rest were speechless. Twilight comes towards the cauldron to see what is going on. She begins to see herself transform into her human form. She was also horribly terrified of her transformation. She attempts to tell herself that this is a dream. However, it feels so real, that she doesn't think that at all.
Everyone besides Twilight and Zecora fainted, she looks directly towards Twilight.
"Ah! Twilight! The girl with the highlights." Zecora said
"Zecora! How can you see me?" She asked
"Remember, I see all through the walls." Zecora rhymed.
"Ok, I'm in dire need of help. Also, I'm in what humans call, a lucid dream. I think I'm in one right now." Twilight said. "How can I get back to Equestria? "
"Ahh. There's no way to get back, unless you have a pact." Zecora rhymed again.
"What does that mean? What pact?" She said
"You need help from others there, without that you won't go anywhere." Zecora said
"But...but how can i do that?" Shw asked
"i can not help you, but there are a few."
"Who?"
Everything around Twilight begins to fade and Zecora's voice starts to mumble. Everywhere, all she sees is blobs and disfigured items. She's starting to wake up from her lucid dream. Her vision becomes clearer again and she sees herself in her room.
Twilight looks around and attempts to move herself. She is stuck and unable to move.
"Oh no! What is this? Is this some sort of trap that humans put around? My hands are free, but they can not move." She said squirming. "Someone! Help!"
Pinkie Pie comes out from under the bed. "This is some messed up thing the author is thinking of." She said, putting a pipe in her mouth. Gives a huff, then a puff.
"Pinkie Pie? What are you doing here? And what is that?" Twilight asked
"I don't know, the author put me up to this. I'm just here cause I like this pipe."
"Pipe?"
"i don't know, I blame the author for not putting too much info into this."
"Anyway, what am I doing here? I thought my dream was over? And what's hentai?"
"I can't tell you."
"Why not?"
Pinkie looked at Twilight with a serious face. "Because if I do, I'll have to kill you..."
"What?"
"I don't know, I'm just following the script"
"Script? Your not making any sense." Said Twilight. "Look, can you try to wake me up?"
"I can't. Your body is in a state of paralysis and can't be moved. It's your body's failsafe if you ever wake up out of the blue."
"Wow," She said in her amazement. "I never knew that you, how'd you know?"
"I was reading your books to Fluttershy when you were gone. It didn't help her sleep."
"No wonder I've been missing a book!" She exclaimed.
"Anyway, see ya! I'm gonna hang with the author. See ya!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed
"Wait!" Twilight rushed.
Twilight begins to hear the gears of a Grandfather clock*. Ticking and toking, to and fro the pendulum goes. She hears other clocks in the background, to and fro. Continuously hearing the clocks' gears turn.
Twilight wakes up from a sudden burst of alarm clocks coming from her room. Looking around her room to see where the source of the sound is coming from. She looks right next to her bed to see an iStereo next to her, with Seamus' iPhone plugged in. It was playing the Pink Floyd song, Time, again. Twilight tries to calm herself and stops the song to something more pleasant. May opens the door with a smile.
"Morning!" She said.
"Morning.." Twilight said.
"Come on, you gotta shower."
"Shower? What's a shower?"
"Hm, you probably hit your head too hard or something to forget that. Look, to shower, you gotta turn the knob in the bathtub and water will come out. Also push the button next to the knob to hit the shower function."
"What?"
"You'll see it when you find out. Here's your towel, I'll let you borrow my clothes to dress in. Also, school starts at 9:30, so hurry up."
Twilight looks at the iStereo, it's 7:50. May leaves her room and begins to fun down the stairs. Twilight goes to the bathroom and closes the door. She then begins to take a shower. No! I'm not gonna become descriptive in this part of the story, you perverts. After she has taken her shower, she noticed the door is slightly open. Letting it slide, she went back to her room, finding May putting some clothes on her bed.
"Here you go, these are yours for now. We'll go shopping after school."
"Thanks. Now, can you go? I need some time to change."
May nods as she leaves the room. Seamus peeks through the open door, unnoticed by Twilight.
"I know your there, creep!" Twilight shouted.
Seamus ran away from the door fast, falling down the stairs. May took notice at Seamus, then Twilight as she came down with her new clothes. Twilight, wearing May's Joy Division shirt with ripped pants, looks at Seamus angrily for peeping.
"Way to go Peeping Tom," She said to Seamus, then to Twilight, "Nice, you look fit with your hair."
"Thanks, I guess. Who's Tom?" She asked.
"Oh, that's just an expression we use when people are looking at girls naked. Here, some coffee."
May hands her some fresh coffee that she made. Seamus tells the girls that he's going to prepare the car. Both girls get ready and talk as they enter the car. Twilight, who's excited to be in school, hoping she'll have new friends. As they ride to school, May begins to mention some things about the neighborhood and the school she'll be attending. On the way to school, they encounter a group of middle school kids walking on the street.
"Son of a bitch! These kids again!" Seamus angrily exclaimed
"What's wrong with them? They're not dong any harm." Twilight asked
"No, but they're annoying since we have to share the road with them. Plus, their school is next to ours, so they get really annoying after school." May replied with a monotonous voice.
Seamus sticks his head out of the car, "Move out of the damn way!"
"No!" one of the kids shouted back.
"If you don't move, I'll run you ove--"
One of the kids spit in Seamus' face, as others laughed at him; he tried to calm down, wiping the spit off of his face. May tried to calm Seamus down, asking Twilight to come out and tell the kids to move. Twilight got out of the car and went up to the kids.
"Hi kids, can you please move? We need to get to school." Twilight pleaded.
"Sure, we'll move." One of the kids said.
"Thanks"
Twilight leaves and returns the car, quietly waiting. The kids, disregarding Twilight, are still walking on the street, Cars are piling up behind each other, honking and yelling at each other to move. Seamus sighed to his dismay, while May pats him on the head.
They eventually reached school, at 8:50, with a pretty dent up car. Both girls go inside the school, Twilight becoming excited. The school was an outside school with a few indoor classrooms inside buildings. There were two amphitheaters, a gym and some portables nearby. On top of that, the school is located near a storage facility, which to Twilight, was a bit odd. The school wasn't special, but in an overhead view, the school looked as the logo of the Freemasons...kinda, I don't know.
"Wow! This school looks amazing! I hope this human world will be great.", Twilight thought to herself.
"Okay, I have your schedule," May said. "Your new name here is Christina. That's only temporary, you can call yourself whatever you want as a nickname. Oh yeah, what's your name again?"
Twilight looks at her in surprise, with an open mouth. Twilight doesn't say anything for a minute, then speaks again.
"My name is Twilight, May. Didn't the Doctor tell you guys my name?" She asked
"No, she only said that you were okay." May replied
"Yeah, kinda awkward now." She said.
"Yeah...so, who do you have next?" May looked into the schedule sheet, sees her first period class. "Ok! You have me and Kevin in first period."
May hands Twilight the schedule, her first period is physical education. Both of them talk and discuss about things as they walked out of the office. Seamus and Kevin came out of the lunchroom laughing and walked towards the girls. Looking at each other as if they had done something right, which they did. Out of the blue, a wild Vice Principal comes towards the boys.
"Sirs! May I see your ID?" The Vice principal asked.
Both boys pull out their lanyards, placing it over their heads. Afterwards, the Vice Principal left the two alone, then both removed their lanyards. My god, I'm being repetitive!
"Okay Twilight, you met these two already. No need for introductions." May said
"Twilight?" Both boys said in unison, "I never knew that!"
"Now you know!" Twilight responded
"Anyway, Kevin here helped with things and put you in our school." May said
"How'd you do that?" Twlight asked
"Hacker's secret, Twilight." Kevin said starkly
"Begging your mom to use the school computer doesn't count." Seamus said
"Son of a bitch...." He said
"Okay guys, I showed her around the school. One of you guys show her Twilight to her class...es" May said.
She looked around a bit to find either Kevin and or Seamus, only to end up losing track of time. As May looked around, she saw a familiar shadow of Kevin in the library. As soon as she went inside, the bell rang aloud from where both girls stood. It's the morning bell, time for class.
Everyone in the school began to run to their classes , or just staying where they are until the final bell. The girls walk to the gym, on the way, Twilight glances at a big man yelling at kids. The teacher's appearance was that of a viking, long hair and beard. He had brown hair and wore shorts, holding a giant stick, possibly for whacking kids on their heads to pay attention.
Twilight and May make it into the locker rooms, and change into their uniforms. She felt a bit uneasy undressing in front of everyone, so she asked May if she really does have to undress. May shook her head, then Twilight sighed to her dismay. Luckily, May forgotten to pack an extra pair of clothes, so Twilight doesn't dress out. Twilight went into the gym and was told to meet up with Kevin.
"Hey there, kid." Kevin began the conversation with.
Kevin wore a white PE uniform, just like everyone, almost. Some wore a green shirt, most wore white or grey. She thought of some color coding rank system, ranging from green to white. She makes note of this for later use. She continues watching the other kids to see any other differences.
"Hey! Kid! Kid?" Kevin shouted.
"Hey! My names not kid, it's Twilight. I'm a unicor--I mean human being!" Twilight quickly said, to herself, "Wha..What did I just say?"
"Um...ok? Well, we're all human beings, we are all just different in a way." He replied
"You serious? PE is a class where we all do physical things, and learn...stuff" He said to his best representation
"Oh really? Learn what?"
"Sports....The body....things...."
"Your not really enthusiastic about your education, aren't you?"
"Sure he is, he just has to get himself devoted more." A voice called out
"Who said that?" Twilight asked
"It's me! Hi! You must be the new student, Christina. I'm your PE teacher, Mrs. Walker." She said.
"Glad to meet you, Mrs. Walker! I'm not going to get penalized for not being in uniform, like everyone else is... Do I?"
"No, until you get your uniform, then you'll be excused. Kevin, can you inform her on what we're doing here?"
"Yes Ma'am." Kevin said, looking towards Twilight, "We're doing baseball, you don't need to play but you can try."
"Baseball? What's that?" She asked.
"You'll find out later o--" He was interrupted
A man wearing a PE uniform walked towards both of them. He had light skin and freckles all over his face and body. He was round and from his face, looked stressed. He had a bruise on his leg and a tattoo made to look like stitching on arm. He pushed aside Twilight, making her land on her butt, and he punched Kevin in the stomach.
"Ow! My dinner!" He hollered.
Twilight looked at the man, with an angry snarl. Much to her anger, she had forgotten that her horn had disappeared when she became human. The bulky man looked at Twilight strangely, then left with no interest. May runs up to the badly injured Kevin, helping both of them up.
"Kevin! Are you okay?" May asked
"He got hit by that guy! Why'd he do that?" Twilight queried
"His name is Tom, but he calls himself TJ. He's a dick. " Kevin intervened, "He egged my house and stole my computer yesterday, cause I told on him about his record of stealing and arson. Guess that's what I get for dealing with a kid from Juvie. Fucking asshole..."
"That's horrible! We gotta do something about this." She demanded
"Look, its fine, I don't need it, I can help myself."
"Alright...if you need help, you have us." May said
"I wish the others were here. I miss everyone in Ponyville. Princess Celestia, I hope you can hear me." Twilight thought to herself.
Everyone eventually got into their places and sat down on the ground. Twilight sat down very oddly, she eventually got it down after Kevin helped her. This story is really becoming boring so I'll just show you guys the baseball part.
After the exercises and running around the track for 20 minutes, they finally got to the baseball part. Kevin and May were the team leaders, the class got to their respective teams. Kevin's team name were the Wizards, May's team name were the Witches. Twilight went to team Witches, which is mostly full of girls, mostly. After May showed her the ropes on how to bat, it was Twilight up to bat.
As she came to bat, she became very nervous with each step she took. Closer and closer, her hands and forehead became sweaty. She began to question her enthusiastic self about Physical Education. Kevin looked at Twilight emotionless, pitching the ball for the enemy team. Both looked into each others eyes, with fear and intimidation.
"My god, Kevin! Stop freaking her out!" A voice shouted
"Just throw the damn ball already!" Another voice yelled
Kevin stops looking at Twilight, then throws the ball at her. Twilight screams, dropping the bat and running away from the base. It was a bit of an awkward moment for her, but it was funny for the Wizards to see. May tries to calm her down and she was back to bat. In the second attempt to bat, she hits the ball successfully...hitting Kevin in the face.
"Out!" Mrs. Walker shouted, "Someone get him to the nurse!"
After getting the now unconscious Kevin out of the field, they continued the game. Twilight was the pitcher for the Witches now, Twilight was the previous pitcher. She picks up the ball and tries to concentrate on the batter.
"Christina! Hurry up and pitch the ball!" One voice screamed
The yelling from her team blocked Twilight's concentration immensely. TJ came up to bat, with a mischievous grin, Twilight sees and scowls at him. She throws the ball, with an immense force behind the throw. TJ swings hard, releasing the bat with tremendous strength; attempting to hit Twilight.
Whack!
"Wake up! Are you ok?" A familiar voice called out
May looks at the lifeless body of Twilight, laying on a bed in the nurse's office. Kevin lays silently on the other side of the office, May is in between. She nonchalantly drinks a box of apple juice from the Vending Machine, waiting for Twilight to wake up. May looks at the body of Kevin, then looks away seeing through his disguise.
"Wake up, Kevin." May said.
Kevin sits up on the bed, yawning and stretching as if he hadn't slept in ages. Which he probably hasn't since he has bags under his eyes. Kevin looks at May and says, "So, what happened?". May nods her head towards Twilight, with barely any injury. "What the Hell! I get hit in the face by Twilight and she doesn't get any injury! I mean look at me! My eye is bleeding!"
"Relax. Least you got out of PE, you didn't want to fight TJ." May said to Kevin. "Besides, she just fainted. Some kid just ran up and caught the bat mid-flight. It was probably Faye."
"Really?." He said surprisingly. "Well, whatever. I'll wake up Twilight, it's almost third perio--Holy Shit!"
Twilight sprang to life from her lifeless self, making Kevin fall back to his butt. "Third period? What happened to second? Did we skip a period?"
"Relax madam, we haven't missed second period." May said. "I forgot to mention our school has block period. So we have at odd number classes first."
"So it's First, Third...then Fifth?" She asked
"Yessiree!" She exclaimed, "Now let's go, it's almost 3rd period."
All of them exit out of the nurse' room, finding their bags out in the hallway. Twilight was surprised to find her backpack in the hallway, next to the others. She looked at May, wondering if she had done this.
"May, did you..."
"No need to thank me. Let's just go."
"Ok, but...what if the nurse figures out we're gone?"
"She's no here. We'll be ok."
"What do you mean?"
"The nurse doesn't work today."
"Why not?"
"Let's just go to class..."
The trio exit through the door that said, "DO NOT ENTER" on the other side of the door. The bell then rang into the kids ears, almost deafening Twilight.
"Okay! We need to get through two classes, then go home!" May said
"Alright.... Where's my next class at?" Twilight asked, then May points to the direction of her next class.
Twilight moves onto her classroom while the others just talked to other people. She moves on towards her next class, which is computers. She is introduced by the big guy who she saw earlier in the story. His name was Nick Stagiun (Stayj-im). He was a coffee addict, he would always have a coffee in his hand or nearby
"Good Morning, are you the new student?" Mr. Stagium asked
"Yes, I am. My name is...Chr....istina" She said
"Okay, Chr....istina! Come inside and take a seat." He offered
Twilight walks into the room, feeling out of place. She looks around, she sees Seamus placing his feet on an empty chair. She walks up to him and Seamus looks up at Twilight. Seamus looked into her eyes and said, "Hiiii Kevin." Twilight looks at him strangely.
"Hiii Seamus" Kevin said from behind Twilight. Twilight jumped and screamed loud at the surprise.
"You scared me!" She said.
"Sure did." Kevin said.
Twilight gets up and looks at the computer. The computer was mainly a black Dell computer case, with an aged computer screen that seemed to had its days. The screen was small, but it wasn't like we needed a big screen. The keyboard and mouse were missing though, to which Twilight hadn't known what they were yet.
"What''s that?" Twilight said fascinatingly.
"It's a computer, Christina." Seamus said
"Wow, so that's a computer? So fascinating!" She said.
"Yeeah, you never seen one in your life, haven't you?" Kevin asked
"Why, no. Back where I used to live, there wasn't any computers or anything like this at home."
Kevin looked at Seamus, they nodded their heads, agreeing she is something unusual. Twilight moved the rolling chair back and she shrieked in excitement. "Wow!" She said, "I never had these before either. Where I lived, they don't have these!"
Mr. Stagium came inside, the students were beginning to sit down. Then he waited for everyone to be quiet. Twilight looked around to see why everyone was quiet. The teacher was looking directly at Twilight with a creepy smile.
"Mr. Stag..ium? In the risk of making myself look stupid, what are we waiting for? Am I in trouble?" Twilight asked.
"No, we're just waiting for SOMEBODY to sit down..." He said looking at Kevin.
"Sorry" Said Kevin, sitting down on his chair.
"Anyway... GOOD MORNING, CLASS!" The teacher shouted.
The classroom was mixed with 'hellos' and 'good mornings'. Some didn't even talk and ignored his screaming. Twilight fell back on her chair and landed on her backpack. "I'm ok!" she exclaimed. She got herself up and continued to listen.
"Class, this is Christina!" Mr. Stagium points to Christina. "She is a new student, please welcome her."
The class was again filled with voices, mixed with 'hellos' and 'good mornings'. The teacher continued talking about the lesson today. Twilight tries to turn on her computer, but Kevin turns it on for her by a button. She waits for the computer to work. Fifteen minutes had gone by and the computer eventually turned on.
"Finally! I never knew computers were so slow. Oh well, now, how can I write into this machine?" Twilight said,
Both Kevin and Seamus chuckled. Twilight looks at both of them. "What?" She said.
"Oh nothing." Kevin said.
"Excuse me, Mr. Stagium. Can you come here?" She asked
Stagium hears her call and walks towards Twilight. "What is it, Christina--oh..." He said.
"What is wrong?" Twilight asked
"There's no mouse, nor keyboard." He said.
"What's that?"
"You don't know what they are? Well, ask those two delinquents, they know."
Twilight giggled, "Delinquents, they don't like look one?"
"Maybe not right now, but they always have their heads up their asses." Said Stagium, everyone else in the class laughs.
"Very funny, sir." Kevin said
"Thank you, now give Christina back the keyboard and mouse."
Twilight just giggles from the conversation they had. Kevin places back the missing components and tells her what they are doing. They are currently doing a project on a children's book. Twilight is excused from doing the project. She is told from Stagium that he hasn't created an account for her, but she can hang around.
Twilight notices what Seamus and Kevin are currently doing on the computer. They are currently reading over a story that Seamus has created. Twilight rolls her chair towards them to peek.
Kevin laughs in an awkward way, as if he was a hyena. He then mockingly speaks like a girl, "Haha! This story sucks!" Twilight began to giggle at Kevin's imitation, two others also laughed from Kevin's loud comment. "That's what your girlfriend would've said to you, if she read this story."
"Then why don't you edit this story for me?" Said Seamus.
"Certainly!" Replied Kevin, He turns off the computer screen and begins to type fast on the keyboard. Twilight wonders what he is writing. Seamus watches carefully what he is writing.
He sees him slowly write the word 'penis' in the keyboard. Seamus shakes his head in disappointment. "No, that's bad, Kevin." He said. Kevin presses the "Prt Scr" button before he turns it back on. Seamus turned on the computer screen to see what he had wrote. Twilight sat next to Kevin to see what he had typed.
"Both Michael and Nick woke up in the same bed. Both looked at each other, locked in each other's eyes. Michael began to..... Oh My God!" Screamed Seamus. He had written a passage of sex between two male characters. (No offense to anyone who is offended by this.)
Kevin begins to laugh hysterically, "Kevin, you bastard!" Seamus said, giggling also.
A classmate, DeVonte, looks at Seamus. "What? Lemme see.". DeVonte was a very dark skinned person with a small mohawk. He had some hair growing on his chin, wore a jacket and had his guitar next to him.
"No, haha." He said, "It's super gay" Kevin continues to laugh at his deed. Seamus erases the passage.
"Here Seamus. Let me do something real quick" Kevin said,
"No," Seamus said laughing a bit, "It's probably something gay."
"No, no, Just let me do something." Kevin had opened up the program, Paint. He pasted the image that he had screen captured with "Prt Scr". DeVonte and his friend, Christian, looked at what he had captured. Twilight got closer to what he is typed. Both of them were laughing hysterically what he had written in Seamus' story, Twilight was confused.
"Maybe now your girlfriend won't think your story sucks." Said DeVonte. Everyone in the area started to laugh, even Twilight, who didn't actually understand what he wrote, but got the joke.
Seamus looked at the time on his computer, it was almost time to leave. Everyone began to pack up.
"Well, that was a full class session wasted." Seamus said.
"Yeah, but come on, it was funny. Even the readers would think this is boring." Kevin said.
"Shut up! That was gay what you wrote."
"Your girlfriend would've thought your original story was stupid. So I helped out."
"Kevin, you are so immature... But that joke was actually funny." Twilight said
The bell rang for Twilight's final class began. "Alright everyone! See you later! I gotta go pee!" Said Stagium, Twilight was a bit disgusted. He had ran out of his classroom, pushing everyone out of his way to the teacher's bathroom.
Both boys got up and went to their fifth period class. "See ya later, Christina!" Both said. She looked at her schedule and saw her fifth period class was World History. She began her short walk to that class, moving past others in her way. Twilight bumped into a sophomore student, it was a girl who had brown hair and pale skin. She said she knew who she was, scaring Twilight.
Another bell had rung, everyone started to run to their classes or else face the principal of tardiness. Twilight began to run to her class. As she ran towards class, she had almost gotten ran over by a golf cart, (school janitorial's transportation). But she made it to her class.
"Wow, you look like battered shit." A voice called out
"Hey!" Twilight angrily shouted
Twilight looked up to see who said it, It was TJ again. TJ was this big bulky guy that was shown earlier in PE. He mocks Twilight for fainting in PE earlier and how she was bad at pitching, Twilight gets up and begins to lecture him about respect. However, she embarrasses herself and stopped her lecturing when she notices everyone is laughing at her. She went inside the history class and just placed her head down.
Inside Twilight's classroom, she had all four kids inside: Kevin, Seamus, May and Phil. She went up towards her History teacher, he instructs her to sit in an open desk for today. She sits in between her new friends in the middle of the classroom. TJ sat in the front of the teacher where he could see him.
They begun today with a lecture about WW2. The teacher began to talk monotonously about how the Russians defended the city of Stalingrad. Twilight was very intrigued at the lecture, learning Human history. After minutes of his monotonous lecture, she began to feel sleepy. She tried to stay awake, however, the desire to sleep over powered her.
Half an hour left of class was left in school, and she slept most of the class period. She woke up with everyone laughing at her for no reason. She looked around to see what was funny, but there was nothing noteworthy of being funny.
"Pssst! Twilight, you were sleeping talking." May whispered
"Huh? What? I was?"
"Yes, you were."
"What was I whispering about?"
"Something about 'Princess Celestia and Zecora. Then you were talking about some stuff about Pinkie Pie. What was that about?"
"Oh...uh...." Twilight looked around, thinking of an excuse. "Oh, well...uh...those were...uh...names for....this thing...I'm thinking of...."
