One year.

About a month ago last year, my best friend showed me a video. You may have heard of it. It's called "Apple.mov". Aside from the general confusion at the scene portrayed, I wondered what the hay could have inspired such a messed up, strange video. Now, this wondering only got worse when, a week later, he showed me "Shed.mov". A couple more weeks and I caved, watching the first episode. I knew what was going to happen. I would find that some guy was having fun smashing a terrible series, and that would be that.

However! I decide to keep an open mind about it, like I do for any book. My standard is, watch/read 1/4 of what there is. So, it looked like I was in it for 13 episodes, for better or worse.

Setup... Huh, puns. I like puns. I like them a lot.                         Wait, is the villain supposed to be trying to wipe out all life?

I skip the intro; it is the worst possible thing.

I laugh, and it isn't _at _ the show. No, it's _with _ the show. Must be a fluke.

Fast forward 11 episodes. I've just clicked on the link to episode 13, hoping for a Pinkie episode.

Wait... hoping...? Doesn't that mean... that... I... like it?

Yes, yes it did. A year later, I have gained a couple of good friends. I'm looking forward to making more. And the words, Celestia, the words. 10.9 mill read