May looked at her funny, then turned her head forward. The teacher was occupied, reading a comic book, then falling asleep. The kids were finished with a worksheet that Twilight caused everyone to do for sleeping. Then Twilight stood up and yawned aloud, almost waking the teacher.
"God damn! Could you be any louder? The teacher is asleep and we need to relax, not do notes." Phil said.
"Sorry" Twilight said, with a smile, acting innocent. A phone had rung from one of the students.
The teacher woke up from his slumber to the noise. "What was that?" The teacher was a blond man in his 30s or 40s; he has a small beard, balding and skinny. His name was Mr. Oak, he wore a suit and a red tie. He looked at the students and went back to sleep.
"Wow, are all humans like this?" Twilight asked
"No, only him cause he has a baby. Baby always cries at night." Said Kevin
"Good thing for us cause we're all relaxed when he's here. He usually makes us take notes cause of people in here." Said Seamus
"Yeah, and with worksheets, Phil always does them so fast." May said.
"Really? That must be hard. I know someone who can help with the baby!" She said, then recollects. ".....Or used to"
"What does thou mean?" Seamus said.
"Thou? It means...it's like saying 'you'." Said Twilight
"No, I mean as in... Oh nevermind. The bell is gonna ri--" The bell had rung, interrupting Seamus.
The kids were leaving school, all tired from sleeping during sessions. Seamus got inside his car with May and Twilight. Both girls fell asleep in the back, Seamus painstakingly drives back home tired and with a drunken feeling.
Hours later, May realizes they have no food at home. Seamus suggests that they go to a fast food restaurant, to show Twilight. All three get inside the car and travel to the nearest restaurant, In N' Out. They enter the Drive Through and order their food. Seamus buys three Double Double burgers and three animal fries. Twilight mentions how it is forbidden to eat animals.
He changes the order to have two Double Double burgers, three animal fries, and three Coca Colas. After getting the food, May gave the animal fries and soda to Twilight. showing how to eat the food. Trying to grab the fries with her fingers, Twilight got her shirt messy.
"No, you eat them with a fork, that's why they're called animal fries." May said, "They're meant for animals, like Seamus.."
"Hey!" uttered Seamus.
Twilight giggles, "Really?"
"No, I made that up so I can get his attention." May said
They come home at 9 PM, tired and sleepy. Twilight consumed most of her animal fries, drinking half of her soda. May is asleep in the front seat, next to Seamus. Twilight feels like she is forgetting something, she remembers shortly.
"Oh no!" Twilight screamed, jolting Seamus and waking up May.
"What?" Seamus said.
"I need to write to Celest-- I mean, nothing. I need to write something down."
"Well, if you need to write something down, I've got a notepad."
"No, that's too small for her royal hi--I mean, i need a journal."
"I got a spare, Twilight." Said May. "It's in my room. I'll get it."
Everyone goes out of the car, into the house with the remaining food they have left. May goes up to her room and gives Twilight the spare journal. The journal is old, but was left collecting dust until now. May then left to shower off and sleep. Twilight picked up a pencil and began writing her day in her room.
Dear Princess Celestia, Today, I learned that humans are the same as us. They eat, sleep, have fun, be goofy, hurt or be nice. But the difference between us and them, is the fact that some people can tolerate others to a certain degree. My friend got angry over some kids blocking the road. He almost ran them over too, which would've been bad. Then my new friends showed me something called "Fast Food", I didn't eat it, of course. All I ate were these things called "Animal Fries" and a "Soda", I think it was a Coca Cola.
But I guess this new world isn't the same ours. I hope I can get back to my world again soon, I miss my friends.
It was 3:20 AM and everyone was sleeping, besides Seamus. Seamus was in the living room watching late night television, sitting on the couch. He wasn't tired, but was more excited about staying up this late. A door opened from upstairs that scared him out of his seat. He hid behind the couch in fright.
"Who's there?" He shouted
"Hello? Anypony there?" a voice called out
"Anypony? There's no pony anywhere."
"Seamus?"
"Twilight?"
Seamus moved out from behind the chair, Twilight came downstairs. Twilight was wearing a purple tanktop with some red sweatpants. Twilight run up and hugged him. Seamus was both confused, yet happy that it was not any intruder.
"Seamus, there's something scary that I heard," She said, looking around. "Was that you making that THUMP noise?"
"Thump noise? No, that was the TV."
"TV?"
"Yes," He answered, pointing to it. "I was watching some TV cause I couldn't sleep."
"Oh, really? Can I watch with you too?"
"Sure, I guess... no classes tomorrow anyway."
"Why not?"
"It's supposed to snow tomorrow, we can't go to school."
"Oh..."
The room fell to silence as both watched TV, both sat on the couch closely. The show was about to begin, it was playing Cowboy Bebop. Twilight became fascinated about the show, the beginning music and the intro was enough to make her watch it.
"Seamus, what is that?"
"Cowboy Bebop. It's an old show. They don't play it anymore."
"Why not?"
"Well, they do, but only in Adult Swim." He continued. "They don't show it anymore cause the broadcasters of the show hate anime."
"Okay, what's this 'Cowboy Bebop' about?"
"Well, it's about these bounty hunters that want to make money and strike it rich."
"That doesn't sound interesting..."
"Of course not, but in the show, it's exciting."
"How? Just watch, you'll see."
The episode of Cowboy Bebop was 'Pierrot le fou'. Both were glued to the TV as the episode began. Both see Spike and The Mad Pierrot fight after Spike witnessing the murder. Twilight wonders what's happening, but doesn't want to interrupt. The more she watched, the more she wanted to ask.
"Seamus, who's the man in the green hair?"
"That's Spike. He's the most badass bounty hunter I've ever seen."
"Spike....."
"Huh? Is something wrong?"
"What? Oh, no... I... was trying to remember something."
"Ok, well, if you remember, then... tell me, I guess."
Both continued to watch the episode, seeing Spike fall into the water. As Spike was about to splash into the water, the TV screen turned to black. The room was dark and silent, with the sound of water droplets dripping and the lights outside on.
"Oh my Celestia!" Twilight screamed, holding tight to Seamus. "I'm scared."
"Don't worry, it's probably an interference of some kind." Said Seamus, calming her down, "...what's a Celestia?"
The television turned on again, but not to Cowboy Bebop. It was displaying a white screen with black text, it was the AMBER alert. Seamus and Twilight looked at the TV for a minute. The TV then began that in continuous beeping.
"Seamus, this is scary." She whispered.
"I know..." He whispered.
The AMBER alert has stopped beeping, it began to speak. "Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert. At 2:40PM today, a child has been abducted from his home. The child was last seen in Alameda High, he wore a green shirt and black pants. His name is 15 year old, Thomas Nebesark.If you have seen him, contact authorities immediately." The beeping continues for 3 more minutes, then replays the message again. It then came back to Cowboy Bebop.
"Is it over? I think it's over." Twilight asked
"Yeah, it's over." He said
"Well, what's gonna happen to that Thomas guy?"
"No idea... but he'll turn up eventually."
"Why're you acting so calm about it."
"I'm not, I'm honestly scared. I had my headphones on with loud music. Besides, I don't care."
Twilight removed her arms from Seamus. She turned around and went to the kitchen to get some water. She went for a glass and poured some water for herself. Twilight walks back to where she was sitting and sat further away from Seamus. Both continued to watch the episode to the end.
"Well, that was a good episode, wasn't it?" He asked
"Yeah, sure..." She said pouting about earlier.
"Look, I'm sorry about earlier." He said as he gotten closer. "I didn't mean to say that about him."
"Your careless, you know that?"
"Well, I'm so--"
The lights unexpectedly turn off, so with the TV and the lamppost outside. Twilight accidentally dropped the glass of water on the couch. The darkness consumed the house and it's neighbors. The silence had taken the house again, it was a blackout.
"Seamus! What the hell is going on!" Shouted May from upstairs, walking downstairs"I just woke up from some damn noise downstairs and-- *THUMP THUMP THUMP*" May had fallen down the stairs.
"Where are you, May? I can't find you." Said Seamus
"I'm right here." Said May, going behind Seamus, "Boo!".
"Well, were all here...." Seamus stands where he currently is.
The lights turn back on as he uttered those words. May looked towards Seamus at amazement. Twilight came out of the kitchen, "Hey! Someone was screaming some loud words and the lights came back on!". Both May and Seamus looked at each other and stayed quiet about it.
"Well, I think I'll go to bed." Said Twilight, going upstairs, "See you guys in the morning!" Twilight went back into her room.
It was just Seamus and May in the living room. Things got a bit awkward when May looked at the couch to see some wetness. She looked at Seamus, noticing he had wet his pajamas.
"Seamus... you pissed yourself, didn't you?" Said May.
"What? No! Twilight did that."
"Sure... Sure..."
"Haha" He said mockingly "Go fuck yourself."
"Well, what did you two do?"
"Well, we.... kissed... and stuff..."
"Uh huh, sure..."
"Whatever, I'm going to bed."
"Don't you mean the garage?"
"Don't you mean the garage?" He said again mockingly, walking upstairs to his room.
May turned off the lights and the TV, she got herself a glass of water and went upstairs. She stopped at Seamus' room to peek inside. He was sleeping in his bed with a coffee maker beside him. She smiled a bit and went back to her room. The clock was at 4:15 when it became quiet.
Fifteen minutes after everyone went to bed, May opens her door and comes downstairs. It was 4:30 and Twilight was still awake. She walks downstairs, trying to sneak up on May to see what she is doing. She sees May making coffee for herself. May sighs and sits down in a chair.
"I know your there, Twilight. You can't scare me."
"Um... I wasn't trying to scare you.."
"You weren't? Oh, never mind. Why're still up?"
"I don't know..." She said, yawning, "Guess i'm not tired."
"Well, wanna watch some TV then?"
"Sure"
May picks up the remote and turns on the Television. The TV is playing an infomercial about the George Foreman Grill. Twilight looks intrigued by it, the grill mainly.
"What's a grill?" She asks
"It's a thing we use to cook meat."
"Meat?!?!" She screamed
"What? We everyone eats meat..." She responds.
"But.. But.. Meat is forbidden for us ponie-- I mean, me to eat!"
"Relax, you don't have to eat the meat if you don't like."
"Oh.. so...."
"if you don't want to eat meat, tell me. I'll cook up something else." May interrupted
"Thanks... Not what I was about to say, but alright."
May offered the remote to Twilight. "What's this?"
"A remote, let's you change channels quicker."
"Really?"
Twilight looks at the remote closely. It looked as if it was like a miniature keyboard to her. She pressed the volume button and the volume went up. Hurting both of the girls ears. She turned down the volume down to quiet.
"Well, I'm never doing that again." She said. Twilight presses another button next to the volume, the TV screen turned to a different channel. "What magical device is this?" She uttered.
"You changed the channel."
"Oh."
"Here, lemme show you the basics."
Twilight gave back the remote to May, she showed her what each button did. She learned fast which button did. By the time May was done teaching her, it was already 5 AM. Both of them decided to head to bed. They were very tired and wanted to sleep badly. May went back to her room and instantaneously slept on the floor. Twilight went inside her room and barely made it to her bed.
Saturday has arrived and it is sunny in the town of Oakvale. The birds were chirping, the snow melting, and everyone was still sleeping. It was 7 in the morning and inside May's house, everyone is sleeping. All was quiet inside the residence. When suddenly, a doorbell had rung, waking up all three people inside.
Seamus was the first to get up from his bed, waking up with sudden energy. "Hey! One of you answer the door?" He shouted, realizing "The fuck? Shouldn't I feel tired from sleep?"
Twilight, who is sore from carrying the bags of CDs yesterday, is in her bed. Unable to move her arms, she yells, "Why not you, Seamus? You're a big strong man! Maybe you should open the door?"
"I can't Twi, I... I'm seriously ill!" He proceeds to make noises in his room, suggesting he is vomiting in his room. The doorbell rings again. "C'mon Twilight! Why not get the door?" He proceeds to make noise again.
"Seamus! Get the door!" May yells from inside her room, tired of both of them yelling. "God! You guys shout so damn much!" She exits her room, enters Seamus' room. "Seamus! Get your ass up and open the damn door!"
"Geez, this a new month or something?" He said, mocking May. He gets off of his bed and walks past her, noticing his sock on the floor, bending over. She kicks him on his butt, pushing him out of his room. "Alright! Alright! Damn, guess it is that time." She throws his shoe at him, hitting him on the head. "Ow! Damn it! That hurt!" He opens the door to see a friend, Gavin.
"Hey Seamus!" Gavin said with glee.
"...." Seamus doesn't respond.
Gavin smiles. "Hey Seamus!" He repeated.
"..." He does not respond again.
"I can see you don't want to answer, is that right?" Gavin hits his arm with his elbow profusely. "Eh? Eh? Eh?"
"What..."
"Oh! You aren't deaf! Great!" Gavin said, with a big smile on his face. "C'mon! Don't ya wanna come with me?" The big smile still on his face.
Gavin was the redhead friend of the Seamus. He is a bright and fun person anywhere he is, but is annoying in everyone else's eyes. He became friends with Seamus in middle school and been friends since.
"Ok, kid. What do you want?"
"Nothing, I'm just bored."
"..." Seamus closes the door on him and leaves.
"That's not funny!" Gavin shouted outside.
May and Twilight walk downstairs to see Seamus watching TV. "So... Who was that?" Twilight walks past her to get water.
"Gavin."
"Huh... What does he want now?"
"I don't know. But I closed the door on him."
Twilight got herself into the conversation, "That's rude, Seamus. I never knew you were mean." She said
"I'm not mean, I'm just cranky."
"Whatever." May said, she turns to Twilight. "Twilight, I forgot to ask, how is your stay here doing?"
"Well, it's alright. But I feel like something is missing."
"Really? What?"
"Hmm.. Well, My room is just a bed, radio, boxes full of CDs I organized.... that's it."
"Hmmmm" May said loudly, "Do you like some more stuff to keep your stay nice?" Winking her eye at Twilight.
She realizes the message and plays along, "Hmmm! Now that you mention it, I would like a TV, maybe one of those computers and some clothing--"
"Not gonna happen..." Seamus said, not phased by their tricks.
"Seamus, just get her some things. She is our guest and we need to keep our guests happy."
"Wow, aren't you acting so motherly." Seamus said, laying down on the couch. "Alright, but on one condition. Stop bitching if I come home late."
"Fine."
"Shake on it, then." He offers his hand to May, she shakes his hand.
Hours later, Twilight and Seamus are walking to Best Buy. The store had just opened, so the light are off. Both run over to the TV section of the store, the TVs play clips over and over. Twilight is distracted of the mesmerizing TV clips that are showing.
Seamus looks around for the price tags of each TV. "Hey, Twilight. I don't know what you want, but pick what you want, I'll buy it."
"With what?"
"May's credit card."
Twilight looks at every TV on the shelves. LED, HI-DEF, LCD, Blu-Ray, 3D; she is unable to choose which TV is the best. Eliminating three options, she only has Blu-ray, LCD, and 3D televisions to choose from, still unable to choose, she calls on Seamus.
"Which TV is better?"
He points to the television on the top, a Blu-ray TV. The TV is a widescreen LCD TV, 32 inches and a built-in Blu-ray player. Twilight wonders how she will get that, much less carry it home. Twilight calls over an employee to get a ladder for her, she comes back with an employee and a step ladder. The employee brings down the TV and gives a big blue cart to carry heavy items.
Twilight looks down at the big cart, "Wow, this is a big cart.", Seamus pushes the cart, moving to the computer section. He has trouble moving the cart, admitting how it feels like the time he was pushing wood in Home Depot. They bring it around the computer section and place it near the routers.
"Ok...*pant* Look around for.. *pant* a computer... *pant* and... whatever *pant*" Seamus bends his knees, placing his hands onto them, catching his breath.
"Geez, I never knew TVs were that heavy." An employee walks by them, offering his help. "Yes, I would like a really good computer, but I do not know what."
Fifteen minutes later, after the employee picks out a desktop for her, she comes back with an employee. She holds a computer case and a mouse on top of each other. The employee comes back with a 32" LED Samsung computer screen.
"Hey, Seamus!" Twilight called to him.
Seamus' eyes open to see her bring many items. "Damn... May is gonna pissed with me...."
"Seamus, where can we put this?"
"Um... Over by the cashier's counter?" Twilight and the employee walk over to the cashier's counter. Placing their items onto the scanner.
Hours later, both of them have returned home, fixing up Twilight's room. Seamus is bringing out the bed and the entities inside the room. He brings inside a custom made 40" wide wardrobe inside the room, placing inside her walk-in closet, installing the TV inside the wardrobe. Twilight watches him as he works inside, looking through a list.
"Seamus, aren't you making this a bit complicated for yourself?" Twilight says, looking through the list of acquired items. "I think you are."
"Well, don't you have the balls to say that." He finishes installing the TV, he stands up and hits his head. "Ow! Fucking piece of shit!" He said to himself, in pain. "Twi, can you stop looking at the list for one second and help me get your clothes?"
"Of course, sir." She said. She picks up the clothes and inserts coat hangers inside each of them. "So.. Seamus, what's next?"
"Uh....... We install the computer and attach a couple of complicated items and we're done!" He scratches his head, then sneezes. He waits for a response from Twilight, "What? No bless you? Or Gesundheit?"
"I have no idea what those words mean. Sorry." She continues to place coat hangers inside the clothes. After placing the last few hangers on the clothing side of the closet, she brings a coat rack inside and places near the door. "Perfect!"
"Okay... now for the computer!"
"I've got it!" A voice called, it was May, she installs the wires to the computer case and screen. "Done!" She says, proud of herself.
"Gee, aren't you a hard worker?" Twilight said.
"Thank you, Twilight!"
"That's great work, team!" Seamus said, his hands on his hips, feeling heroic.
At the dinner table, Twilight is drinking apple juice May had hidden in the pantry. May realizes the apple juice, "Twilight.." She turns towards her, "Where'd you get that?"
Twilight points to the pantry, "I'm sorry, I was thirsty."
"You know you can get water, right?"
"Yes, but I love apples!"
"I hate apples..." Seamus said unexpectedly.
"Why?" Twilight asked, "Apples are delicious and good for your health."
"One time, I got high off of laughing gas. It had weird effects on me."
"Why? What happened?"
"I don't remember too much, since it was a few years ago. But all I did was sit on this chair and eat apples."
"That's why you hate apples now?"
"It's not that I hated it, it's just that when I take bites off of one, sometimes it would get between my teeth and hurt like hell."
Twilight and May giggled, "Oh yeah, I remember that! You just kept staring off into space and eat apples for 3 days straight." May reminded him.
"Shut up, May."
"Oh yeah!" May remembered, "Where's my credit card?"
Seamus throws her credit card onto the table. "Thank you, big sister!" He said mockingly. "Oh yeah, I maxed it out."
"My Credit Card is Maxed out?!" She yells across the dinner table.
Back in Equestria, one week has passed since Twilight has gone missing and everything has been going different. Celestia is angry because of her missing student, she sends out a search party, consisting of the best pony detectives, to locate her. They have returned with no trace of her.
In Twilight's absence, the library was left untouched. Collecting dust, mold, and spider webs from the books. Everyone in Ponyville wondered if the library will ever reopen. After the disappearance, Spike has been helping Rarity to fill in the void.
Zecora has been hearing of rumors of that book has information on humans. She sends Applebloom, with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, they will retrieve the book for Zecora. The trio begin searching inside the now abandoned library.
Applebloom kicks open the door to Twilight's library. "*cough* How long have she been missing? A week? *cough* How could one week collect so much dust! *cough*"
"I don't know, Applebloom. But now, I wish we didn't go inside." Sweete Belle says, noticing the webs on the roof.
"Relax, Sweete Belle! It's not like we're going to be here forever!" Said Scootaloo, not noticing the webs.
Everyone looked inside the library for any books regarding about humans. High and low, nothing about humans were found anywhere. Scootalo's hover disturbs the spiders' slumber, awaking them. Sweete Belle complains how everything is dusty and smelly. Applebloom uncontrollably sneezes, knocking over books.
As the books fall, it crashes onto their heads. The falling books had shook the spiders off of their webs, onto the crusaders. The girls screamed as they ran out of the library, dusting off any spiders. As they reached for the door, two mysterious ponies burst open the door, letting the crusaders pass through.
The Crusaders ran outside the library, then one pony closed the entrance with a rock, with the name 'TOM' carved on. The crusaders were relieved of leaving the library.
"Hey, thanks-- *gasp*" Applebloom said.
"Applebloom, what in tarnations are ya doin' in there?"
"Um... nothin'" She said, giving an innocent smile.
Fluttershy walks to the girls, "Girls, tell us where you were." Fluttershy said.
"Well, we we're inside Twilight's home looking for somethin-- It was all Applebloom's fault!" Uttered Scootaloo.
"Well, Zecora wanted me to look for this book. Said it could help find Twilight." Applebloom said, "Will ya help us, Big sis?"
"Hmm, I dunno. I don't know if there's really a book-"
"But we have ta try! Nothing's impossible, right sis?"
Applejack stops, then says, "Right! We ain't leavin' any friends behind!"
The crusaders jumped for joy to their help. They all begin to find anyone who knows of a book about humans. Some ponies say that they were crazy for thinking humans exist. Others had information about a pony who had found a book about humans. Everypony met up in front of Twilight's house, discussing where they could find it. All information led directly to a pony with a green mane and an instrumental cutie mark.
The only pony that they thought of with an instrument for a cutie mark, with green hair, was Lyra. They all galloped to try to search for Lyra. They search for her near the Everfree forest, without Bon Bon.
"Wow, I can't believe she's really good at hide and seek!" She said to herself, walking out of the Everfree forest.
"Hey! Lyra! Over here!" Applejack calls her name. Lyra walks over to her, wondering what she needs. "Have ya heard of a book 'bout... humans?"
"Haha! Your funny, Applejack!" Lyra lied.
"Now, don't give me any of that fake laugh'n now. Where's the book?"
Lyra looks around to see if anyone else is looking. "Follow me"
They walk over to Lyra's house to retrieve the book. As they enter, they see notes about humans all over the house.
"Huh... I wonder how she lives like this." Said Fluttershy.
Lyra gives Applejack the book, "Here! Hope you'll find it nice!"
"Not so fast there, partner!" Applejack said, "You're comin' with us."
"To where?"
"Zecora"
All 6 of the ponies walk into the Everfree forest, walking to Zecora's house. As they walk to her house, the 6 hear a huge explosion coming from the house's direction, they galloped as fast as they could. They barged inside the house to see Zecora's face blackened.
"Zecora! Are ya okay?" Asked Applejack, Zecora nodded. "Why can't ya talk? Cat got your tongue?"
A piece of paper lands on Applebloom's head. It contains a list of ingredients of teleportation portal.
"Hey, sis?" Applebloom said, "This is some sort of incantation that was supposed to help us go through to the other world. But it isn't what it did."
"Oh? Then what did it do?
"That" Applebloom points to Zecora, who is speechless and still blackened from soot.
"*sigh* Well, I guess we're never gonna find a way to get Twilight again." Applejack said, depressingly.
"Wait!" A bold voice called out.
Everypony turns around to see Princess Celestia and Shining Armor beside each other. Everypony bows down to the Princess's sudden arrival.
"At ease!" Shining armor said.
"Where is Twilight?" She demanded, "I demand to know!"
"Madam, Twilight is..." Said Applejack.
"Is....?"
"In the human world, ma'am.."
"The Human World?!" She yelled, "The human world? That world is forbidden!"
"Ma'am, calm down--" Said Applebloom.
"Calm down?! My faithful student is stuck in the human world! She's my student, pupil, apprentice! It's my responsibility to keep her safe! How can she be inside the human world?!" Her screams of despair was heard all over the Everfree forest, scaring off any wildlife.
"Princess Celestia, if I may intervene?" Lyra boldly asked. "It was a mere mistake, she is only a young pony and was intrigued by humans. It can not be her fault for being there."
"Yes, it is not entirely her fault." Shining Armor intervened, "But we must retrieve her, that world is not safe for her!"
"But why not?" Lyra asked.
"Lyra... It's forbidden because--" Said Princess Celestia, interrupted by Lyra
"Because why? Everyone will get hurt or something? I'm sure humans are nice and tolerable like everypony in Equestria! Why can't we go?" Lyra said.
"Because those who enter may never return, ever!' Said Princess Celestia. "Have you heard the legend of Little Billy?"
"Little Billy, Princess?" Shining Armor asked.
"Yes, Little Billy. He was a young colt who wandered too far from the herd. He went too deep into the Everfree forest and ended up into the human world. No one knows how he ended up there, mystical beings, portals, magical malfunction, but all we know is that he went into the human world and never came back."
"What happened after that?"
"We sent a 5 search ponies to help locate Little Billy." The Princess paused for a moment, "Only 1 ever came back. He stayed there for a week and they never arrived."
Everyone gasped. Fluttershy hid behind Shining Armor, the crusaders also hid with her. Applejack and Lyra stand lifeless.
"Are ya sayin'... Twilight might not come back?" Asked Applejack.
"I'm certain..." Said Celestia.
"But we can try!" Said Lyra.
"Try, and risk yourselves losing your magic!"
"I'm not afraid!"
"Hmph..." Celestia scoffed, "Fine. I'll let you go..."
"But... How's Twilight gonna know if it's her?" Said Applejack.
"Spike, her assistant."
"But Spike ain't here, ma'am."
"I sent him a letter, he should be here."
Fifteen minutes later, Spike has arrived on Rainbow Dash's back. He thanks her and she leaves. Spike walks up to Zecora's house, scared of punishment from Celestia for being late.
"Your late!" Shining Armor said.
"Sorry, I got held up." Said Spike.
"In what?"
"No time!" Said Celestia, "Spike, you're here to help Lyra find Twilight."
"Find Twilight? But she's missing."
"She's in the human world."
"The human world?! Isn't that forbidden?"
"We already been over that part Spike, are you ready?" Asked Lyra.
"Yeah, I guess. I better get something good outta this." Said Spike
"You will, just help Lyra go through the human world."
Spike rides onto Lyra's back and rides on to the deeper part of the Everfree forest. Passing tress and a stream, they reach the remnants of an abandoned stone tower, where Lyra has gotten her notes of humans and their nature.
They enter the tower without fear. The stone stairs are still in good condition, aside from the moss growing on the sides. They climb upstairs to where she finds her books about humans. The shelves were old and dusty, the books were in the same condition as in Twilight's library.
"Wow! This place is old!" Spike said.
"Let's go downstairs." Said Lyra.
They walk down the steps to the discover a secret entrance under the steps. Spike runs ahead to reach the secret entrance, Lyra follows. There stands a damaged wooden door.
"Huh, wonder what this opens to." Spike said, opening the door, followed by Lyra. They walk down the stairs again from the secret entrance, seeing a small fire.
"Wait!" Lyra said, "Is that a well?"
"Well, well, well." Spike said jokingly. "Looks like we found our culprit. The well transported the lost ponies the human world."
"That doesn't make any sense."
"Well, this is the only thing that makes any sense. Think about it! Little Billy is an earth pony, not a Pegasus, nor a a unicorn. They would have fallen into this well to be in the human world."
"Hm, makes sense, but how can they fall?"
" I dunno, let's look inside."
Both of them look inside, deeper into the Well. Out of the blue, a swarm of parasprites emerge from the passageway to the room, causing Lyra to fall in. Spike tries to grab Lyra, but isn't strong enough, he falls into the well also. Both close their eyes, awaiting for death.
Lyra and Spike wake up from falling in to the well. Lyra looks around to see they have awaken in a town dump. There was a sign that says, "Oakvale City Landfill", knowing they had made it into the human world.
"Spike! Spike! Get up!" Said Lyra profusely.
"What?" Spike said drowsy.
"We're humans!"
"Yeah, humans... But with no clothes."
"Oh... Right...."
Lyra and Spike look around the dump for any clothes they could find. The only thing they could find for clothing are some dirty overalls and a ripped purple shirt for Lyra. Spike found a torn fedora hat, a pen, some ripped Levi's and a shirt that said, Beer Delivery Guy.
"Huh... Lyra, what's beer?" Asked Spike.
"Um.. I think that what most human adults drink." Lyra said.
The duo walked down the mountains of trash, trying to find an exit. Hours pass since they have made it into the human world and no sign of life, except birds. They pass a broken down bus, in curiosity, they examine it closer. It contained nothing, except for couple of broken CD trays and a rat's carcass.
"Ew!" Both of them yelped.
"What IS that?!" Lyra screamed.
"Oh, that's just a dead rat. We're okay... right?" Spike looks at to see Lyra outside of the bus. "Wanna just keep going?"
"Sure..."
They eventually found life as they passed a broken down car. They cried out for their attention and were found by a family passing through. They were immediately taken to their home to shower off the dirt and into a change of clothes. Soon after, they had left, not without a little transportation. Lyra took the keys and drove off in a car.
"Ok, do you know even know what you are doing?"
"Yes, Spike. I read my notes on human technology!"
"This is stealing, you know that, right?"
"I know, but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do."
Twilight and Seamus are outside, in the lunch area. They sit inside one of the benches, papers spread out all over the table. Twilight has an angry look on her, as do Seamus. They are dressed in suits, with each carrying a small suitcase. They are all alone, except for a few yard duty, as they argue.
"Explain yourself!" Twilight yelled out to Seamus.
"I told you, I did not murder him!" He said, defending himself.
"Lies! You did kill him! You used a butcher's knife to kill him in his own home!"
"Blasphemy!!" He bursts out, "I would never kill Mr. Johnson! He is my boss! What intention do I have to kill him?"
"You killed, Mr. Johnson, on the account of greed! You knew he'd give you half of his fortune to you!"
Seamus smashes his fist down onto the bench, papers fly all around, "Lies! You're full of it! How would I know that Mr. Johnson would give me his money? What if I.... Fuck, line!" He calls out to someone.
A man with a camera comes towards the two kids. "God damn it, Seamus. You always forget your lines... How are we gonna get a good grade if you always fuck up the lines?"
"Sorry, Nick. I'm tired." Seamus admitted. He brings out a 2 liter coke from under the bench, sipping straight from the bottle."
Twilight is disgusted, "Wow, are you really drinking straight from the bottle?"
Nick places his camera down onto the bench, picking up the papers. "Yup. That's Seamus for ya... Fucking black hole in his stomach."
"Are you implying he's fat, Nick?"
"No. I'm saying that he eats like a fucking pig. Disgusting and dirty."
"Shut up, Nick." Seamus said, laughing afterwards then stopping in the middle.
The teacher walks up to the three kids, surprising the. "Okay guys! Five more minutes before you guys are done recording!"
"Don't worry, Mrs. Pam." Nick picks up the camera, "We're almost done. We just need bloopers."
"Ok." Mrs. Pam goes back inside her room.
Nick looks directly towards the other two, "Alright, we need to finish this scene and then bloopers-- Seamus, put your pants back on." He sees Seamus changing his suit pants into his jeans.
"So Nick, what's after 4th period for you?" Twilight asked Nick.
"Ah, I got Ms. Gadbut. Such an annoying bitch."
"Why? I heard she's cool."
"She hates our class, she rolls her eyes and hates on us--Seamus, put your pants back on, damn it!."
Seamus and Twilight are walking home after school, holding a subway bag. May took Seamus' car so they had to walk home. They talk about their day and mess around in the nearby playground. Seamus forgets that they are needed home and quickly runs home, so does Twilight.
A mysterious car is parked in front of the house, literally. The car was in an upright position with the left front wheel popped. The lawn and sidewalk had tire tracks and the concrete steps are broken. People walk by the accident as if nothing had happened, no police, nor ambulance. "Hmm, I'd like to say May had something to do with this.... but she's not on her period." Seamus commented.
"Period?" Twilight asked.
"Er... Uh... Never mind."
"Seamus, how are we gonna go to the front door?"
"Pull through.." The two of them enter the car through the passenger side. They scoot themselves to the other side of the car and exit the car.
"You guys know that you can go through the garage, right?" A voice called to them. It was May, talking with a familiar person. "Girls and Seamus, this is... Lyra.."
Twilight gasps, "Lyra?!" She wore May's shirt, replacing the other clothes.
"Twilight?!" Lyra responded, "Is that you?"
"Y-Yeah... I..."
"Never expected to see another pony here?" Lyra said, finishing her sentence.
"Y-Yeah... And..."
"How did I get here?"
"...Yeah"
May looks at both Lyra and Twilight, "I'm guessing.... you two've met?"
"Yeah," Twilight said, "I... I guess I have some explaining to do."
"Yup." May said. "I'll call everyone else..."
"Everyone else?" Twilight asked.
Everyone is inside the kitchen, drinking tea and hot chocolate on the table. Seamus places the tea kettle on the table with a few cups around. Everyone is waiting for Lyra to come downstairs from her shower. Everyone talks about Lyra.
"So..." Kevin said, "There's this new person that's living with you guys?"
"Eeyup." Seamus said.
"Well, aside from Twilight living with you guys, who else is living here?"
"Didn't you guys see the car? Still parked outside? In front of our porch?" May said.
"Literally?" Phil asked.
"Literally..." May confirmed.
"Damn... Must've been on her period." Kevin rudely commented. The boys laughed at his comment, May splashes the tea onto Kevin's face. His face turned serious as the tea burned his face, not showing emotion. "...Thanks Babe.."
"Your welcome, love." May said, sarcastically.
Lyra walks downstairs to the kitchen. Her green and white hair flowed as she combed her hair. She wore some a green tank top and Spongebob pajamas. "Hi!" Lyra stuck her hand out to Kevin and Phil. "The name is Lyra. What's yours?"
Phil and Kevin shook her hand, "Hello Lyra. We're Philip and Kevin, we're friends with Twilight." Phil said.
Kevin sips his drink, "So, I hear you and Twilight are... ponies?"
"Yup!"
"Your serious?" Phil asked.
"Serious. I'm a pony."
"Ok."
May is surprised at how serious they took the situation. "What? Your serious? You guys are seriously believing her without questions?" She ranted.
"Well, I can't ask to such a pretty face." Kevin said to Lyra.
May places her hands onto her face. "God Damn it, Kevin..." May takes Seamus' cup of tea and splashes onto Kevin's face again. His face did not twitch from the hot tea.
"Ain't gonna work. I'm almost immune to pain, honey." Kevin said to May, confident of his word.
"Really?" Lyra pinches Kevin on the cheek, he did not move a muscle to the pinch. "Wow! Your true to your word."
"See? Told ya."
Twilight pounds her fist onto the table. "Guys! We're going off topic here. Aren't you guys at the very least skeptical about us?"
"Yeah, just ignore Kevin, he's just a bother." May added.
"Okay... Twilight! I guess we'er already past introductions... Do you have any proof you two are ponies?"
Lyra places a book onto the table. The book was old and had mysterious texts on it. "It's an old book of ancient spells that us ponies can't use. These spells were used during the Battle of Dragon Hill."
"Dragon Hill? You sure you didn't make it up?" Phil said.
"Yeah, Dragon Hill. We used dangerous spells against some Griffins who wanted to conquer Equestria. This was before Princess Celestia's reign."
Seamus clears his throat, "Hmm... Sounds like a legitimate reason to have one of these."
"Oh yeah, Twilight." Lyra called to Twilight, she pulls out a scroll from the book. "A letter from the Princess."
Twilight is surprised at scroll. "Wow! I can't believe it! This even has Princess Celestia's seal."
"She told me to give it to you. And use it if you don't really believe me that I'm Lyra. Read it, it's most urgent."
Twilight opens the scroll, she reads aloud the message. "'Dear Twilight, I have heard you have gone missing and have heard that you are in the human world. As you might have already known, in the human world, there is no way for you to use magic. The only way you can return home is if we gather enough ponies to think of a way to bring you back. Since you guys are here....' We have to gather as much information as possible?"
"Yup. We have to. Princess Celestia said so."
"Oh no... I don't know how to collect any data."
"What about that journal?" May reminded her.
"Oh yeah!" Twilight was reminded of her journal, "We could use that to collect data and what we know of humans! Thanks May."
"Don't mention it... I guess."
"So, I guess you two are actually ponies?" Phil asked.
"Yup." Both girls said.
"Alright, seems legit, I believe you."
"So, all of us agree that they are ponies?"
"Agreed." Everyone said.
"Ok! May ordered pizza and alcohol for the party. She also bought salad for you two, since you can't eat meat. Is that ok with you?" Seamus said.
"Sure!"
30 minutes after, the doorbell rang, May opened the door. It was the delivery guy, he wore a red uniform and a fanny-pack with a hat. He carried ten boxes of pizza, four salad bowls and had a nasal voice. "Hello ma'am! That'll be $34.90!" May gives him a thirty-five dollars, with him keeping the change. She takes the pizzas off of him and closes the door as he walked away.
"Pizzas are here!" May shouted.
"Huzzah!!!" Everyone else shouted, beside the ponies*.
May walks up to the ponies, "Ok, I know you guys can't eat meat, right? I ordered a couple of salad bowls for you, is that alright?" The ponies agreed to the decision. Seamus takes a few boxes and opens one, "Seamus, don't take the whole box, you fatass!"
"Kevin, turn on the radio." Phil ordered. Kevin turns on the radio, its on 102.4, the Box, which plays classic rock and love songs. The station played a love song, which Kevin started to dance with May. "Damn, never knew you were into May."
"What? I can't have fun with my ex?" Kevin said rhetorically.
"Sheesh, can't believe Kevin dated your sister, Seamus." Phil said to Seamus
"I know.. But at least she was happy." Seamus walks over to Twilight, "May I have this dance?" He said, to Twilight, she blushes.
"Certainly." Twilight gave her hand to Seamus as they danced.
Phil and Lyra sit next to each other as they played a game of Texas Hold 'Em as they eat. The whole night, they spent dancing, eating and having fun. As they burned the midnight oil, the fun died down around 3:29 at night. Spike walks downstairs from Twilight's room.
"*yawn* Oh man, what's with all the ruckus?" Spike sees Twilight sleeping on the couch next to Seamus. Kevin and May kissing in one corner of the kitchen, with a couple of bottles of alcohol. Lyra and Phil talk about instruments and watched music videos of bands on YouTube. The time was 3:39. "Nothing out of the ordinary!" Spike goes back to Twilight's room and continues to sleep.
Side Notes
*If I ever refer to Twilight and Lyra, or any future ponies that come to the human world. They will be referred to as "The Ponies".
Lyra is the newest addition to the group, aside from Twilight arriving just one week ago. When the other residents are gone for school, she stays home, waiting for everyone to come back. She routinely watches the television for what the Humans are doing, other than that, she goes outside to see what humans do and mimic them. She would enter Downtown Oakvale and walk around until the Mayor's office. She would take the route into Downtown Oakvale by a bridge and pass a couple of restaurants.
One day, she took a new route to see other buildings and found a small thrift store. She took a look inside, at her right was a Toxic Barrel prop with the words, 'TOXIC', painted on. To her left, she saw a drum set and a vacuum cleaner. She entered further into the shop to find other assorted materials.
"Hello! May I help you?" A womanly voice said, It was one of the shopkeepers.
"Oh, no. I'm ok." Lyra said.
"Ok, if you need anything. Just ask." The shopkeeper leaves Lyra to her doing.
Lyra looks deeper around the thrift store. She saw assorted items such as woodworking equipment, a couple of electric guitars and many 12" records. From her curiosity, she picked up a guitar and plucked a string, producing a small flicking sound. The shopkeeper walks towards her, "Do you want to use the amp? I can hook it up if you want."
"Oh no, that's alright. Thank you." The shopkeeper leaves again, sitting on her desk. She plucks another string, producing another sound. She does this for five minutes, then three guitar strings broke. "Uh Oh" She places down the guitar and tells the shopkeeper of the incident. She does not mind it and will fix it at a later day.
Lyra looks around again to find an open door with many shiny objects inside. "Hey, may I go inside and look?" She said to the shopkeeper.
"Uhhhmm... Sure!" Lyra walks inside the room, it was very dusty and the backdoor was opened. Two other shopkeepers came inside and walked passed her, saying "Good Afternoons". A big flash of light comes from the backdoor, it was a man bringing large harp. The harp was made of Redwood, the column and soundboard all scratched, but the strings were intact.
"Excuse me," She grabbed the attention of the man, "May I see it?"
"Um, yeah." He places down the harp inside the store and gives Lyra a stool. "Ya know how to play this thing, ma'am?"
"Um.. Yeah" Lyra said, not confident with herself. She thinks inside her head, "Maybe my new 'hooves' can play this thing." She places her hands on each side of the harp. She begins to play the harp, grabbing the attention of everyone in the store. She loses herself in the music and goes on to play for ten minutes, everyone records her on their phones as she plays.
She looks around as she slows down as she plays, noticing everyone. "What are you people doing? Are you taking my soul?" People laughed as she made that comment, "What's going on?"
"Dude, you were playing and you went all out when you played." A teenage boy explained to her, "You were playing on that like you knew what it was. That shit was swag."
"Swag?"
"Yeah. That shit was boss! Do it again!"
"Oh... Um, thanks?" Lyra looks at the clock, it was 2:39. "Oh no, I'm sorry, but I must go. I need to get home."
Everyone was disappointed to see her go. "Awww, come on! One more time! Before you leave." Others soon followed with wanting an encore. Lyra apologizes for the sudden leave and runs back to her house. The crowd began to disperse after her leave.
It was 3 and everyone just gotten home from school. Lyra lays down on the couch, watching television, thinking about what happened. Twilight and May enter the living room, throwing their backpacks onto the ground.
"*yawn* Hey Lyra, how was your day?" May said in a drowsy mood.
"Nothing much, just watched some of this television."
"You know, Lyra, your not gonna get any information if you just stay at the house and watch television."
"I know..." She pauses, flipping through channels, "I... I just like to watch....Tr..Transform...ers!"
Twilight sits down on the rug, "So. What's this about you and a harp?"
"A what?" Lyra asked.
"A harp. You were playing a harp and.... 'you were swaggin'.."
"Oh... Well, that must've been a different person." Her face began to turn red, playing with her hair.
"She had green hair, Lyra. There's no pony-- I mean, person, with green hair besides you."
"Well... Maybe there was someone who looked like me...?"
"May. May I borrow your phone?" Twilight uses May's phone to go to the YouTube app. She searches for 'Green haired girl playing the harp'. The video shows Lyra, sitting on the stool, playing the harp.
"Ok, so it was me. But how can you even tell, huh?" Lyra asked.
Twilight moves her hair with her hand, revealing a small earring with a particular design. The earring is the same exact design of Twilight's cutie mark. "I don't think you knew, but when we went inside the human world, our magic have gone away. But our cutie marks stayed onto us, as an earring." She removes one earring to show Lyra. "You got lost in the music and showed your earring when your hair moved around." Twilight gave her a mirror to see.
"Oh... Wow, I didn't know. When did you learn of this?"
"This morning as a fell asleep in one class."
"Twilight? Falling asleep in class?"
"What? I never knew human school was different from magic school."
The next day, Lyra walked to the same thrift store, the harp in the exact same spot. The woman shopkeeper noticed her and smiled, "Hey! You were amazing yesterday. Why'd you leave?"
"Oh, you know. Just some things I had to do. Hehe."
"You wanna use the harp again? Go ahead."
"Oh! Thank You."
Lyra walks over to the harp, sitting down onto the stool. She begins to play the harp slower than yesterday's performance. The store was filled with Lyra's harp, it reached outside of the store. Nearby listeners went inside the store, either buying or listening to Lyra play. An employee from a bar and grill across the street heard her play, telling his boss on the phone.
It was 2:00, Lyra was taking a break from playing and was talking to a carpenter. She talked to him about repairing the harp. He agreed to do it for free, if Lyra plays the harp for his girlfriend, she accepted as well.
The door opens, a woman in gray business-wear approaches Lyra. The woman was old with brown hair, she was Hispanic, but with an American accent. She even had a cigarette in her mouth. "Hello, are you this 'Green Haired Girl' all over YouTube?"
"Um... Yes?" The carpenter walks out of the store, jumping in excitement and joy.
"We need to talk." Both Lyra and old woman walked across the street, to one of the tables outside of the bar and grill. "Lyra, I have seen your videos, and I would like to ask you a question." She clears her throat, "How would you like to work with us, you'll be our harpist on those lovely nights under the stars. People pay lotsa money for that."
"Um... Ma'am?"
"Oh, call me Mrs. Garcia." She puffs smoke onto Lyra's face. "I'm sorry, Lyra."
"I.. *cough* It's ok... Now, *cough* Mrs. Garcia. *cough*" She begins to cough nonstop.
"Hey! Cyril!" Mrs. Garcia shouted, calling on Cyril the waiter. "Get Lyra some water." Cyril runs inside to get water, then comes back outside. Lyra drinks the water, her cough stopped.
"Thank you." Lyra takes a deep breath, "Now, Mrs. Garcia. I don't know about doing this, I mean, I love playing the harp, but I don't want to do it for your... pay."
"Why not? Being a harpist in our bar and grill is worth doing. You get $80 an hour, paid vacation, you get to eat free. Plus, you only have to work on requests and nightly. So, if you were to play at night for a romantic couple, that would make you $80 richer!" Mrs. Garcia inhales, then exhales two smoke circles at the sky. "So... What'dya say?"
"Hmmm, I don't know."
Mrs. Garcia, determined to get her, begins to get desperate. "Lyra, do it. You might not be in it for the money, but we will support you with many items for you. We could get you a dress, a hair stylist, maybe a new harp! What'dya say to that?"
Lyra is confused whether to accept or decline the offer. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Garcia." She stands up, "I'll have to think about it."
"That's ok, Lyra." Mrs. Garcia takes out a business card from her suit pocket. "Here's my number. If you want to take the job, just call me." Lyra takes the card.
"Thank you." She walks away, back into the thrift store.
Later that day, she talks to May and Seamus. She gives them cups of coffee to show her appreciation towards them. They exchange words of gratitude and await for further items.
"Lyra... What're buttering us up for?" Seamus asked, sipping his coffee.
"Buttering you up?"
"Well, your giving us these things. You must be wanting something from us." May said.
"Ok. You got me." Lyra sits down on a chair. "I think both of you have seen the video of that 'Green haired girl with the harp', right?" Both nod their heads. "Well, have you seen the harp I've played in that video? I want that."
"Hmm... I dunno, how much does it cost?" Seamus asked.
"About... $300."
Seamus looks at May, "Sister, do you have $300?"
May sighs at Seamus, "God damn it. Gotta learn to stop carrying cash."
"We'll pay." Seamus said. "But we'll bring Kevin. Use him as a pack mule."
It was Friday after school, May, Kevin and the ponies walk to the thrift store. They see the harp outside of the store, repaired and clean. Lyra ran up to it, showing everyone the harp she wants to buy. The harp was in very good condition, the column and soundboard had no scratches.
"Wow! Haven't seen a harp like that." Twilight said.
"I know. It's so much different than the ones in Equestria." May gives Lyra $300 to pay for the harp. "Thank you, May."
"No problem."
Lyra enters the store, like a boy in a candy store. She walks over to the shopkeeper, "I'd like to buy that harp."
"$300, please." The shopkeeper says.
Lyra gives her the 300 dollars, in exchange for the receipt. Lyra looks outside the store window, the others were standing outside, waiting if she bought it. Lyra gives them a thumbs up, they begin to lift it off the stand. May places the harp onto Kevin's back, using him as a pack mule.
"Fuck! This is heavy.." Kevin struggles to keep the harp intact. "Who's idea was this?"
"Stop whining. At least your not doing homework, right?" May said.
"Son of a bitch..."
Kevin carries the harp all the way back to the house. He places dismantles it, then reassembles it in the living room. Lyra was happy to see the harp actually inside for all to see.
"So... Where's my payment?" Kevin places an open hand out.
May reaches over to kiss Kevin's cheek. "There's your gift."
"A kiss on the cheek?"
"Would you rather not get paid at all?"
Kevin does not answer back. "Alright, fine." He leaves the house, walking back home.
May looks at the harp, fascinated at the size. "Wow, I really hope you can play this thing."
"Oh don't worry, I can." Lyra sits down on the stool, playing the harp. Twilight and Seamus hears noise coming from their rooms, walking downstairs to see. They see Lyra playing the harp, losing herself in the music again. Spike comes inside from the backyard, watching her play the harp. She played through the whole night, on the harp, playing endlessly.
Later that night, Lyra wrote in her journal.
Dear Princess Celestia, I have found Twilight, along with many friends of hers. She has grown accustomed to their clothing and way of life. The texts I've read about humans are far different. I do not see any "evil menace" or "dangerous creatures", all I see are nice people. I also found a harp in this strange store. I was able to achieve what they call, "money", to buy it. I also found out that our cutie marks, they're hidden. To be specific, they are these, "earrings", and "bracelets". I hope to come home again. I think Bon Bon is still hiding from me.

Back in Ponyville, Bon Bon is hiding under Lyra's bed. Patiently waiting for her arrival, she hears the noise of an owl. "Hello? Lyra? Are you home?" Bon Bon is too scared to exit under the bed.
It was a Wednesday and the gang were sitting down, eating lunch. School had ended early, so they decided to stop at a family owned restaurant nearby. The store was owned by an old friend of May's who moved away, because of college, but comes by to visit. It was named, "Toreno's Big Philly and Fries", it was named for their famous giant Philly Cheese Steaks and their giant fries.
Inside, the format looked like a copy of the diners in the 1950's, even had a little jukebox in a corner, still functional. In another corner, there stands a computer, customer use only. The owner, Pete Toreno always gave anyone a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich to anyone new to his restaurant, on the house.
The gang, consisting of; Seamus, Twilight, Lyra, Phil, Kevin, and May, sitting near the jukebox, laughing and socializing. Twilight and Lyra refused to eat the Philly Cheese sandwich, but took the fries instead.
"So.." Kevin interrupted, "Why aren't you girls eating the cheese steak?"
"Well, it's not that we don't like it..." Twilight struggles to find the words, not offending anyone, "Both of us are..."
"We can't eat meat." Lyra intervened.
"Yeah, We can't eat meat!" Twilight continued.
"Why not?" Kevin pursued.
"Well... We're forbidden to eat it."
"Forbidden?"
Seamus enters the conversation, "It's because their ponies. Ponies don't eat meat."
Kevin began to laugh hysterically, his laughter filling the restaurant. Silence was everywhere, the gang felt awkward to be around him. The ponies look at Kevin seriously, "Oh.. You're serious... I'm sorry."
"It's ok, Kevin. You probably didn't listen when they introduced themselves." May said, patting him on the head.
"I'm not your dog." Kevin yelled. He faces towards the ponies, "So.. How did you two get here anyway?"
Twilight clears her throat to tell her story. "Well, it goes like this. I'm a unicorn, I deal with magic. I was walking around Canterlot and I heard some..." Twilight paused.
"What's wrong?" Kevin asked.
"Nothing, It's kinda hard to say either somebody or somepony, since I'm... You know what, never mind." She continues on with her story. "Well, I heard some ponies talk about this hidden realm of humans. I heard that you.. people.... were just some old mumbo-jumbo made up from some old ponies tale. I'd taken notes on human behavior and what happens with this and other things." Twilight takes a break, sipping her soda.
"So? What else?" Kevin asked, the others ganged around Twilight to hear more.
"Well...." She takes another sip, "Well, one day, I made a wish that I'd go to this human realm since my curiosity couldn't take it anymore. But it was a big mistake for me."
"Elaborate." May interrupted.
"Well, you know how unicorns have horns? Well, my horn was gone--" Twilight is interrupted.
"Hehe, horn--AHH!" Kevin gets punched by May on his back. "That hurt, May.." Crying for mercy.
"Good..." May responded, ignoring his cry for mercy.
"Anyway..." Twilight continued again, "I lost my horn, so with my magic, so I was unable to turn back. Anyway, I'm stuck here with you guys. I wanna go home to meet my other pony friends, but I don't know how."
"Huh... Sounds legitimate..." Kevin said, "But like... how would you know? Like how'd you know you don't have your horn?"
"Well, thinking back, I had this dream of being back in Ponyville, I found my friends trying to find me. They all went to the Everfree forest to ask a Zebra, Zecora, to help them. They found out that I was in the human world and saw this... horrific.. transformation I went through... But then again, it was only a dream..."
"Hmm... A zebra? I thought it was only full of ponies and unicorns." Kevin is getting skeptical
"Not really, there's also pegasi, griffins and dragons. Spike is a baby dragon and my assistant."
"That reminds me!" Seamus interrupted, "Why didn't you bring Spike? It's kinda against the rules to leave your... 'child' ... at your home, unattended.
"Don't worry, he's been alone at my house before. He usually reads or cleans the library." Twilight said, reassuring them.
May follows suit with Seamus, trampling Twilight with questions. "But... isn't that child labor?"
"Your laws are so different back in Equestria." Twilight said, trying to change the subject.
"Don't try to change the subject, Twi! Tell us!" Seamus said.
"Look, I thought we we're talking about how Twilight got here, not parenting." Kevin said.
"Your right, continue Twilight." May backs off of Twilight.
"Um... Yeah, so Spike is my assistant and helps me. I know he's a child, but he can handle things all by himself." Twilight said.
"Alright, let's hear your story... Ly.." Kevin has trouble remembering the other's name.
"Lyra." She said.
"Anyway, Lyra, How'd you get here?"
"Yeah! How did you get here?" Asked Twilight.
Lyra thought for a moment, "Well, aside from that accident with your car. I came from Equestria, I didn't come to the human world like what Twilight did though. I came by finding this mysterious stone tower. I fell into this well and woke up in a pile of junk."
"Wait, stone tower?" Twilight interrupted. "I haven't heard of a stone tower in Equestria anywhere."
"Well," Lyra continued, "The tower was deep inside the Everfree forest. That's where I found my books and notes on humans! The notes say that they are savage, ruthless, bloodthirsty creatures that spread hate. But I don't see any of you guys doing that!"
"You're saying we're Savage, ruthless, bloodthirsty creatures?" Kevin turned his head to the side.
"Well, those are other humans. You guys are different, your nice and helpful... and not mean and... evil... and scary." Lyra said, becoming distracted by passing cars.
"You at a loss for words?" Phil asked.
"Oh, no. I just got distracted. Sorry."
"You know, I'm starting to think that either one of you is lying, or the whole thing doesn't make sense." Seamus says.
"How so?" Twilight asked.
Seamus clarifies, "Well, Twilight said that she 'wished' herself here. Lyra went inside a tower and magically teleported here. Doesn't that not make any sense?"
"Maybe it could be like some sort of magical entity. This "Equestria" place has magical things like dragons, unicorns, pegasus. Hell, it could have the Loch Ness Monster or magical chocolate sailor person! I mean, since it's all magical and stuff, they could just teleport here, or-- or summoned a troll to destroy this 'Canterlot' place." Kevin stared down at Seamus as his face gave a very stressed 'If Looks could kill' look.
Everyone turned to Kevin, "Dude... are you high?"
"Nope.." Seamus looked directly into Kevin's eyes. His eyes were bright red all around the cornea. Kevin sat idly by, not paying attention to what was happening.
Lyra continues with her story, "...Anyway, when I got here, I found myself in human junk and bird waste. We walked to find a family and they took us home. We needed to deliver the message to Twilight and... I think you can fill in the rest."
Twenty minutes pass, everyone leaves the restaurant at 5:39. The sun was starting to set and they needed to get home. Everyone said their goodbyes and drove back home. Outside, they watched the sun as it went down to the west. The Seamus, May and the ponies drove to the beach to watch the sky turn to dusk, exiting out of the car.
May and Lyra take a walk on the beach to explore the place. Seamus stays at the car, waiting for the others to come back. Twilight sits on the roof of the car, looking at the sky. The night sky began to show stars and lights from a nearby boardwalk.
"Wow! The sky is beautiful!" Twilight is amazed at the sight of the stars.
"I know, it really is. You never see days like these back in your land?" Seamus wonders, climbing onto the roof.
"Yes, but this sky is more wonderful than ours." Twilight looks at a constellation, "Ooh! What's that? It looks like a person!"
"Oh, that's Orion! See?" Seamus points to certain stars, showing her the parts of Orion. He pulls out a telescope to help Twilight out. "See, that star there? That's Sirius and Aldebaran! That forms his belt."
Twilight looks at both Sirius and Aldebaran, seeing Orion's belt. "Oh my! I never knew that!" Twilight sees a flying object pass through Orion's belt. "Oh wow! Shooting stars!"
"Shooting stars, eh? Why not make a wish?"
"A wish, I don't know..." Twilight thinks of a something, "I wish..."
"Don't say it out loud, think in your head. It'll come true."
"Ok" Twilight thinks about her friends in Equestria, then her new friends in the human world. She thinks of Applejack and Rarity and Pinkie Pie, then she thinks of Seamus. She begins to feel her heart beat faster and faster. She stops thinking and quickly looks at Seamus.
Seamus looks at Twilight, having a calm, collective face. "So.. Did you make your wish?"
"Yup!"
"Want to tell me?"
"Nope. It'll ruin my wish."
Twenty minutes after the shooting stars fell, Lyra and May come back to the car, carrying soda and food. They see Twilight and Seamus make sandcastles on the beach, playing with water guns.
Seamus sees the girls coming back from the walk, "Hey! Twilight, there are intruders in our area. Shoot them!"
"Aye Aye, Captain!" Twilight giggled, she shoots water at the May and Lyra as they came back.
May and Lyra ran to the nearest shelter they could find. "Hey! Hey! Quit it! We brought food!"
"You may proceed!" Seamus shouted to them, taking the food and drink.
Twilight puts down the water gun. "Hey, how was your walk?"
"It was nice, bought some food. Thought we'd try something new." Lyra said.
Seamus sees a small container with a familiar smell. "May, did you order Thai food?"
"WHAT DO YOU THINK?!" May shouted in his ear, getting revenge for earlier.
"Geez, that was loud." Seamus pointed out the obvious.
Twilight opens the container, smelling it. "Oh God! The smell is horrible."
"It's curry, Twilight." May said.
"Curry?"
"Try some." May offers her a spoon to try.
Twilight takes a sip, at first nothing, then a spicy sensation. "AAH! That's spicy. But it tastes good." Twilight drank some soda from a cup.
"Sure does! Here." May poured a bowl of curry and gave it to Twilight.
"Wait, I see some meat in there!" Twilight gave back the bowl. May took the bowl and used a small spoon to take the meat out of the curry, then gives it back. "Thanks."
They spent the whole night on the beach, playing and eating. They built a campfire from trash they had in the car and wood in the trunk of the car. Seamus turned on the car radio to play some music, setting the mood. Lyra and May watched the nearby boardwalk on the car roof. Twilight one Seamus' books, The Catcher in The Rye, inside the car where she found it.
Twilight later wrote in her journal before sleeping in Seamus' car.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today, we had to reveal ourselves. We told the humans that we were ponies. Fortunately for us, they did not try to kill us or do anything with us. However, they were very interested about us. Later on, we decided to have some fun on a beach. Then we had some Thai food, there were some meat, but I didn't eat them. We know to NOT to eat meat. Other than that, I made a wish on a shooting star.
Princess Luna gazes outside, from a tower, as the yellow sun sets another day. Another day has passed that Twilight and Luna have gone to the human world. Everypony begins to shut off work and call it a night. Shining Armor is by Luna's side, keeping her company.
"Princess, what shall we do? We have two ponies and a dragon go into the world of humans. Shouldn't we have found a way to get them back by now?" Shining Armor paced around the tower walls.
"I do not know, Shining Armor. But I know that we are currently finding as many ponies as we can." Luna reassured him, staring at the sun. "I hope somepony will help us." She said under her breath.
"But it's been a month since she's been gone. I'm getting worried!"
"I know, Shining Armor. You are Twilight Sparkle's brother. But we must wait!"
"What good is WAITING going to do?!" Shining Armor shouted in grief, holding back the aggression.
Luna is shocked, she begins to shout back. "HOW DARE YOU SHOUT AT ROYALTY!" Her shout caught him off guard, knocking him down.
Shining Armor is quiet, "...My apologies, Princess Luna.." He bows down in front of her. "I wish for your forgiveness, Princess."
"All is forgiven.. I understand what you're going through." Her voice quiets down to normal.
"Thank you, Princess."
"Possibly tomorrow, we will have at least one pony willing to help..." Princess Luna begins to walk to the castle. "Come, Shining Armor, you must rest now. I will keep watch now."
"Yes, Princess. Thank You."
The next morning, three mysterious ponies enter Camelot. Rumors spread of how they are the strongest beings in Equestria, in magic. Words spread fast to the guards, and into the ears of a Royal Pony Messenger. The messenger quickly gallops back to the castle to alert the Princess of an arrival of new ponies.
The messenger reaches the Princess' room, getting her attention. "Princess Celestia! Princess Celestia!"
"What is it, Royal Messenger?" She looks into the messenger's eyes, he is tired and surprised.
"Your Highness, there have been three special ponies in Equestria. They say they are the strongest ponies, in magic. Maybe they can help with bringing back two back?" He said in a hurried way.
"Hmm..." She thinks for a minute, "Quite possibly they are here to help us.... yet, they might not." Celestia begins to pace herself around the room.
Shining Armor burst open the doors, "Princess Celestia, three ponies want your company."
Princess Celestia stops her pacing, "Who are they?"
"Three Unicorns. All claiming to be strong."
She is not surprised, "Let them in."
"Yes!" Shining Armor exists the room. Three unicorns enter the room, wearing a red cloak, with a gold amulet around ones neck. Shining Armor comes back also. "Here they are."
Celestia took the time to make a joke, "Wow, I never expected the Spanish Inquisition.."
"Ha ha ha. We've heard that joke before." One of the ponies said sarcastically. "Dear Princess Celestia." All of the ponies wearing the cloaks bow down. "We are hear to answer your cry for powerful beings."
The Princess became serious. "Alright then.. All joking aside.. What can you do?"
One of the ponies removes his hood, begins to show images from his horn. "We three are powerful in magic. We elevate cities and castles in a matter of seconds. We have calmed many angry dragons from consuming all of the gems and minerals. We threw back the Griffins even before you were born, my Princess!" He looks at the Princess with his staff glowing bright red, two guards are on their guard, ready to defend. "Princess! We three siblings are the strongest of any pony there is! What can't we do?" He asked her rhetorically.
"At ease!" Shining Armor shouted through the hall.
"The three of you... What are your names?"
"I... I am Bloodhoof!" Bloodhoof conjures a giant scepter into his right hoof. He was red in color with a gray mane. "The other two are Seren and Avalon." Both remove their hoods, both having a long white mane and a light blue body type.
"Hello.." They both said to the Princess.
"Greetings, Avalon and Seren. Will you help us retrieve the lost?"
"Yes.." Both said monotonously.
"Thank you, Avalon and Seren."
Bloodhoof looks at Celestia, "Princess, in order to use our magic, we must have a wide open field."
"Explain to me why?.."
"Me, Avalon and Seren are the most powerful beings in all of the land. We plan to open a portal, big enough to send in one pony in, but return with a mass amount of items or beings. Such as your precious student. But she has to be very fast and willing to do the job." Bloodhoof explained. "Unfortunately, the moment I open the portal; it will open quickly and swallow anything nearby; growing in a dangerously increasing rate. The two sisters will stabilize the portal with magic."
"And where do you plan to open this mystical entity? This.. portal?"
"The courtyard."
Princess Celestia begins to doubt Bloodhoof, "I don't know.."
Avalon stands up, "Princess, do you want to see your precious student again?"
"Yes, but.."
Seren interrupts Celestia, "But what?"
"I do not want to risk losing another pony.." The Princess said
"You would rather save the life of other ponies, but not the ones trapped in the other world? The humans in that world are SCUM! They are filthy, evil, deceiving, twisted scum!" Seren shouted at the Princess, showing her anger.
"I know, but.." Princess Celestia was interrupted again
"But nothing! Think of this, your little Twilight... She might be abused right now! Lyra... she probably is being ripped open and eaten by them! And this Spike! By now, he could be sold into slavery and is physically abused!" Seren looks into Celestia's eyes.
The Princess is terrified of the thought, "No.... They can't...."
"Look!" Seren stomped her hoof, she conjures an image of Twilight covered in blood, "Look at her! She is suffering from her wounds. Her abusers beat her everyday and threaten to kill her everyday if any mistakes were made!"
"Oh my... My..." Celestia is speechless. "I... I don't know what to say.."
"Think carefully... Would you like to see everypony in Equestria, die or sold into slavery by these... filthy humans?" Seren leaves the room with that question.
Bloodhoof and Avalon follow Seren out of the door. Bloodhoof looks back at the Princess, who is still speechless, "Princess! We will return tomorrow... Choose which pony will be inside the realm of the humans." The three ponies leave the castle grounds.
"Shining Armor..." The Princess spoke.
"Yes?"
"Call Twilight's friends."
"Understood, where are they to await you?"
"In the courtyard... Tell them to meet me immediately."
Celestia awaits the others in the courtyard, waiting for them to appear at the castle doors. Celestia's began to worry more of Twilight. Her mind has been warped by the image of Twilight's demise. She began to rethink of sending another pony into the human world.
The castle guards blew the horns, notifying Celestia that the guests have arrived. AJ and RD were the leaders of the remaining Mane 6. AJ walked up to Celestia, looking straight in her eyes, the eyes of desperation.
"Princess! We've came as soon as we came--" AJ looked into her desperate eyes. "What'sa matter?" AJ asked.
"It's... nothing..."
"Well, alright.. I guess.. So what ya call us for?"
"I think at least one of you have heard of rumors about.... 3 newcomers."
"3 Newcomers? We should throw a party for them!" Pinkie said with glee.
Celestia looks at Pinkie, "No Pinkie, its not important now." She looks towards the others, "You all probably heard of what they can do or what they are, so I will hurry... They will create giant.. portal, but need only one pony to enter."
"Who's goin' through?" AJ asked in curiosity.
"Rainbow Dash..."
Everypony gasped as she was chosen, "But... But why me?" RD questioned.
"Rainbow Dash.. You are the most loyal and the bravest pony in Ponyville. Maybe in all of Equestria!"
"Well... I.. Thank you, Princess. But I don't know if I'm ready!" RD is worried.
"I'm sorry, but you must be ready by sunrise tomorrow.. Meet me here again..."
The sun begins to set on the land, the stars beginning to shine. Everyone waits at the train station for the next train back to Equestria. Rainbow Dash is silent around her friends, thinking clearly about why she was chosen.
"Why? Why do I have to go?" Rainbow Dash asked to herself.
"We don't know, but all we know is that she needs ya." AJ tried to be sympathetic. "I'm sorry, Rainbow. If it's anythin', we're gonna to miss ya very much."
Rainbow smiles a bit, "Thanks, Applejack. I'll miss you too."
Pinkie begins to cry, "*sob* I'll miss you Rainbow Dash! We should throw you a.. *sob* going away party!"
Rainbow tilts her head back, "It's ok, Pinkie. I don't need one."
Rarity stands up, "Rainbow Dash! Before you go to the other world, I'll make a design so special-- it'll keep you protected from those filthy humans!" Everyone laughs at Rarity, "Quiet! All of you! We're losing another friend and you laugh at moi?"
Rainbow Dash stopped laughing, "Ok Rarity, I get it. I'll wear your stinking dress."
The group talked and laughed throughout the night as they waited for the train. They wait and wait, long enough that they all fell asleep. The train finally came along at midnight, but they never woke up to enter the train.
The next morning, Rainbow Dash had awaken from her sleep. She looks at the sky, watching the birds fly by as the sun began to appear. A tear comes out of her eye.
"I'm gonna miss ya, blue Equestrian sky.." Rainbow Dash whispered as she sheds a tear. She looks back at her friends one last time. She flies off to the castle to meet with Princess Celestia and the others. She thought to herself, "Wow... I can't believe I'm gonna go to the human world. But I don't know If I'm ever gonna come back to this place ever.." She stops and takes a look back at the train station one last time before resuming her flight.
Rainbow Dash enters the courtyard, she sees Princess Celestia with the other three. Rainbow did not show fear or regret, she was ready to pass on to the other side. Seren and Avalon stood opposite, on the castle walls, across each other as they awaited for Bloodhoof's commands.
Bloodhoof walked towards Rainbow Dash, "Are you ready to move on?" He asked. Rainbow Dash was about to speak, but her friends came in at the nick of time, cheering for her. "What in the...?"
Her friends ran up to her, holding many gifts for Rainbow. "Here Rainbow, I just gotten this done for you!" Rarity gave her a blue shirt with her cutie mark on it.
Rainbow Dash was surprised, "Wow! You made this?" She wore the shirt immediately.
"Yup! All for you!"
"Honestly, I thought you'd make it all something with jewels on it."
"I would, but I wouldn't want those filthy humans touching Equestrian Diamonds!"
Pinkie gave Rainbow a cupcake, "Here!" Pinkie smiles as she gives her the cupcake. She turns away, talking under her breath, "I made it out of clouds and magic... and blood!" She laughed maniacally.
Everyone looks at Pinkie Pie in awkward silence. "Ya alright there, pardner?" AJ asked.
"Uh huh!" Pinkie Pie nods her head fast, giving an innocent smile.
"Here's the others! We're gonna miss ya, so here they are!" AJ gave Rainbow a big bottle of Granny Smith's Apple Cider. Fluttershy gave her a stuffed pony.
"A stuffed pony?" Rainbow asked Fluttershy.
"Well, you know, it'll keep you safe at night.."
"Aww, thanks everyone! I'll keep these safe with me!" Rainbow grasped onto Granny Smith's bottle of Apple Cider, but soon dropped it. "Uh.. Oh well! At least, I can have the shirt!"
"Y... Yeah.."
Rainbow Dash looked towards Bloodhoof, "Alright! I'm ready!"
Bloodhoof turned around and conjured his staff. He began emit a red glow from his horn and staff. His staff emits a small portal onto the courtyard grounds. The portal soon became bigger, swallowing anything nearby. The guards flew up or ran to the castle walls, so did Celestia. Avalon and Seren emit a yellow glow from their horns, blasting magic on the portal, stabilizing it and preventing growth.
"Go!" Bloodhoof shouted. Rainbow Dash quickly jumped into the portal and disappeared almost immediately.
"Where'd Rainbow go?" AJ demanded from Bloodhoof.
"To the human world, she will not lose her flight ability, but will be transformed into a human. But I'm not certain.." Bloodhoof looked at the sky, "The sun seems to be nice today.. Maybe Rainbow Dash will come through safely there.."
After months of Twilight's human education and utter silliness from her friends, they have reached the final obstacle, finals week. Many times, the students were warned of the finals and to take it very seriously. Twilight, like many students, studied each day for the final, hoping to pass it. Seamus, like most students, tend to not study for the finals and hope for the best.
The day eventually came for finals. Every student, even Twilight, was worried that they might fail. Seamus and the gang are very calm and collected at their classes.
Twilight enters her 1st period class, awaiting her teacher to give the papers. Kevin and May sit in their spots, looking through their phone. "Ugh! What're they doing? Using their phones on a test? That's cheating!"
One of students sitting next to her leans over to her, "Actually, we can listen to music while we're doing the test."
"Oh.. really?" Twilight looks back at her friends, "Why didn't I get a phone yet?"
"Wanna use my phone?" The student takes out his iPhone from his pocket. "I can let you buy it. $100?"
"Hehehe, I'm sorry. But I don't really want to buy it. Besides, don't you need to use it?"
The student was persistent, "Actually, I have another phone on me. I don't really need this and I wanna sell it. So do you wanna buy it off of me? Free of charge!"
"Wait, didn't you just say that the phone costed $100 d--" Twilight thought for a minute, "Wait.. Maybe I can use this advantage and grab a free phone! No no.. I can't take a phone from him.."
"So what'll it be?"
"Let me think about it.." Twilight turned away and looked at the piece of paper at the ground.
Mrs. Walker came with a cart, "Ok! I have passed out the test in front of you! I hope you all brought a pencil, cause I don't have one.." Mrs. Walker looked tired and angry when she said that. "Ok! Go start!"
Everyone started ignoring what she said and started the test as soon as she passed out. Twilight was working off the easy questions, but was soon working on the hard ones. Twilight became stuck and did not know what to do. "Oh no.. I forgot to study the bones of the body!" She soon became very desperate and look at her neighbors' papers.
About 1 hour and 40 minutes later
Twilight finally finished her final.. as the last person of the whole class. Mrs. Walker took her paper and told her class to go outrside as the bell was about to ring.
The student with offering the phone came up to her, "So.. Wanna have my pho-- Oh ok, you left already.."
Twilight and Kevin walked to the Mr. Stagium's class, but to a surprise. Seamus was wearing a large trench coat, he ran up to Twilight and opened his coat. Twilight, thinking she was being attacked, close her eyes. Kevin chuckled at Seamus and Twilight.
"What? Why're you chuckling?" Twilight still had her eyes closed.
"Open your damn eyes, dumbass..." Kevin jokingly insulted.
Twilight opens her eyes, "Oh... wow... Haha.." She saw Seamus wearing clothes with sign that hung around his neck saying 'Boo!'.
"Hehe, sorry. I just wanted to do that."
Mr. Stagium sits on his seat, drinking his usual morning coffee. "Ok class... it's finals. There is an HTML file inside your personal folders. I named them all in special files, that way i can start your mornings with a little laugh." Stagium takes a sip from his coffee. "Like, let us say...I named DeVonte's folder, 'Crap', that'd be the special folder that he would look inside in for his final."
DeVonte raised his hand, "Sir, did you really name my folder 'Crap'?"
"No, I just used that word as an example."
Seamus began to laugh out of nowhere, "Oh man! Ok, that just made my day!"
Twilight looked at Seamus, "What did you name Seamus' folder, Stagium?"
Stagium poured more coffee into his cup, "Uh... I think I named it 'Mr. Stupid retard that doesn't get anything done'." Everyone in the class laughed heartfully.
"That's not very nice, Stagium."
"I know, I AM a nice guy. But I'm like Kevin and Seamus, I always curse and tell a bunch of toilet jokes. Besides, my wife and 2 kids don't really take me seriously when I do that." ,mnnmn
Kevin and Seamus looked at Stagium in amazement, "So you WERE listening to our everything!" Kevin placed his hand on the side of his head with his mouth open.
"Damn it, Kevin! I knew one of these days that he would hear us!" Seamus hits him on the shoulder, "Jackass!"
Stagium laughed drank coffee and placed his mug down. "Ok, seriously. Do the final now. You know where to go, now do it!"
After Stagium's little talk, everyone quickly went to their tests. The test was very long and was very time consuming for everyone. Twilight, like before, did the very easy ones first. Around the time she started on the hard questions, Kevin and Seamus had already finished with the test.
"What the? They're already done? Come on! They could not be finsihed already!" Twilight controlled her desperation of cheating and focused more on test on her computer. "You can do this Twilight! You can do this! You. Can. Do this!"
40 minutes later
Twilight enters her last answer and rejoices in excitement. Kevin and Seamus bring their chairs over to Twilight and whisper to each other. "Hey guys, how'd you do on the test?"
Kevin yawned, "Shit."
"Horrible." Seamus looks at the clock, "Damn... we still have around an hour left."
"What do you want to do then?" Twilight asked.
"I got a deck of cards and a stick." Kevin responded.
Twilight and Seamus stare at Kevin's items. "That's not a stick, Kevin."
"Then what is it?"
"A wooden spoon." Seamus said. He took the spoon and throws it towards Stagium's way.
Stagium sees the wooden spoon coming towards him and ducks under his desk as he screamed like a little girl. The kids looked at Stagium as he is wonder the desk. He looked up, with a sturdy voice, he screamed. "Hey! Who threw that wooden spoon at me!"
Seamus pointed to Kevin. "He did, sir.."
Stagium's face was deep red as he stared down at him. He walks to Kevin in an angry fashion and stares him down more. He opened his mouth, "Good job!" He said calmly said. He walks back to his chair and everything proceeded nicely. The trio sat in an awkward silence, computing to what had happened.
The gang is all collected at Mr.Oak's history class, with the exclusion of Oak himself. The gang thought it would be a good idea to cheat on this test since Mr. Oak isn't in the class. Kevin decides to not participates as he feels that finish first. Twilight decides to also not cheat as she has studied at least an hour a day.
The substitute was a blonde, petite female with an english accent. "Alright everyone, I think you've all heard everyone else say what they have to say about the finals. I don't think I need to say more. any questions before we start?" Kevin raised his, hand, "Yes?"
"I just wanna say this... You're hot... Can I have your number?" Kevin said obnoxiously. People inside the room began laughing and were shocked to hear something from Kevin. Even May was surprised to hear this.
The sub ignored Kevin's request, "Let the test begin.."
Kevin and Twilight quickly started their tests and were both on page 2 in a minute. Other students took their time doing the test and had a hard time doing the test. May and Seamus cheated off of Phil's test. Other students used their phones or used the textbook to cheat on the test. As for the sub, she is looking through her phone.
Eventually, Twilight and Kevin ended up finishing their tests the same time in 20 minutes. Everyone else was still finishing their tests.
"So... How'd you do?" Kevin whispered to Twilight. He scratched his head and looked at the ceiling, his feet on the desk.
"It's pretty easy actually." Twilight looked at the teacher, "Hey, why'd you say that to her?"
"Eh, I'm just bored. I'm always like this at the end of any school year."
"Oh.. I see.."
After school, the gang are inside a small amusement park called Fun-Time amusement park. The whole gang (The ponies, humans and Spike) are outside on the mini golf area. The golf area has no other people on it besides them, taking their shots with time.
They are at Hole 3, the course was curvy looked almost impassable. Spike places his ball onto the tee and takes a deep breath. "Ok.." May takes his shot. The golf ball stops close to the hole, "Darn it! Almost made it!"
"My turn!" Kevin set up his tee and takes a deep breath. "Watch how an asian works!" He takes a shot, only to hit it over the fence and into the freeway.
"O.B. (Out of Bounds)!" May shouted, writing down on the piece of paper.
Kevin throws down the Fun-Time golf club. "O.B.?! How about F.U.?!" Seamus and Phil laugh in the background. "How's that comeback, Spike?" He looks to Spike, who is holding everyone's bags.
"Very good, sir!" Spike wore a caddie's uniform.
Twilight took walked up and placed her tee on the ground. "Ok..." She places the ball onto the tee and hits the ball. The golf ball flies a little over the field and makes it inside the hole. "Yes!" Twilight jumped in joy.
"Pfft.. Beginner's luck.." Kevin commented.
Seamus coughed onto the side, "*cough* Cheater.. *cough*"
Phil was blankly looking at the sky, "....Do it again! I wasn't looking.."
They would eventually reach the 18th hole in an hour as they argued over nothing. Twilight is tied against Seamus, he would eventually be disqualified for cheating and fixing the scores for the first half of the game. They all go home with Seamus on the top of his car, strapped onto by rope and duct tape.
The clock had just struck 9 PM and the tired ponies occupy the living room. Twilight reads a book on human medicine as Lyra plays her harp. The TV plays in the background so to not feel quiet and alone.
"Twi.." Lyra stopped playing in the middle of a song.
"Yeah?" Twilight responded. She placed a bookmark on the page to read later.
"In your opinion, what do you think of these humans from those old ponies tales?" Lyra sat towards Twilight. "I mean, they were made to be really mean and bloodthirsty. But the people we're living with aren't that bad."
"True, but they're kinda.. unruly sometimes."
Lyra was confused, "Unruly?"
"Like... The boys like Seamus and Kevin. Those guys use a lot of bad words in their sentences. Only Phil and May are probably the only ones that cuss very little or not at all."
"What are you talking about? May cusses a lot too."
"Not when I'm around."
"Whatever you say!" Lyra jumped up from her seat. "Did you study your books, Twi?"
"Yes, Lyra." Twilight rolled her eyes. "When'd you become so motherly like?"
"I'm not!" Lyra's hands were on her hips, "Go to your room and sleep, your final tests are tomorrow!"
Twilight rolled her eyes. "Yes, mommy.." She said sarcastically. She walked upstairsto her room and saw a small manga on her bed. She looked at the manga with mystery and began to read it for the night.
Twilight awoke from her slumber. "Ah! That hurt!" She looks around to find herself under the bed. "By Celestia's beard, did I do last night?" She turned her head to see a small manga book.
The book had two humans and a fish on the cover, with the title 'Gyo' on it. "Oh.. Yeah, I remember.." She sighs in relief, "It was only a story, Twi.."
Someone wearing an octopus costume waits atop Twilight's bed, with her not knowing. The octopus releases 6 of its tentacles in the front of the bed.
Twilight screams from the top of her lungs as the tentacles try to grab her. Lyra bursts into the room just in time to kick its butt with the closest object she could find, a snowglobe. She bashes the octopus in its head and revealed a spot of hair.
"What the..?" The firgure ignored Lyra's bashing to reveal a more hair. Wait, its a costume!
Lyra tore open the headpiece of the costume. A head appears from out of the headpiece to show Seamus. "Oi!" he shouted.
Lyra dragged Seamus out of his costume from his ear. He drags him out of Twilight's room, throwing him down the stairs. She crouched down under the bed and reached for Twilight's hand. "It's ok. The octopus is gone."
Twilight sighs in relief as she crawls out under her bed. "Good.." She takes a deep breathe. "Lyra, what's for breakfast?"
"...How's Fried Octopus?"
At school, it was 2nd period and the English teacher has already passed out the tests. Twilight is sitting beside Kevin. Twilight feels far more prepared than she was yesterday. Kevin wore a a big suit to take the test with, his head looked very small opposed to the suit.
The teacher sat down on the table. Her business wear made her sweaty and tired. "Alright class. You heard the same lame speech from everyone else. Any questions before we start?" She sounded tired from her little talk.
Kevin raised his hand, "You ok there, Mrs. Graham?"
Mrs. Graham took off her business dress, revealing an Oakvale jersey. "I'm just tired.. that's all.. Anymore questions?" No one else raised their hands, "Alright then.. Begin the test.."
Everyone began their tests. The subject at hand was to give details of the play, Julius Caesar. Twilight and Kevin quickly breezed through the first section of the test. The other students were working at their own pace, some progressing fast, others struggling.
Kevin finished his final first. He took out a pack of cards and placed the cards onto his hand. He awaited for his other friends; Brad, Diego and Twilight, to finish their tests. He shuffled his cards at practiced dealing cards.
Everyone had finished their tests an hour early. Kevin placed his cards down on the desk. "Hey.. All you guys... Over here."
Brad was a big tubby guy who always wore shirts with food on the front. He was very popular when he was on Oakvale's football team, aside his short, stubby, chubby figure. "Ok.." He moves his desk half way in front of Kevin's desk. "Alright, you comin' Diego?"
"Yeah, Braa-a-a-a" Diego says his name in a sheep-like way. Diego was the opposite of Brad, he was not on the football team, nor chubby. But he is very skinny and a very laid-back character. He has a big birthmark on his left eye, some people mistake this as a "black eye that doesn't go away". Diego moved his desk in front of Brad's desk.
Twilight moved her desk in front of the other two boys. They look at Kevin with a clever look, "What?" Kevin responded as he dealt the cards.
"This your girlfriend, Kevin?" Diego asked with a satisfied look on his face.
"What? No.. She's a friend." Kevin counted his cards to make sure it is equal.
Brad took out a snickers bar from his pocket. "You sure? She could be mine.." Brad looked at Twilight's direction. "Hey baby.. I'm Brad! Ever seen muscles like these?" Brad flexed his right arm, showing little muscle.
Kevin cleaned his glasses with a handkerchief, "Brad. those muscles came from you masturbating every damn night to food porn." Everyone laughed, or Ooh'd, at Kevin's comment about Brad, even the teacher laughed, who was right behind Kevin. "Besides Brad, who'd wanna date you?" Everyone ooh'd as he said that.
"Ok ok. I'll back off your friend. 'Sides, I was kidding." Brad took a bite off of his Snickers bar.
"I know..." Kevin looked at the clock, then looked at the cards. "Ok, the game is Bullshit! You all know the rules? Good. Dealers are first until the winner."
Twilight's 4th period class was Geometry and she was failing the class. Her friends, Seamus and May are also failing this class. They all have F's in the class and plan to copy off of another student, Camille, a B- student in AVID.
The class is almost starting and they are grouped together.
May drinks a bottle of Coca-Cola, "Ok... So, how're your tests, Twi?"
"Eh, they were pretty easy. But like with some, I.. had to cheat." Twilight scratches her heard, "I'm not very proud of it... but I just don't wanna be held back. Or go to magical kindergarten.."
"Magical kindergarten?"
"Yeah... I don't wanna talk about it.."
Other students come inside the classroom, sitting in their seats. "...Anyway, Seamus and Twilight... WHAT the hell happened this morning?!" Her tone caught only the attention of a random student.
"Your brother spooked me!" Twilight shouted. "He dressed up in some weird costume and scared me!"
"Well, that's what you get for reading horror comics at night.." May said to Twilight. He turned his attention to Seamus. "You.. Why the hell would you do that?"
"It was funny.." Seamus said, trying to contain his laughter.
"You're lucky it was Lyra who beat you up... I wouldn't have been so nice to you!"
"Yeah Yeah Yeah..." He said mockingly. Seamus walks to his seat in front of the teacher. The bell rings and everyone goes to their seat.
The Geometry teacher passes out scan sheets to every student. Twilight looks around before she starts her test, having a worried look across her face. Seamus pulls his right sleeve inward to show equations for problems.
May looks at Camille's paper, already finishing half of the first column. "God damn... Fucking smart girl..." May thought it her head. "Fuck... I guess I'll have to try to catch up.."
Twilight and her friends are inside of their 6th period class. It was in the science wing, a 2 story high building mainly filled with science classes ranging from chemistry to physics. Their class was Biology and they were ready to get it over with. In front of the building is the school's courtyard, with the library adjacent to the science building.
"Move your fat ass! I'm trying to get into class!" Kevin shouted to Brad, who was blocking the front door.
The teacher, Mrs. Williams, passes out the papers for the final. A man stands by her. "Alright kiddies! I'm sorry, but I have to go. I have knee surgery in an hour and I have to get ready. I have here, is Mr. Bayter. Wave to him, class!" The kids waved to Bayter.
Many students await for Kevin to make a witty response... Or just waiting for him to say something stupid. "Mr. Bayter, is it? What it the first initial of your first name?"
"M." Bayter gladly said.
"What does the M stand for?'
"Meister."
"Oh! So you're of German descent. So if I'm right.. You are Meister Bayter, yes?"
"Yes.."
"What does Meister mean in German?"
"It means Master.."
"Ah! I see.. so you are..."
Bayter sighed, "Yes... I am... Master Bayter..." He said in a disgruntled and unhappy tone. All the kids laughed, except Twilight, who didn't understand the joke. Bayter walked up to Kevin, "What is your name?"
"Kevin.." He said. His innocent looking face confused the teacher as he looked straight into his eyes to see nothing wrong.
"Alright.. I'm keeping an eye on you..."
By now, Mrs. Williams has left and the test has just begun. Everyone cheats on their tests with their phones, while Mr. Bayter looked through the newspaper. Twilight and Kevin finished quickly, so they talked about recent events.
"So... what happened this morning with Seamus?" He whispered.
"I don't wanna say.." She was reluctant to say anything.
"C'mon.. I wanna know. I'm your friend.." Kevin tried to persuade her.
"Alright.. He scared me.."
"How?" He asked, his voice was sweet and caring like.
"Remember that book you let me borrow?"
"Gyo? Yeah, why?"
"I found it and read it last night, I got scared by that thing on the last page.." She cringed as she remembered the sight of the monster. "Don't tell anyone..."
"Don't tell anyone at what?"
Twilight looked around shiftly. "...I slept under the bed the whole night.."
Kevin didn't say anything. His face was blank from expression, then he spoke. "I know.. Seamus told me."
"Oh.. Guess that's old news then."
"Yeah.."
"You're not gonna tell anyone else, are you?"
"Lips are sealed!" He pretends to zip his lips with an imaginary zipper.
Twilight smiled, "Thanks" She leans over to hug Kevin. "Hey, are you gonna date Lyra?"
Kevin turns a bit red and turns his head. "Uh... I- I was only kidding about that.." He said stammering. "Besides, why would anyone, let alone Lyra, date a fat man like me?"
"You dated May, you have experience!"
"Eh, I dunno..." Kevin took a pair of scissors spun them around his index finger. "What if I upset her?"
"Relax! Us ponies are very difficult to upset... Some more than others.." Twilight sees Kevin pull out his phone, "Hey Kevin! I was wondering when I can get a phone.."
"I can buy you an iPhone 3G for free, I'll pay for the contract."
"Really? I get my own phone?" Twilight's face began to glow with happiness. "Thanks!"
"N'Prob!" Kevin looked at Twilight, "Hey.. Ever miss Equestria?"
"Sometimes... But I feel like that I'm gonna be banished from Equestria.. Or worse, magic kindergarten!" She cringes again.
"Magic Kindergarten?"
"I don't want to talk about it..."
"I see.."
Only 2 minutes to the end of school and everyone was waiting by the door. Kevin unbuttoned his suit to reveal a shirt with 'Filipino Pride' across it. Twilight awaited by the front with Kevin, ready to run outside.
One minute is left on the clock and Mr. Bayter stands up. "Everyone! I have something to say!" The class looked at him, awaiting his last words. "You all can fu---*BEEEEEEP*" The bell rang as he spoke. Everyone screams as they burst out of their classrooms with joy.
The students throw their schoolwork high in the sky. The papers fly and litter the school campus along with gum, food and the occasional bird poop. TJ and his friends pulled out slingshots and bird eggs, shooting anyone nearby. Kevin and Twilight take notice and simply walk away.
Kevin had just gotten an idea. "You know..."
"What?"
"For all the things he did to me, and others, I'm gonna do something back. You know... return the favor.."
"What do you mean?"
"Watch.." Kevin sprints to TJ's direction. He jumps off a green bench and dropkicks him on his cheek. The power and force in it was strong enough, it kicked TJ into a trashcan.
"Heh... Never knew you were white trash, TJ!". Kevin said dryly as he stared him down.
Twilight and the gang reside at Kevin's house for the night to spend their last day with him. The exterior of Kevin's house looked nothing more than a 2 story house with a nice cut lawn and very square hedges around the walkway with a garage at the back of the house. A couple of discarded chip bags and slurpee cups from a nearby 7/11 litter the lawn.
However, the interior of the house was almost like a gamer's paradise. In the living room, resides a 70 inch LED TV connected to a PS3, Wii and an Xbox 360. In the kitchen resides a custom made laptop with a transparent computer case and a homemade shelf with all of the games he had for his consoles and computer, neatly organized in alphabetical order.
Twilight peeked at the video game rack. "Hey Kevin."
"Yes?" He took out a cup from the dishwasher.
"What kind of video games do you have?" Twilight takes out a random video game box. This looks cool.. "What's this?" She showed him the box with the cover of Fallout 3.
He poured a glass of tea into his cup. "That's Fallout 3." He takes the box and places it back. "Its a game where you fight... I guess evil monsters and find someone important."
"Is it good?"
"Here." He takes the game out and gives it to her. "Try it out on your laptop and see if you like it."
"Thanks." She places the game in her bag. "Also, thanks for buying me and Lyra iPhones."
"No problem!" He walks upstairs to his room.
Seamus walks over to Twilight in hype. "Geez Seamus! You're sweating bullets right now!"
"I know.." He takes a deep breathe. "I've been dancing on that Dance Dance Revolution machine Kevin bought. Hell, I'm surprised he has that kind of money."
"Yeah. Anyway, when is Kevin's flight?" Twilight asked.
"His flight is at 3 AM tomorrow, just 6 hours from now." Seamus grabbed a water bottle and gulps it down.
"Uh huh, but why are we staying in his house for the night?"
"He has a nice house." Lyra said as she walks into the kitchen.
"Yeah.." He walks back to the DDR machine and dances along with Phil.
"Alright then." She said to herself. She walks upstairs to Kevin's room to talk. The contents inside his room were also amazing. Posters of various 70s and 80s bands plastered on the walls. An acoustic, electric and 10 bass guitars on one side of the wall. A restored boombox next to his workstation and small notebook laptop connected to a computer monitor similar to the TV, just smaller.
"Wow, you're pretty rich." Twilight had her arms crossed as she smiled.
"Heh, you're telling me. I work to get all of these." He packs one of his bass guitars into a leather case. "What's brings you here to my man cave?"
"I was wondering. Why are you packing?"
"I don't think I told you, but I'm going to the Philippines."
"Sounds nice. I heard its hot over there."
"Sure is. But its also rainy season this time of year."
"How long are you going to be there?" Twilight sits on Kevin's bed.
"About a month."
"Nice. I heard your flight is at 3. Why so early?"
"Only available flight that didn't cost me around $1000 on a seat." Kevin turns off his computer and turns on his boombox. "You gonna stay up with me on the ride to the airport?"
"Sure.." Twilight looks at the clock. "That reminds me. Where is the airport?"
Notice: I apologize for the late story update. I've recently been busy with other things in my agenda, such as the new upcoming school year. I am currently writing the other chapter. Thank you for your time.
*Yawn* "God, I'm so tired.." Seamus' voice was quiet as he rode in the back. "God, why do we have take you to the airport at 2?" Seamus rubbed his right eye. Seamus and Kevin talk outside of his garage
Kevin held his acoustic guitar in one hand. "I like to see San Francisco before leaving." He scratched his head. "Where are the two ponies?"
"May is getting them." Seamus bent downards to touch his toes. "Its a good thing to stretch as you wake up. Makes you awake and alert. By the way, Phil is coming to get the van."
"Ok." He whistles a small tune as he waits for the van. "Nice shirt by the way, Seamus."
"Thanks." Seamus was wearing a custom Red Alert 2 shirt. "Made it myself. Nice coat." He completed back.
"Thanks. My dad gave it to me before he left." Kevin checked his watch. Its 12:25, when is he coming to pick us up?
The girls exit out of the garage and into the garage. Each carried his luggage out of the house. Lyra held onto Kevin's bass guitar, strapped onto her back. Twilight and May carried his clothing and personal belongings in luggage.
"Kevin, this damn bag is too heavy!" May complained.
"Quit complaining, May." Kevin said. May gave him a mean look, then stuck her tongue out as she walked by him. "I love you too." He said as he smiled.
Twilight walks up to him. "I don't think she said anything to you." She wore some big skinny rimmed purple glasses with one of Kevin's jackets. "Seamus, are you coming with us to the airport?"
"Nope." Seamus lights and smokes a cigarette. "I'm actually staying here to keep watch of his house until you guys get back."
"Who's staying with you then?" Twilight asked.
"May. There's also DeVonte, Christian, Ryan, Speed and a few other friends inside the house. Plus, someone has to drive them home." His breath reaches Twilight's nose.
*cough cough* "Oh gosh, your breath smells like soot!" She complained.
Lyra and Kevin talk at the entrance of the driveway. Lyra wore a lamp shade on her head and a nice polyester jacket. He played a song on his guitar in continuous loop the quietest he can.
"So Kevin, how long are you gonna stay there?" Lyra asked Kevin. She took off the lampshade on her head and threw it over the neighbor's backyard. A cat screeches in the distance.
"Uh... I'll be there for a month." He rubs the back of his neck. "Um..."
"Um....?" Lyra asked.
"Nothing. I don't wanna say anything." He looked downwards in embarrassment.
"Oh.." Lyra turns away in shame. She sighs as she thinks to herself. Why.. Why do I like him so much?
The sounds of crickets chirping and nearby cars fill the air as they await for Phil's arrival. The ponies watch at the curb for the van to come. Police sirens are heard from inside the neighborhood as they deal with a drunk driver.
"God! When is he fucking coming already? Its fucking cold!" Seamus yelled in anxiety.
"C'mon Phil! It's fucking 1:11 and I don't wanna be late!" Kevin complained.
As if by command, Phil came into the driveway with his van. The hour late Phil comes out of the van and opens the backdoor.
"Sorry I'm late. Some drunk driver tried to pass me without using his turn signals." Phil said. He picked up Kevin's luggage and puts them inside. "Alright, everyone in the van."
"You're not gonna rape me, are you?" Kevin asked sarcastically.
"Ha ha. You're so funny." He responded sarcastically. "Hey, is Gavin coming also?" He threw away a bag of garbage onto the ground.
"He said to meet him in Emeryville where he works."
"You mean the bus stop?"
"No, he told me he got fired there. He's working at a club."
"As what?"
"The club's DJ."
The club, Hypo, was huge and wide. The neon lights and graffiti painted the building to the edges. A chain linked fence wraps around the area of the building.
"Damn! I never knew the club was this huge!" Phil said surprised.
"Its just an abandoned IKEA store with a few adjustments." Kevin said.
"Few?" Twilight asked.
"Looks more like a lot." Lyra commented.
"Whatever, lets just get inside." Phil puts on a red hunting cap and awaits for the others to move.
Kevin took notice "Still wearing that cap, I see?"
"Sure is.."
The group enter the club nonchalantly. Everyone was stunned to see the inside of Hypo. The lobby was clean and no one, except a neatly dressed woman, was inside in her desk. There was a large double door leading inside the rest of the club. The woman looked at them, "Hello! Welcome to Hypo. How may I help you?"
They walk up to woman as Phil spoke for the rest. "Um, we're looking for our friend, Gavin?"
"Oh! He told me you were coming." She gave them a piece of paper. "It's Gavin's letter."
Twilight opened the letter, "'Monkey Sex..'" Twilight paused in confusion, trying to process what she said. "Huh?"
They all looked at the letter, "Monkey Sex?" They all asked.
Gavin exited out of the large doors with a pair of headphones. His giant reddish jacket with a leather arm strap and yellow dyed spiked hair made everyone stare his way. "Hey guys.."
"Never knew you cosplay, Gavin." Phil said.
"I told you that I cosplay!" Gavin removed his headphones. "Alright, let's go. Its like 1:50 and we're gonna be late."
"Ok"
"Can't believe you got this van, Phil!" Gavin was surprised to be in the van.
"I know. I have my connections." He said as he drives.
"I mean, you got a DVD/Blu-Ray player, a TV in the ceiling to watch, and a mini fridge? That is fucking awesome!"
"Like I said, I have connections. Some good connections from my dad's friends."
"Where are we right now?" Twilight asked.
"We're almost in San Francisco," Lyra answered, "Look outside! There's a big ocean outside!"
Twilight looked outside of the van window. "Wow! San Francisco is beautiful at night!" The buildings were stirred with lights all around. The cars and billboards lighting up upper and lower San Francisco. They pass a billboard of a shirt, made up of shirts.
"Hey!" Lyra pointed to something. "Look at that!" Twilight and the others look outside the window. "Woah! Is that a... A rainbow?"
"A rainbow? At night? That's impossible!" Kevin said in a surprise. .
"Damn, I gotta lay off the hot sauce..." Gavin commented. He threw a bottle of hot sauce into the back of the van.
Twilight looked closely at the rainbow. "Wait.. This can't be right. No rain happened today.."
Phil cleared his throat. "Hey, just a personal question to you guys. What was the weirdest thing that happened in a car? I''l start. I was in this very bridge, driving into San Fran with my window opened. Suddenly, some faggot threw his chewed up bubble gum into my mouth from another car."
"Ew! That's disgusting!" The ponies shrieked.
"Funny." Kevin commented, "I was chewing some old bubble gum on this very bridge, then I threw it out of the car and landed into someone's mouth. It was pretty funny."
"Eeeeewwwww!" The ponies shrieked again.
Phil turned around and gave Kevin a bad look. "You bitch.."
"Keep your eyes on the road!" Twilight shouted.
Kevin plays a harmonica he bought from a thrift store. "Hey Twilight."
"Yeah?"
"You know how you said that you need to get back?"
"Kinda. My mind has been fuzzy lately. Why?"
"Well, is there a way that you can get back?"
She thought for a minute, "Not that I know of."
"Oh, that sucks. Don't you wanna go back home to Equestria or whatever?"
"Yeah, but I don't know if I should. I feel like I'm going to be sent back in time as a filly to magical kindergarten."
"Come on, there has to be something worse than magical kindergarten."
"What about living in the land of Tartarus?"
"Tartarus?"
"Uh.. I guess, in what people call--"
"Heaven?"
"No--"
"Hell?"
"Bingo."
"Nice, in a land of ponies and magic, a Princess Celestia rules in a reign of peace. But there's Hell also. That's reassuring." Kevin sarcastically commented. Twilight rolled her eyes.
"Hoooly Fuck!" Gavin said as he stretched. "That ride was a long ass ride!" They were inside of the San Francisco Airport parking. Inside the 4th floor near a blue Volkswagen.
"That food was delicious!" Lyra commented, "I never knew San Francisco had some delicious food!"
"And we got it at night! Never knew some stores were open." Twilight wiped her mouth with a napkin. "What time is it?"
Kevin took out his phone. "We have about 20 minutes or so before the flight. Come on, let's go inside."
Phil takes out the luggage from the back. "Ok, I'll meet you guys back here when you guys finish uh...." His voice began faint, his mouth open as a long strand of drool drips out. He breathes deeply as if he was injured.
"Are you alright?" Kevin asked.
"Eh... I... Just having a bad headache..." He responded as he regains control.
"You need Lyra to get you water from inside or..."
"No, no.. I'll be ok." He wipes off the drool on his chin.
The gang enter the elevator to the main floor. Each one held Kevin's luggage, rolling on the floor with its wheels. Twilight and Lyra look at amazement as they see the commercial airplanes parked.
"Ah!" Twilight yelped. "Oh.." She looked down to see she was on a conveyor belt. She laughed to herself a bit and puts on her hood. Luckily, no one saw her mishap.
Everyone stands in front of the departure gate. Kevin, holding nothing but his guitar and harmonica, looks at his friends. There was no line and only one airport security guard.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." Kevin said.
Gavin spoke up, "Group hug?"
"No, because that's gay."
"But.. No one can resist a hug." Gavin pleaded.
"Yes, no one can, bu--" Lyra hugged Kevin with a lunging force. "Ah!" Kevin kept his balance from the sudden force. Holy shit! She almost made me fall! Everyone else came towards him for a group hug. "Ok ok! You get your hugs." He wrapped his arms around everyone as did they.
Lyra looked at Kevin, "Hey."
"Hey!"
"Be careful, ok?"
"I will." Lyra reached over to give him a farewell kiss.
He walks off into the departure gate to catch up with the others in his flight. Everyone waves goodbye from behind the gates. The leaving member turns around one last time and gave them a peace sign.
The remaining friends eat at a nearby restaurant, The Heavy Rhino Bar, for breakfast. Gavin texts Kevin as he waits for his departure. They eat cold cereal from a plastic bowl and a cup of orange juice or chocolate milk. They reminisce about the old days with Kevin.
"....And Kevin would always ask the subs really weird and repetitive questions. Like 'Is that chair to sit in? I'm hungry, do you have any lunch? Why? Do you have any money?' He'd just keep asking them questions." Phil said.
"Oh!" Twilight thought of something, "Like that time with Mr. Bater or whatever?"
"Yeah!"
"You had Mr. Bater?" Gavin asked. "Aww, lucky!" He looked at his phone, then to the gang. "I remember one time when Kevin made fun of a girl in class."
"You mean Andria?" Twilight asked.
Phil looked up, "Yeah, that's her. What'd he say to her?"
"I think he said, 'I really hope Andria is looking for a psychiatrist, I'm kinda tired of hearing her bitching." Twilight said, as she imitated his voice. Everyone has a small, hearty laugh. Their laughter startled others, but awoke many, even the bartender woke up from his nap.
A security guard walks up to them as they laugh. "Excuse me, you're all too loud. You need to keep quiet, or else I'll be forced to kick you out." Twilight listens to the voice, not turning around.
"Sorry." Gavin said.
The ponies look at each other. "Hey, doesn't she sound familiar?" Lyra whispered. The other pony nodded.
"Do any of you wanna race?" The woman asked.
"Race?" Twilight asked.
Wait, I know her voice "Hey, you with the purple hair..." The woman called to Twilight, "Don't I know you?"
"Do you know anyone of the name... Twilight Sparkle?"
Everyone's eyes were opened. "Twilight Sparkle?" Everyone looked at her. The ponies looked back.
"Rainbow Dash?" The boys looked at each other, then at her. Everyone stared at her from the table. Her hair was long and still having the colorful hair. Her security uniform was a bit wrinkled, but it was clean.
"Rainbow Dash. Oh my Gosh!" Lyra's mouth dropped a bit.
"Lyra? Twilight? You look... different!" RD was surprised. "Look at your forehead! There's no horn!"
"We know, but look at you! You're different too!" Twilight turned her body around. "You don't have your wings."
"Y-yeah.." The two stared each other, not knowing what to say. The three ponies stared at each other, looking at RD's body. This went on for 3 minutes, then turned to silence.
"Hey, any of your guys' cereal taste weird?" Gavin broke the silence. "Mine tastes like crap."
The ponies ignored the boys, "Twilight, I've been told to find you and take you home." RD took out a scroll from her back pocket. "Its from the Princess."
"Really?" She opened the scroll. "'Dear Twilight Sparkle, I have decided to bring in Rainbow Dash to rescue you. However, she will be possibly powerless. We have sent her through a magical portal, for her to go through. I have no idea how long the other side will be open, but I have been told that it will be opened to the human world at random.'"
"Dude, I think this cereal really does taste like crap." Phil whispered to Gavin."
"I know, right?" Gavin whispered back.
"Hey, Rainbow, where'd you get that uniform?" Lyra asked.
"I uh.. had to pass some things like exams, some tests on reading and writing, a physical test, which I obviously passed." RD smiled proudly. "Also had to do some interviews and other work."
"Excuse me, Bartender, the cereal you gave us. It's kinda bad." Phil placed his cereal on the counter. "Can we get a new bowl?"
"Hey Rainbow, when are you off? We need to talk." Twilight asked.
"In a few minutes. Just stay put and I'll follow you guys back to your car." RD looked at her watch. "Well, my shift is over! I'll be back to clock out." She walks off to the other side of the airport and into the security room.
The two boys, not paying attention, rap in the background with Phil 'giving a beat'.
......Give me some food, mother fucker! Not a trip, just a bother! What about a trip to Reno? How about a big burrito? What about to Cairo? How about a gyro? What about to the ocean shore? What about some ears of corn?
"Hey, you guys!" Twilight stopped their childish rap.
Lyra turned around, "Yeah, it was cheesy anyway.." *BA DUM TSSH* The sound came from Lyra's phone. She giggled, "Hehe. Sorry!"
"Did you guys hear what we're gonna do with Rainbow?"
"You're gonna bring Rainbow Dash to the car to talk." Phil answered.
"...Ok then. Is that fine with you guys?"
"Yeah, as long as she doesn't mess with the van."
"So, how have you girls been?" RD laid down on the van's floor, watching the television. Her blue sleeveless vest held her phone and a backpack.
"Pretty good." Twilight said.
Lyra plays a game on her iPhone. "Same."
Twilight looked at RD. "Hey, Rainbow."
"What?"
"What's happening in Equestria lately?"
"Other than what the scroll said? Nothing really."
"Are our friends missing us?"
"We all missed now. We thought you two were dead. " She sat upwards and leaned on the car door. "But I guess now that I'm here, I know you two are safe!"
Gavin looked back to the girls. "Hey, do you have a place to stay in, Rainbow?"
"Nah. I sleep over at a friend's house. I met him at that Rhino Bar you guys were in. Why?"
"Nothin'.." Gavin said. He looked out of the window and remembered something. "Hey, isn't this where that rainbow was earlier? It disappeared though."
"Oh yeah!" She sat up on her knees. "That rainbow over there, I made that."
Twilight looks where the rainbow previously was. "But that's impossible! Rainbows needs light to create... Unless..." She looks at RD. "Do you.."
RD nods, "Yup!", She unbuttoned her vest in front of everyone. Gavin and the girls looked at her vest, then at her body. "Like what you see?"
"Day-um! Those are big!" Gavin shouted in an awkward voice. "Phil! Are you seein' this?"
"No need to shout in my ear.." He shook his head. "I'm looking at the rear view mirror. Nothin' too special to me.." Phil's nonchalance voice was obvious to everyone.
"That's a nice pair!" Lyra said, staring at her. "I think they got bigger the last time we see you!"
"You're wings really did get bigger!" Twilight commented.
"I know, I think when I changed into a human, they got bigger." RD flapped her wings.
Phil spoke to RD as he drove, without looking back, "Rainbow, please stop! You're making Gavin over here really horny." Everyone except RD and Gavin laughed in the van. "Hahahaha! Oh God, that was rich!."
The morning sun slowly rises in the sleepy and silent Oakvale. The birds sang their songs and a storage chain was heard from a distance. The remaining friends and ponies watch as the sun rises on the roof of Kevin's house. They all wore some wore clothing, except RD who just wore her vest.
"This is crazy, but its pretty awesome!" RD grabbed a can of Arizona from an ice cooler. "I mean, a picnic on top of the roof? You have to admit, its too cool to be crazy!"
"Yes, but its also dangerous." Seamus grabbed a gallon of milk from the cooler. "But then again, who gives a fuck?"
May spoke up. "I know, right? I mean, its a small little town where almost no crime happens. We can almost do anything we want!" She stood up and walked to one of the corners of the roof. "Nobody push me!"
"We will!" Phil shouted.
Seamus drank from the milk jug, "So tell me, Rainbow, how'd you get here?"
RD looked at him, "Like I said to the others, I entered a portal to your universe and I thought I'd find some work to do."
"I see. I don't believe you, honestly." Seamus sat up. "Unless, there is some sort of proof that you are indeed a pegasus."
"Don't you see these?" She pointed to her back. "Can't you see them?"
"Nope."
She took off her vest and spreads her wings. "How about now?" Seamus stared at her. "Well? Do you believe me now?"
"I.. Uh..." He hesitated, "I.. Uh... I Uh... I.. Um.. I.. Uh.. Nice shirt"
She was confused. "Um.... thanks?"
Lyra spoke up, "Seamus, are you even looking at her wings?"
"She had wings?" He responded. She crossed her arms and gave him a mean look. With her wings, she harshly flapped them towards Seamus. The wind she forces brushes him off of the roof and landing onto the sidewalk.
Hey guys, Sorry for the very very late submission for the next chapter. This was created just this morning (2:15 AM PST), very sleepy and very tired. This chapter is confusing, but you can skip this.
"...You see? Told you it wasn't good." Twilight said.
"Hey! How was I supposed to know that Wheaties cereal tastes bland?" Seamus said to Twilight as throws the cereal into the trash. "Besides, I thought it'd taste good!"
Twilight sighs, "Well, that's two dollars down the drain."
It was a very gray afternoon for Oakvale. Clouds came from the east to block the sun from reaching Oakvale with a cool breeze going through. A train's horn is heard in the distance as it passes by the small town. A group of bicyclists ride through the quiet neighborhood with yellow and red suits.
Rainbow Dash sits atop of the house, watching the bicyclists ride through. "Man, I really wish something cool happened today." She said to herself. Her wings hung low, moving with the wind. She sighs, "I miss Ponyville.." The crows mocked RD as they flew by her. She sighs, "I'm so bored..."
Someone climbs up the ladder leading to the roof. It was Gavin, holding a shotgun strapped to his back. "Hey Rainbow!" He said with a smile.
"...Hey." Rainbow stood up. "Why do you have a shotgun?"
"Well, it's for paintball. I got this custom made from John, a friend of mine."
"Cool!" She walks closer, "But I don't think that's really legal."
"Don't worry, it's legal." Gavin reassured.
"Can I look at it?"
He detached the sling, "You can look.... But you can't touch!" He raised his hands in a flamboyant way.
"Geez, that's pretty gay!" A voice cried out. Phil climbed up the ladder, holding a regular paintball gun.
Gavin "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. We were hoping to play some paintball in the park, wanna come?"
"Sure!"
"Welcome to Copper Park." Gavin said to everyone. The park was as long as a football field with house surrounding the walkways. The players: Rainbow, Phil, Gavin, DeVonte and Josh stood in the middle of the park.
"Hey, since we're here... What now?" RD asked.
"We wait for the others to come." DeVonte answered. "We're playing against some kids over at Bishop's Landing."
Josh spoke, "Wish Kevin was here." He pulled out a stick of gum from his pocket. "I'm a really bad shot."
"Suck it up.." Phil said to Josh, "We all want him here."
A red truck flies past the park, flipping and turning over RD and friends. They all watch the truck, all confused and surprised at it. Nearby households look outside as they see it.
"Damn..." DeVonte scratched his nose. "I don't think I took my medicine today."
"What? Last night's match made you tired that your seeing things?" Phil asked him mockingly, "That Muay Thai fight didn't do good for you?"
"No, I just didn't take my medicine today. It helps me deal with things."
"Like what?"
"Your shit!"
The day had gotten stranger as time passed by. The team waited, and waited, and waited. Phil wandered around the park, shooting his paintball gun at the ground. The other teammates sat on a nearby picnic table with one of their phones out, playing music.
"You know, this day has gotten weirder since we got here." DeVonte complained as he places his gun on the picnic table. "Like, first the truck incident over there. Then we see these cops walking by, dressed in drag."
"Calm down, DeVonte!" Cried Phil. "We'll leave in 5 minutes, if they don't come, then they forfeit." He continued to shoot the ground. "Bunch of pussies.." He mumbled to himself.
A kid walks up to the boys as they await their late rivals. He wore a short-sleeved shirt with black pants, his right hand in his pants and a snap-back on his head. A group of high school kids follow him as they, snickering.
"Hey!" The boy called to them. "Wanna see something?"
Phil had just gotten back from his wandering journey. "The hell's going on here? And what the hell is this guy doing here?"
The kid turns to Phil, "Hey kid, wanna see something?" He gets his belt open and pretends to masturbate. "Yeah! You like that, don't you?"
Phil rolled his eyes. DeVonte shook his head and closed his eyes, "Wow.. Just... wow.." The other boys look away. The high school kids laugh as he uses the belt, playfully rubbing it in front of the boys. The boy looked at RD, "Hey there, why hang out with these tards? I'm a senior, forget these guys!"
"No thanks!" RD replied.
"C'mon!" The boy grabbed RD's butt. She shrieks.
"Why you!" RD pushes the boy away. The other boys catch notice and run to RD's aid.
DeVonte removed his paintball gear. "Ok! You know what? This shit's going down! I don't care if my ass gets beat!" The others remove their gear and pick up a nearby item.
As the boys charged up to the senior, a group of bovine (cows) rushed through the streets. The cows were heading towards the highway. Horses rode through the streets behind the cows, shooting guns in the air. The senior, now distracted, has been forced down by DeVonte. Gavin and Phil spit onto his face and kick dust into his eyes. Josh called for an ambulance for the senior.
Suddenly, RD is shocked by and unknown item and is knocked out cold.
"Hey! Wake up!" A voice called.
"Hey! You!" Another voice called. "Shock her again. Maybe she'll wake up." A small jolt of electricity shocks into her, she screams in pain.
"Ah! What's going on?!" RD screamed as she opens her eyes. She is awakened in Twilight's room, where Seamus is wearing a nothing, but some wool socks, a shirt and shorts. May exited out of the walk-in closet.
"Hey there, sleepy head." He said dryly.
"What the? What happened? Where's Phil?"
Seamus raised an eyebrow, "What're you talking about?"
"I had a really weird dreams about your friends playing paintball. Then there was this truck that flew over us.. then cows.. and snapbacks!" RD dashed to the window. "What the..."
"What the hell are you doing?" He looked outside the same window. "There's nothing."
"Well... I... Oh whatever.." She inhales deeply, then exhales. "What did you wake me up for anyway?"
May gave RD a $100 dollar bill. "Everyone is downstairs, you're needed in the airport to pick up someone."
Everyone sat inside Phil's borrowed van, listening to a mixed cassette tape on a radio, as Phil drove. Rainbow spreads her wings to stretch inside the car. Twilight read Catcher in the Rye, sitting inside an egg chair. Lyra and Spike played slept in the back of the van.
"Man, this is tiring!" RD yawned, "How much till we go to Gavin?"
The van is filled with boxes of Cap'n Crunch cereal, old cartons of milk, a few bottles of alcohol and a cooler. Lyra had made the boxes of cereal and cartons into a bed with some pillowcases, turning them into makeshift pillows.
"Rainbow, we just entered the highway. Emeryville is too far from here." Phil said. "Its like an hour or 2 from where we are. So just relax."
Twilight closed her book, "Why're we going to Emeryville again?", she asked.
"Pick up Kevin, remember?"
The two girls looked at each other, "Its already a month?" RD asked. "Felt just like a couple days."
"Summer kinda goes likes that. We're just picking him up again."
"Why? What happened?" Twilight crossed her legs in the egg chair.
"Well, there was some freak weather in the Philippines and he had to evacuate to Hong Kong." Gavin said. He stuck his head out of the window and sneezed. "No one's gonna bless me?" He stuck his head back inside.
"You're Unholy." Phil muttered.
"What did you say?"
"Nothin'..."
The group watched as they pass through San Francisco. They stop inside a parking garage near Pier 39 on the top level, which included a Safeway and a 24 Hour Fitness. They exit out to stretch while the boys clean the van. The ponies, out of boredom, explored the Safeway that was under the garage.
Lyra looked at an ATM to her right, "Hey, any of you have a credit card?"
"Nope." Twilight responded, "Rainbow?"
Rainbow moved her head to the ATM, "Yeah, but its not usable for this ATM."
"Oh..." The girls moved on deeper into the store and looked at some flowers.
The girls stop in front of a building with paint that was wearing off and the ground was dirty. The building had a big sign that said ,'Ernie's Antique Shop, Remember the Past', written in gold letters. A neon sign was hanging on top of the front window with the words 'OPEN' lit up. The girls looked at each other and decided to walk inside.
"Woah, this place is like the thrift store." Lyra commented.
Inside of the store was much cleaner than outside. The wooden flooring left a big shine that mirrored the girls; music plays from the intercom that was composed of the old vinyl records hidden behind the desk; a collection of antique weaponry was stocked in the back of the store.
Twilight stared at the weapons, "Just saying, but why would anyone just leave display weapons out in the open?"
"Relax Twi, they're encased in glass. No one is gonna steal it." RD said in a calm voice. "Besides, no one would steal a medieval ax in the middle of a big city. They'd be caught in a few minutes."
"You know this how?"
"Airport Police officer, remember?"
"...Right" Twilight puts her hands in her pocket.
The music stopped for a moment, a man began to talk through the intercom. "Will the owner of the White Sedan come to the front? You left your lights on!" A man ran outside of the shop to his car. The music went back afterwards.
"So guys, anything you see?" RD asked.
Twi looked at the large book section of the shop. She looked through the books, but nothing seemed to interest her except the books; The Jungle by Upton Sinclair, Of Mice & Men by John Steinbeck and Battle Royale with the cover ripped off. "I got these, only costs $15."
"What about you, Lyra?" RD looked at her watch. 2 in the afternoon..
She looked through the vast vinyl collection, on a rack, next to the books. She had an employee next to her for advise for good music. "So.. What do you recommend for me that is good?"
The employee whistled as he thought, "Hmm, that's tough." He walks towards a section at the end of the rack with the words, 'Legendary' on the top.
"Come on, Twi. Is that all the books?"
"Yup." She places the books on the counter. Another employee scans the books and puts them in a bag.
"$17, plus tax." Twilight gave the employee a 20 dollar bill and received her change. RD looked through the vintage comic section, reading a Harbinger comic. A noise of 2 boys arguing can be heard nearby.
"Spiderman sucks ass, it's all about Deadpool!" An asian kid said.
The other boy, a white teenager, argued back. "No way. Spiderman is better! Deadpool is just some mercenary with no weapons. Spiderman has superpowers." RD rolls her eyes and walks away.
The boys patiently await for the girls to return. Phil smoked a small cigarette outside of the van, sitting on a lawn chair. Gavin his camera to take pictures of places nearby as the sun began to die down, setting the mood for some of his pictures. The radio began to play love songs from the local radio station.
"Hey, did you call the girls?" Gavin took a picture of the ocean.
"Yeah, 15 minutes ago." Phil looked at his phone. "Hmph, 4:39 & still not here."
Gavin used a pair of binoculars to look at the ground. "Oh shit.."
"What?"
"I see... Some crack addicts on the street." He keeps watching them, "They look like they're... doing it..?"
Phil jumps out of his chair, he runs next to his friend, taking the binoculars from his hands. "No they're not! They're just kissing.." He threw the binoculars back to him and wiped his eyes. "Damn, that hurts my eyes"
Suddenly, a gust of wind brushes off the lawn chair, flying off of the parking lot. "The hell!"
RD was carrying the girls around her arms, holding onto their merchandise. "Sorry, Phil! These wings we're meant to fly!" She puts the two ponies on the ground, as with the bags.
Phil spits out some dust from inside his mouth and starts the car. "Alright, kiddies! Uncle Phil is starting up the van!"
"Such a pedophile.." Gavin murmured to himself.
"So.. What did you girls get?" Gavin asked. "Got anything good?"
"I got a couple of old books.." Twilight looked through her receipt, "Anyone know what these books are about?"
"The Jungle is about the meat packing industry in the 1920s & its poor conditions; Of Mice & Men is about these 2 guys looking for work, pretty sad story honestly; and Battle Royale..." He paused. "I don't wanna ruin your reading experience honestly with that."
"Why not?"
"It's kinda scary."
"Why?
"Read it, bookworm."
RD yawned, "Man, this is so boring! We're waiting for your friend & his arrival time has been called on 20 minutes ago!" Her new aviator jacket kept her warm in the cold night at the airport. The driveway was almost jammed with cars picking up their friends and loved ones.
A boy, wearing a trilby hat and nice clothing came up to the van. He carried only a small luggage bag and a black acoustic guitar. He removed his hat and smiled to Twilight and the others. "Hello!" The voice was different, but his face was recognizable.
Everyone looked at the boy's face, it was Kevin. "Hey there."
"...Damn Kevin." Phil spoke to Kevin. "You're not fat this time." They both shook hands and smiled.
"And you're wearing some nice clothing too." Gavin noted. "You must've been a rich person there."
Kevin set his items into the back of the van. "I am! ...Well, was." He bent over and stretched his back. "Anyway, what did you guys do?" Twilight walked towards the new, thin, and fancy Kevin. "Hey Twi.. How's it going?"
"Oh! It's been good!" Twilight hugged Kevin tightly. "Hey, I heard that there was some sort of freak accident in the Philippines. What happened?"
"Oh yeah! Well, there was some sort of purple lightning, it struck into some nearby lemon trees and the fire burned my house down." Kevin took out his phone and showed her the picture of the destroyed house.
Lyra walked towards Kevin. "Hey.."
He glanced at the green haired girl, "Hey.." He stopped for a minute, then continued talking to Twilight.
It was 9:41 PM and everyone was eating inside the van, parked outside of McDonalds. The ponies ate some cheap knockoff cereal they gotten from Safeway earlier. The boys were unwrapping some of Kevin's food he got from the Philippines.
"Kevin." Gavin took his trilby hat. "Dude, where'd you get the hat?"
"The hat store." He said dryly. "Not really, my cousin gave it to me before we had to evacuate."
Twilight sat next to Kevin, "About that weird weather event happening... Wasn't there something unusual with that storm?"
Kevin took his hat back from Gavin. "Just the purple lightning." Gavin looked back at Kevin and the ponies, then looked at Phil.
Twilight's phone rang loudly, scaring some of them. "Oops! Sorry about that!" She checked her phone, it was Seamus. "It's Seamus."
"I'll take care of it." Gavin said. He grabbed Twilight's phone, answered the call and puts it on speaker. He grabs a portion of his right cheek and places the phone near his mouth. He quickly juggles his pinched cheek back and forth, creating a questioning sound.
"Twilight? What the hell?" Seamus said through the phone. The boys and RD bit their tongues to control their laughter. "Twilight, where are you? ..Are you having sex?"
"You guys are so immature." Twilight commented as Seamus hangs up.
Everyone, besides Lyra and Twilight, burst into laughter as he hung up. Lyra sat next to Twilight, playing Temple Run on her phone. "Hey Twilight," She whispered. "I don't like Kevin anymore."
"Why not?" Twilight whispered back. "You two looked like a good pair before."
"Yeah, but that was before! Didn't you notice that he only spoke to me once? Plus, he's so different!"
"And? He's tired. Just look!"
Gavin answers Seamus' call on Twilight's phone again. As Gavin converses with him, Phil, who is driving; RD, who is trying to hold back her laughter; and Kevin, also trying to hold in his laughter, speaks in the background.
"Pass me those drugs, Kevin!" Phil blurted out.
"Gimme a heroin shot, Rainbow!" Kevin blurts into the phone.
"Gavin? What the fuck is going on in the back?" Seamus shouted through the phone. "Is Kevin back? I heard his voice!"
"Yeah.."
Twilight and Lyra gave awkward looks to everyone else. "You know what, I think you're right about Kevin. But you can't just go not liking him without a legitimate reason."
"I guess your right." Lyra's phone dies. "Dang, I was about to reach the high score on Temple Run."
"Oh well," Twilight grabbed a bag of cereal from the fridge. "Let's watch some movies, I guess."
"I guess. I really like Clerks, thanks to Kevin."
The next morning, Twilight studied the patterns of this storm with Kevin and Spike. They were downstairs in the living room, drawing on the chalkboard. The TV was tuned to the Weather Channel, receiving coverage on the storm.
"..And the storm kinda had like a swirl. Like a hurricane." Kevin said as he drew on the chalkboard. "Only the purple lightning was just strange."
"I see."
The TV suddenly emits a piercing sound, a storm alert. The weather reporters begin to talk ."Attention! The storm is beginning to dissipate. Here's Johanna with the live action report." The screen changed to a show Johanna, the weather reporter, in the Philippines, as she is standing inside a large puddle of water.
"Well, Tom!" She cried. "The storms are beginning to die down, but the rain and lightning are still going on!" Suddenly, the camera shocks both Johanna and the cameraman in the puddle. The camera returns to the reporter, shocked as he saw her die. Spike changes the channel to AMC, where a Breaking Bad marathon is on.
"You know what? I think we should work on this later." Spike suggested. "I mean, its dying down. Why not just relax...?"
"Yeah, I guess you're right. We've been up all night talking about this." Twilight opened a can of soda. "I'll drink this and sleep, I guess." She turned to around, "Kevin?" He had fallen asleep on the couch, placing his trilby hat on his face.
August 20th, 2012
"God fucking damn it!" Seamus shouted as he walks into the school office. "School is fucking here!"
"Calm down, we're juniors. Not sophomores." May said.
"Yeah, I know." Twilight said as she ate a granola bar. "Just shut up, you don't wanna get in trouble on the first day."
"Kevin already did." Lyra said.
Lyra, Twilight, May and Seamus stood in line of the office, wearing their school gear. The wind was blowing, the sun was blocked by clouds that Rainbow blew with her wings. Some students were hugging each other and talking about their summer vacation.
The ponies were handed their list of classes.

Seamus turned towards the girls. "Well... Guess we all gotta go to our classes now."
"This fucking school... Sometimes..." Seamus whined as he walked towards the door.
A tall black man overheard his vulgar complaining. "Excuse me, sir! Please step into my office. Now!" Seamus agrees and walks into his office.
"Who's that?" May asked.
"I think that was the new Vice Principal." Lyra said. "I mean, it says it over there to." She points to a picture of the same man with a title saying, 'Vice Principal Hightower'. "Oh well, let's go to class already. I'm kinda excited to meet my teachers!"
1st Period
Twilight walks into her first classroom, Chemistry. The classroom had a set of beakers and tubes all over the front desk. The students, giving each other angered looks, ignore the purple haired girl who just entered. The teacher, who looks to be close to be in his 30s, looks at Twilight.
"Good morning, um..."
"Christina."
The teacher pointed to her seat in the front row. "Please, take your seat over there."
"Ok." She quickly takes her seat and takes out her pencil.
The teacher looked at everyone, then spoke. "Good morning class! My name is Mr. DeLord, and I will be your chemistry teacher." He took out a textbook from a cabinet. "This, class, will be your chemistry textbook." DeLord places down the textbook and grabs a stack of paper. "I'm passing out a piece of paper to you all, what you have to do is go ahead and ask people to sign a square if they have done a certain thing. Like, if Joe has ridden a camel, I'd ask him to write his name in one of the squares."
Twilight raises her hands. "Mr. DeLord, is this what we're going to do all day?"
"Basically."
The period passed by slowly as she gains names of people. She only has 3 squares to fill and she has asked almost everyone. "Gosh, this is so boring." She sat back into her seat and sighed in boredom. "My god, this is so boring. Why am I thinking this is so boring?"
"Its cause this shit is easy." A voice said.
"Seamus?"
"You know it."
"H-How'd you get in here?" Twilight turned her chair backwards. "You're gonna get in trouble!"
"Don't worry, I've snuck into classes before!" Seamus takes out a $5 bill from his pocket. "Oh yeah, here's your allowance."
"I'm getting an allowance?"
"I stole it from Hightower when he wasn't looking." Seamus smiled deviously. "Anyway, wassup?"
"Nothing much. I just store the cash from Hightower and that's i--"
The teacher catches Seamus talking to Twilight. "You! Over there!" DeLord points to Seamus. "Are you in this class?"
"Uh.. Um.. No." Seamus runs out of the door.
DeLord & the class looked at Twilight, "Christina, do you know that guy that ran away?"
"I..." She hesitated. "..Never seen him in my life."
3rd Period
3rd period was Photography for Twilight. Inside, it had a 5 rows computers facing the front of the class. A dark room was located in the back with a basket of props for photography. Pictures of past student work covered the walls, some even covering a window or two. A projector was attached from the ceiling that faced the front side of the room with the board.
The teacher was in her 20s, she was Hispanic with very long hair flowing down to her ankles. She wore a dress that looked like she bought from Macy's or Ross. Calming music was playing in the background, filling the room with an ambient noise of birds and guitar.
The bell had just rung and everyone is coming inside. The teacher stood in front of the room, sitting on a wooden stool. "Sit anywhere you like and look at me! I want to see your faces"
Twilight took the seat near the door, looked at the teacher with a smile.
"Good morning class! My name is Ms. Gonzalez! I'm the photography teacher here at Oakvale High School." The class was silent. " Wow, I can probably tell that this class is gonna be so silent. This is gonna be great." She goes to her desk and pulls up a panel for the kids to read. There were bullet points with questions such as 'Favorite Hobby' and 'Favorite Music'.
"Alright, pumpkins!" She sat on the wooden stool again. "We're gonna introduce ourselves today. I'll go first, then I pick one of you. After that, you can pick whichever person you want."
She cleared her throat. "My name is Ms. Gonzalez. I was born with a French mother and a Mexican father in Arizona. I had one brother and two sisters." She begins to slow down, "I- uh... My father left us when my brother was 10, and it was just terrible. I was always such a bad girl in high school cause my father left and my stepfather was such... a horrible.. horrible person." She stops talking. "Anyway, would anyone wanna volunteer before I start picking?"
"I guess I'll give it a go." Twilight raised her hand.
"Ah! Hello baby, what's your name?" Gonzalez smiled.
"Tw--Christina. But everyone calls me Twilight."
"Twilight. Wow, that's such a beautiful name. Twilight.."
"Thank you."
"Why did they name you that?"
Twilight stopped. "Well, I... Um.."
A voice came from across the room. "It's a long story, Ms. Gonzalez." ha
"Who said that?" Gonzalez asked. Everyone turned and looked at a boy wearing a suit.
"It was me," the voice called as he raised his hand, "I'm sorry."
"Oh my Gosh!" She squealed, "Kevy!" It was Kevin.
"Damn" He said with clenched teeth. She ran up to Kevin with open arms. "Oh shit, Ms. Gonzalez, I hope you're not gonna hug m--Aah!" He jumped out of his chair and started to run away from the teacher. They both ran around the classroom for a minute before Kevin ran inside the dark room, where he locked himself inside. "Son of a bitch!"
Gonzalez looked back at the students. "I'm so sorry, everyone. I just get so excited to seeing some old students that I just wanna give them such a big hug!" The kids stayed silent. "Anyway, I'm sorry Twilight."
"That's alright." Twilight adjusted her chair.
"Please continue." Gonzalez sat back onto the stool.
5th Period
Kevin and Twilight walked down to the gym, meeting up with Lyra in front. In front of the gym, a large crowd of students await for the gym doors to open. "Hey!" Lyra waved to them, they waved back. "Kevin, what class are you taking?"
"Dance."
"Dance? That's cool."
"Yeah, I know."
The doors opened, the kids opened the others as they entered the gym. Twilight, Lyra, and Kevin walked inside and sat on the bleachers closest to the door. The gym was filled with different scents that were either disgusting or with perfumes from the lower-class freshman and sophomores.
A teacher, wearing golf clothing and sporting a beard, directed everyone to the bleachers on the left. The students sat next to their friends and were chatting away at what they did over the summer or how they missed them. Two kids were kissing one step where the trio are sitting in. Everyone started to quiet down as the PE teachers went inside a storage room and Hightower entered.
Hightower took the microphone. "Everyone! Please be quiet, I need you all to be quiet while I read this card." He took out an index card. "Now.. all the way from Southern California, who wrestled a cow and.. beat a frog in thumb wrestling? It's... Mr. Johnson!" Mr. Johnson ran outside from the storage room wielding boxing gloves as they clapped for him. He wore a red beret and a Marvel shirt.
"Now, this teacher has..." He squinted at the card, "Um.. this says that he was been seen in many movies back in the 90s, and 'took 20 advil liqui-gels for headaches.' Why didn't you just take 3 Aleve? Don't try to give him a stroke, Mr. Dick!" Some laughed hysterically, some just clapped.
"Now, this teacher has egged my car, house, my office, my other car... Mrs. Feih!" She held a carton of eggs with her. Hightower tried to use Mr. Dick as a human shield to block her eggs.
Introductions of the PE teachers ended with Ms. Munchi, a woman in her late 30s. After that, the trio were told to follow Mrs. Feih into the dance room. Mrs. Feih tells the students to sit down on the floor and chat a bit, either sitting on the mats or on the wooden floor. Inside the dance room, there were nothing but some rolled up wrestling mats in the back and some plastic rifles.
Lyra talked to Kevin, "Hey, Kevin."
"Yes?"
"Can I see your classes?"
"No.." He gave her the transcript.

"Hmm." Lyra compared her classes with Kevin's. "I have... only dance with you."
"Weird," Twilight said "I almost have the same classes as you."
"That's freaky."
"Ok class!" Mrs. Feih shouted to the class. "My name is Mrs. Feih and I am the dance teacher. I kinda noticed that this year, there's a lot more boys in dance than all my other classes. Well, I'd like to separate the boys and the girls and let everyone talk while I talk to the boys."
Kevin was flipping through his pictures through his phone, "Wait, what?"
"She said all the boys to talk to Mrs. Feih." Twilight said, she turned to Lyra. "Come on, Lyra."
Kevin and 6 other boys walked to the teacher. "Ok, how many of you boys are senior?" The teacher asked. Four boys raised their hands. "Ok, how about juniors?" Kevin and another raised his hand. "Alright, stay here. I'm gonna talk to the girls. You 6 just talk and meet each other." She walks away to the girls.
"So... why'd you guys choose dance?" Kevin asked them.
A japanese kid, wearing a blue hoodie and a hiking backpack, answered first. "I was missing a couple credits for PE and I hated running, so I chose dancing." His accent felt weak, but sounded like it could be better.
Another kid, someone who looks like Kevin before going to the Philippines, answered also. "I.. uh.. I just wanted to do it for the.. you know, girls." He had a nasal voice, Harry Potter glasses and a haircut that looked like he had just gotten out of a brawl.
"I had dancing last year and I wanna do it again." A senior said. He had short curly hair and a flamboyant voice. He was big, looked mixed, and homosexual.
"Why'd you join?" The japanese kid said.
"Oh, you know.. Flipped a coin."
Lyra and Twilight ran towards Kevin at a frightening speed. Lyra pushed Twilight out of the way and hugged Kevin tightly as he was pushed to the wall. "Kevin! Guess what!"
"Ah! The freakin' knob on the locker is stabbing me! What?"
"You and me are dance partners!" Lyra said with an open smile.
"Um.. Ok then? What about Twilight?"
Kevin looked at Twilight, "I'm your partner too. She's just your partner for this semester."
He tries to remove Lyra's arms from his body. "Lyra! I know you're glad about being partners, but get off me! My god, I think I scraped my skin! Help!!"
Lunch
The lunchroom was filled with freshman students getting their lunches. The upperclassmen were found in small pockets of the lunchroom. Everyone talked about their classes and catch up on things such as vacation time and what they had for breakfast. The gang sat in the middle tables which were close to some Freshmen who were picking on them.
"God damn it, those damn freshman are annoying me." Seamus said.
"Relax, don't let them get to you." Kevin took Seamus' chocolate milk carton and drank it.
"That was mine!" He turned back to his plate. *sigh* "Anyway... I can't wait till Friday. Freshman Fridays are easier since the kids are so tiny."
"Freshman Friday?" Twilight looked at the boys. "What's that?"
"It's when like Seniors and Juniors mess with Freshman cause.... they're Freshman." Kevin answered.
"But why?"
"They're annoying! They talk too much, mess around too much, talk shit about people, whatever! They're so damn immature."
"Is this like.. weekly?"
"No, just a one time thing. We only can them, but that's just the first week of school only. Heard that if we get caught, we get suspended and it all depends on how deep with canned them."
'Ouch! That's harsh."
"Anyway, how was 2nd period you guys?"
"Oh my Gosh! That class was terrible!" Twilight cried. "I hate my math teacher so much!"
"Who do you have?"
"Mrs. Hall!"
"You have Mrs. Hall too?" Seamus asked. "That old bitch is racist!"
"I know! We were just talking about that syllabus, and this Asian kid came inside the room and she said, 'Oh great, it's another Asian in this class.' Everyone heard that too!"
"Damn, that's messed up."
"I know.. At least I didn't say anything bad." She sighed, "I can't believe how messed up you people can be sometimes."
"Least we're not like those things your 'Princess Celestia' thought of."
6th Period
"I'm probably gonna find some kid and make him my rival." Kevin said as he entered the classroom with Twilight.
"Why?" Twilight asked.
"No idea."
There were many people Kevin knew, but not Twilight. The teacher, Mr. Stapler, has his formal attire on with a tie. He has words on the board that say 'Go Giants' and a few other sports teams around his work area. His name and background information is also on the board.
"Just take a seat anywhere, class! There's no seating arrangement." Mr. Stapler said to the class.
"Huh, Mr. Stapler... Where does the district get these people?" Kevin said to Twi.
"I know, first Mr. Dick, then Mrs. Cockparty, Now Mr. Stapler?" Twilight replied.
"I feel as if God, or a higher force, did this for amusement. I'm probably gonna leave class if something ridiculous happens..."
"How now, Brown Cow?"
"Very funny..." He said dryly.The two took their seats next to DeVonte, Nathaniel, Dave and Issac, who are really good friends with Kevin.
"Good afternoon everyone!" Mr. Stapler stood in front of the desk. "My name looks like Mr. Stapler, but my name is actually, Magicus-Aspirigasus."
"That's it!" Kevin stood up. "This is getting too ridiculous for me!"
"Um.. Where are you going?" The teacher asked.
"I'm leaving this classroom, right now!" He walks out of class as everyone watches him leave. He comes back three seconds later breathing heavily and scared. "Well, I'm going back to my seat."
"Why?"
"Hightower." Everyone groaned at the word, 'Hightower'.
"Well, anyway, please take your seat."
"Fine, Mr. Magic."
"I was kidding about that, my name isn't really Magicus-Aspirigasus. I thought it'd be funny if I had a funny name since everyone else had one." Mr. Stapler said. "But my last name really IS Stapler, just pronounced differently."
"How does it go?"
"Stapler (Stahp-ler)" He looks at the class, "Anyway, I'm sure you all heard about the things such as reading the syllabus and all that nonsense. Bet you're all tired from that?"
"Yup!" The whole class said together.
"Ok then. Let's not read this since it'll just bore 99% of the class anyway."
25 Minutes of School Left
"I'm bored." Nathan whispered. His long hair covered half of his face that was riddled with acne.
"Me too." DeVonte whispered back.
Twilight pulled herself into the conversation. "Hey, do you guys heard about that purple lightning over in the Philippines?"
"Yeah," DeVonte answered, "I hope my Lolo and my other family members are safe."
"Lolo?"
"It means grandpa in Tagalog."
"I never knew you were Filipino. I thought Kevin was the only Filipino here."
"Nah, my momma is Filipino. My dad is black, but he left when I was like 5."
Twilight was shocked, "I'm so sorry."
"That's cool, though. You didn't do anything wrong."
Nathan looks at Kevin, "Heh, I'm surprised Kevin hasn't said anything bad yet."
"Yet."
"Kevin's just waiting for the right time. Cause he's full Asian."
"I like whispering too!" Mr. Stapler whispered loudly as he crouched down. The others were surprised and went back to work.
"Me too!" Kevin whispered back.
"What were you guys talking about?"
"We're talking about candy!"
"I like Reese's Pieces!"
Their whispers grow louder, amusing the class with their nonsensical whispering. This went on for the rest of class and before anyone knew it, the class ends.
"Goodbye! Remember, 1,3,5 days tomorrow!" Mr. Stapler shouted.
"Um.. Stapler?" He looked down to Kevin. "We're still here.."
Hey Guys, Hope you all have a happy Halloween! ...Or Nightmare Night, whichever suits you best. Not feeling too good for writing anything with schoolwork and all. Anyway, here's an attempt to write a Halloween Special. Hope you like it. Also, prayers go to victims of Hurricane Sandy.
It's Halloween morning in Oakvale, it was a dark and cloudy day, and everybody dressed in their costumes. Twilight, dressed as a librarian with some purple reading glasses, was putting on her stockings. Seamus, starting the car, wears a homemade ghillie suit wielding a NERF gun. May and Lyra wore the same shirts that said, 'Twins 4ever!'. May had dyed her hair light green.
"Are you ready?" Lyra asked Twilight. "I'm not too excited to go to school. However, I just want to finish the dance."
"I hate the dance!" Twilight complained. "I mean, the dance is too fast and too complicated! Remember when that one guy accidentally let me go and I crashed onto the floor?"
"Still mad at him? At least he apologized." Lyra sat next to her. "C'mon, just tell Mrs. Feih that you don't wanna dance with him privately. And if she can't, then relax! It's only a Wednesday, you only have to dance with him for 45 minutes."
Twilight looked at Lyra, "I guess.." She stood up and walked downstairs to the car.
Inside the car, Seamus plays music from his phone through a cassette tape with Twilight by her side. Lyra and May do their homework inside the car. They are on the highway, sharing the road with a few cars and motorcyclists.
"Seamus?" Twilight turned down the volume.
"Yes?"
"Why're you wearing that thing to school?"
"I... Don't know honestly. I just like it."
"Um.. Ok then."
"Why? Does it bother you?"
"Kinda." She moved closer to the door and pinched her nose. "I mean, its all dusty. I'm trying not to sneeze. And besides, you're driving the car with the helmet on!"
"Sorry, I just found this in the attic and I wanted to try it out." Seamus sneezed, making his hands forcefully turned to the left. Everyone inside the car began to scream. Books and backpacks flew inside the car like a tornado. The car crashed onto the railings and popped the left wheel.
"Well, would you look at that?" He removed his helmet calmly. "Is everyone ok?" May reaches over and punches his brother in the face.
1st Period
"Oh Gosh, I'm so messy!" Twi said as she walked towards her classroom. "At least I'm safe." Her dress was dirty and her hair was a bit mangled. She opens the door to her class. There was a silence all over class as she entered.
"Morning Twilight!" DeLord said to her.
"Morning." She walked hastily to her seat.
"What are you dressed as?"
"Uh.. I'm a librarian.." She rubbed the back of her neck.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! I get it! She's a zombie!" A person cried out obnoxiously. It was Kevin and DeVonte, pushing a cart laptops.
Twilight looked back. "Woah, Kevin? What're you doing here?"
"Mrs. Rai wanted us to bring these laptops to DeLord's room." He looked at DeLord. "Here ya go, sir."
"Thank you, sir."
"No problem." He walked towards her desk, "You're welcome, dear." Twilight playfully pushes Kevin away. The two walk outside of the classroom, talking to each other.
DeLord grabbed the laptops and passed them out to everyone. "Now class, don't turn on the laptops until I say so. We're having difficulty with technology so bare with it. Twilight's row, turn them on."
She pressed the power button and waited patiently. Her partner, Courtney, pulls out a USB. She wore a red turtleneck with bat hairclips. "Hey, Twi.." She said with a sad expression
"Hey, Courtney! How're you?"
"Terrible."
"Why? What happened?"
"I was almost in a car accident this morning." She had a tear going down. "I almost died."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"It's ok... Hey, does this look bad?" Courtney pulled her sleeve all the way out. There were words written on her arm.
"What the?" She took a closer look. "...Don't look behind you." She was confused. "Don't look behind me? What the.." She looked behind and saw a horrific mask in front of her. The face looked and smelled like cheese; had one eye that was completely red and the other popping out; and fake plastic worm going through its nostrils. "AAAAAAHHH!!!!" She fell off of her chair as she shrieked.
The mask drops onto Twi's face, making her twitch and run to a corner. People began to laugh at her as she hides in the corner. "What happened?" She looked directly at the teacher, who was standing next to her chair and picking up the mask.
"Um.. Dan did it." He points to Dan who sat next to Brad and ran out of the door.
3rd Period
Twilight and Kevin talk near the dark room. Kevin, dressed nicely with a suit and bow, combs his hair.
"Heard what happened to you and Seamus?"
"Seamus sneezed and we had a flat tire."
"Damn, that sucks."
"I know. Anyway, what're you supposed to be?"
Kevin sighs, "Psy..." He said with remorse. "They told me to dress as... Psy.."
"What's so bad about Psy?"
He chuckles a bit, "Watch. When the class ends, people are gonna ask me to do freakin' Gangnam Style."
"Oh, I see. I hear its all over."
"I know, I originally didn't wanna be this. I wanted to be a fucking hacker from Command and Conquer: Generals, but I forgot to get these items: A uniform, a backpack, a beanie, and some of those big fake glasses."
"Oh well, you have a long time to get those for next Halloween."
"I guess."
"Okay guys and girls!" Mrs. Gonzalez blew her whistle. The kids sat down in their seats, Kevin and Twi sat next to each other. "You're all on my time so let's get this started! What're you guys gonna do on Halloween? But first, how're these new seating arrangements working?" She wore a black gown and held a broom in one hand.
"Good!" Kevin answers.
"That was rhetorical."
"Oh.."
Time moved slowly as Twilight and Kevin browsed through pictures of a famous photographer. The photographer took photos of food and landscapes with an abstract feel. Kevin looks through a gallery of food, licking his lips.
"God damn. This gallery is making me hungry..." He reaches into his bag and pulls out a bag of chips. People around him are stupefied.
"What? I'm not gonna share with you guys! Fuck off."
"Hey Kevin, this kind of reminds me of Nightmare Night."
"Oh yeah, I think I remember you telling me this. You said something about Nightmare Moon or whatever, trying to eat some kids souls?"
"Yup!" Twilight stretches her back. "I just realized that it's kinda like Halloween! I mean, we dress up in costumes and do give candy away." Twilight recollects her memories of her times doing Nightmare Night. "Are you gonna go trick-or-treating?"
"Possibly."
Cooper Residence
It was 6:19 PM, and it was getting dark. Everyone was getting ready to let their doors open to trick-or-treaters. Outside of the porch, speakers and a hidden camera were installed and connected to a small laptop, which was connected in the living room, that played frightening, yet calm ambient music, to fill the neighborhood. A few pieces of fake moss on the roof and some knives that Seamus threw onto the house to give a bit of a insane and unsafe feeling. Rainbow Dash had just gotten back from work, still wearing her uniform. Kevin came by the door wielding a fake bowie knife, and wearing a similar mask to which Mr. DeLord was wearing.
"Sup Kevin." Seamus said as he opened the door. He wore his ghillie suit from this morning with a few blotches of fake blood an oil "You look ugly."
"Thanks."
"You ready to scare the kids?"
"Possibly." He said in the most frank expression.
Twilight and RD walked into the living room holding the bowl of candy. "What're you guys doing?" RD asked the two boys. "Are you gonna scare some kids?"
"Maybe."
"C'mon, you guys. This is kinda shady, I mean, they're just little kids. Why scare them away?"
"Rainbow, this is the first time I heard you say that you don't wanna scare kids."
"What? Of course, I wanna scare kids! But with what Kevin has, he's gonna scare the kids away from this house." RD took a brief pause. "Nah, I'm just kidding! Let's scare them till they have nightmares!"
The doorbell rang.
"Our first victim..." Kevin prepared his knife.
RD opened the door. There were a three little trick-or-treaters which looked to be 7 year old. They all screamed Trick or Treat to her as she stepped out.
"Here you go!" RD lowered the candy bowl to them. "Grab one!" She heard one of the kids say, 'yes ma'am, to her. The kids soon said thanks and left to go into the neighbor's house.
Kevin peaked out, "Do we go now--"
"Not yet. Here comes another one! You'll know the signal."
Two young men, wearing casual wear with name tags, walked up to the door. They both said their saying and were offered their candy. She spoke to the boys in boldest she can, "So, how're you two doing this evening?", still wearing her police uniform.
"Pretty good." One of them, who's name was Tom said. "We just got started."
"I see." RD looked behind her. "So, have you boys heard stories about this house?"
"What stories?"
"Well, this old house here had its turn of insane people. There was Jerry McCullohan, who went insane after hearing satanic language coming from nowhere and shot himself. And another, Tom Burke, who fell onto a hot oven and melted his face." She laid back onto the nearest post that supported the patio. "And all he wanted was to bake his mom some cheese cake.."
The two boys looked at each other, looked behind, then towards Rainbow. "Well, I think we gotta go. Heh heh, I guess we'll see you on the road, I guess." The two walked backwards walking down the stairs. Suddenly, Kevin, who was wearing the mask; placed his hand on the boys' shoulders. They slowly looked back to see him.
"Don't look at me!" He said in a deathly raspy voice, "I smell like..... *sniff* *sniff* CHEESE!!"
"AAAAHHHHH!!!" The boys ran away screaming, nearly getting hit by a small car. Everyone laughed as Seamus records the whole thing from the mounted camera.
"Holy shit! That was fucking funny!" Seamus shouted from inside the 2nd floor bathroom.
Twilight went outside with RD. "Let me scare the next one."
"Go ahead, egghead. See what happens." Three high school girls, wearing a fairy dress, a cat, and a hula dancer, walk up to Twilight with open bags.
"Trick or Treat!" They exclaimed. "Can we get candy?"
"Sure!" Twilight opened the bowl for them to get from. "..So, have you girls heard of what happened in the house?"
"No?" The hula dancer answered.
"Well..." Twi looks back at RD, "I heard that strange things have been happening here."
"Pfft, there's no way."
"Oh, I'm serious.. Like, there have been reports of.. of.." She hesitates, "Falling objects from above and.. stuff!"
"Oh yeah, sure! Like we're gonna believe that!" The girl in the car costume said in disbelief.
The fairy looked at Twilight, "You're probably the worst liar I've ever heard! So just shut up!"
Twilight was shocked, frozen in place. RD, memorized the girls with great detail. Trying to remember each one of their faces and features.
Out of the blue, a knife falls from above and nearly hits the fairy on the head. "HOLY--!!" She screamed. Two more knives falls out from the sky, nearly hitting the fairy again.
"Run!" The hula girl screamed. The three girls ran away, bumping into children as objects fell from up above.
It was 10 PM and almost everyone was closing shop. Candles inside the pumpkins were dying, trying to gasp for air. Trick or treaters were returning home after a long and fun day. The whole neighborhood was completely dead, deader than the night.
"So.. How was your first Halloween, you guys?" Kevin asked the ponies. "Great, I hope?"
"It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either." Answered Twilight. "I mean, first the whole situation with the car and like what happened just recently."
Kevin turned to Spike, who was wearing a dragon costume. "So dude, how's your first Halloween in the human world?"
"Awesome!" He took out a $50 dollar bill from his pumpkin pail. "Won this in a costume contest down by the church across the highway! Lyra and May got 2nd place together."
"Really? Sweet!" Kevin yawned. He saw Seamus come into the kitchen. "Hey Seamus."
Twilight looked at Seamus, "Hey, did you see what happened to those three girls? There were knives that fell from the sky!"
"Really? Weird." He said in a dry voice. "I didn't really see anything. I was just throwing some garbage ou-- Oh! Yeah, I think I know what happened."
"What happened?"
"I threw some old kitchen knives onto the front porch, stupid, I know, and I was throwing away some garbage I found in the upstairs bathroom through the window. Some of the items must have knocked over the knives."
"What?!"
"I know, but just relax! At least no one got hurt, right?"
"Yeah.. I guess."
Kevin yawned, "Well, I'm gonna hit the hay. I"ll see you guys later." He leaves the household with the door slamming.
Seamus opens up a packet of candy. "Anyone gonna sleep too--" To his surprise, everyone was sleeping. "Well..." He takes Spike's $50 and the girls $20s from their buckets. "That'll be mine." He dims the kitchen lights and walks upstairs to his room, saying Goodnight before entering his room.
"Tell us the story about the time you were in Finn's Mart!" May demanded Kevin, "I wanna hear what happened too!"
Kevin sat on top of a table near the gym. "Alright. Alright. God, you guys just want to hear my stories." He cleared his throat and spoke. "So, I was walking around Finn's Mart cause I wanted to buy some milk for my cereal. As I was checking out my carton of milk. I saw this old couple, looked to be around in their late 50's."
"Ok. What happened next? May asked with curiosity. She and a few of her friends gotten closer to him to listen.
"Well, I overheard the old man talking to the greeter. He said this," He pauses to emulate his voice as an old man, "Do ya know where I can get dog collars?" Kevin stopped his old man voice, "Then the woman said," He emulates an old woman's voice with quivering arms to act as someone with old weak bones, "Thomas, you idiot! We don't own one--!"
"What happened after that?" One of May's friends interrupted him.
"Well, I heard the old man say," He pauses again for the old man's voice. "I know, but I gotta keep ya in line, bitch."
Everyone were inside the mall's new food court. 7 restaurants and 4 kiosks filled the room with a big variety of different foods ranging from processed fast food to organic and healthy sandwiches. The gang sat nearby a sushi kiosk that overlooked the merry-go-round.
"Hey, guys?" Twilight looked at everyone. "You guys remember that storm that happened in the Philippines? Does anyone know what happened after?"
"I dunno." RD looked at the worrying Twilight. "You need to relax, Twilight."
"I know," She sighed "But I just can't shake the feeling. I get this weird feeling that it wants us to go look at it closer."
Lyra looks at the two ponies, "Where is this portal going to be in? It's been 5 months or so since we've been together and there is nothing that screams out portal."
"I don't know." RD massaged her forehead softly with her fist, "I don't know all the answers." There was a bright red visible bruise on her forehead.
"What's with the bruise on your head?"
"Nothing, just from work."
The television from the nearby sushi kiosk immediately turned to the color bars that were used when a channel has been off air. A vertical bar appeared with letters on that tells the viewers about the situation. One of clerks changed the channel to the requested station.
The news station was holding a special broadcast on a new storm that is heading towards California from Hawaii. "News about the storm that nearly destroyed the Philippines. The hurricane, now named Hank, is not measurable at the moment. The meteorologist has stated that Hurricane Hank is slowly moving towards Hawaii, but the winds are very severe and are calling to everyone to remain calm and be prepared."
The gang looked at each other with confusion and fear in their eyes. Seamus and May looked at each other with worried looks. The ponies continued to watch the news broadcast as it updates on the current situation of the hurricane. Kevin, Phil, and everyone else in the group whispered quietly to themselves. The whole food court became silent after that, only the sounds of mall music and other people filled the silence of the food court.
"Rainbow?" Twilight looked at her, "Do you think you can fly to Hawaii fast enough? This storm is unusual."
RD looks at Twilight seeing a curious, yet worried look on her face. "Sure, I guess." She walks outside to the parking lot, the last image the gang saw of her was a plastic soda cup falling from the sky and a big gust of wind that turned some of the car alarms on.
The ones who remained inside the mall: The Coopers, The Ponies, Kevin and Gavin, sat around the inner courtyard. Known as the Musical Plaza, it was home to where most of the music is located to buy, sell, or trade for a decent price. It is usually filled with people who come to talk about their music choices or perform in the center, or Music Square. The gang sat close to one of the stores, it was playing Sister Midnight from one of the speakers.
"Doesn't this seem weird?" Twilight inquired, "I mean, the hurricane destroys the Philippines and its coming for Hawaii, then California! There is just no way for that to happen."
"It's possible," Gavin replied "I mean, hurricanes can turn from their predicted area to somewhere different. A hurricane might look like it'll hit, let's say Cuba, but it hit's Mexico instead."
"But going from the Philippines to Hawaii? I don't think it's possible." Seamus uttered to Gavin.
May took her turn to speak. "Maybe the wind currents changed? Hurricanes need a warm front and a cold front to hit each other and form. It's possible that wind currents can change."
"This conversation is getting a bit too science-y for me." Kevin grabs his soda cup. "I'm gonna leave before you guys ask the Asian for answers. See ya."
Twilight grabs his hand forcefully. "You're not going anywhere!"
"Damn." Kevin expressed dryly.
A text tone comes from Twilight's phone. She has received pictures that looked, in a way, a rotating wall of water heading towards the islands. She had received more pictures from Rainbow and a few texts describing the hurricane.
Twilight read the texts aloud, "She says, 'Hurricane is huge. Larg ewalls of watre 10 stories high floddin Hawaii. Theres purple lightning hittin ships n killin fish. Gonna turn bak now b4 suckd in.'"
"I hope she's ok." May looked at the sky.
"Aside from her spelling errors, she should be ok. I wonder how close she got to the thing." Seamus looked at the sky as well.
A fast moving object came hurtling towards Musical Plaza. The object quickly became visible and known to everyone. It was a girl with beat up wings going to crash into the Music Square.
"Rainbow Dash!" The gang quickly shouted. Out of instinct, Kevin quickly ran onto the Music Square in a catching position. Rainbow collides with Kevin as he is pushed back in the air trying to catch her. His body crashes through another music store that sells vinyl records and woodwind instruments.
People crowd around the broken window to see what happened, some of them took a closer look at Rainbow. Her wings were mangled and had a couple scrapes on her body. Kevin's hands were wrapped under her wings to catch her as she came down. The gang went through the shop's door and quickly took the bodies away from the scene. The shop keeper, who had an X near his eye, comes out of the backroom to see the mess in his store.
"Hey! What the hell happened?!" He saw the gang dragging the body out of the store, "You! You're all gonna pay for all the broken records and instruments!"
In a swift reflex, Gavin turns to the shop keeper. "Fuck you, shop keep!" He slams the door behind him causing a bassoon to fall off the wall, smashing the glass case on the counter.
Back at the Cooper residence, Rainbow and Kevin lay unconscious on Twilight's bed. Spike examined the two, with precision, as he wore medical scrubs. The TV downstairs was turned to CNN as Twilight kept watch of the hurricane as details unfolded.
Seamus brought down a plasma screen television downstairs. "You know, this hurricane is just taking all of your interest, isn't it?" He said with a tired breath.
Her excitement was getting to her, "Well, all I know is that Rainbow got injured as she tried to take pictures of the hurricane. It's possible that she got caught in it and got a glimpse of the eye!" However, her excitement turned to regret, "But... I got Rainbow Dash and Kevin hurt in the process. I feel like a terrible friend.."
Seamus connects the plasma screen into the cable box. "Don't feel bad. They're you're friends, they don't hate you for hurting them."
Twilight looked down to her overlapping hands "*sigh* I hope you're right."
The TV turns to HROK 4, a local news station based in San Francisco. A fuzzy low quality photo was shown on screen of Rainbow Dash floating above the Hawaiian Islands.
"Woah! It's Rainbow!" Seamus sat next to Twilight. One of the pictures shows Rainbow being sucked up by the hurricane as it forcefully rips apart the feathers from the wings.
"I can't watch this!" Twilight places her heads on Seamus' shoulder. "This is terrible!"
The clip stops and returns to one of the anchors. "That was a clip of, what looks to be, an angel watching over Hawaii."
"An angel?" He leans a bit closer to the TV. "Never thought of Rainbow as an angel."
"There are also reports of a similar angel that has been reported in the Oakvale area." Fuzzy pictures were shown on the television of Rainbow hurtling down. Another picture is shown with Kevin grabbing her, then another going through the window. The final picture shows the two inside the shop holding each other, suggestively from a high resolution camera. "We have received information from an eye witness, who told us about the incident."
"Eye witness?" The two said simultaneously.
A recording of the shop keeper in the mall is shown talking into the microphone. He had scar of an X on his right cheek and a his face was red with anger. "I saw those those two kids! They crashed into my store and destroyed everything!" The scene changes to show the damage and debris Rainbow had created. "Those two.. DAMN kids... are going to make me broke! And one of them told me to [bleep] off!"
"Damn.. That guy must be pissed." Seamus commented dryly.
The anchor is shown again back at the studio, "If you have any kind of information or pictures of these 'angels', call our station. The number for the HROK 4 station appears on the screen with a Facebook and Twitter page.
"Oh Gosh! Celestia is going to kill me!" Twilight went into fetal position. "I injured Rainbow and made her real self into the public! Celestia is going to kill me and banish me to the moon!"
He grabs her hands, "Twilight!" He looked at her in the eye as he spoke in a calm, soothing voice, "It'll be okay! No one is going to kill you. Your Celestia will understand what happened and you won't be banish. Even if she were to come down here herself, we'll take all of the blame for everything. We're your friends, and friends are there for each other."
Twilight calmed down. "Y-you're right. You guys give me food, a place to live, and friends. You guys helped me my first day and I've been grateful that you all have been here for me. You guys are like.. a family.. a human family." She leans over to hug him.
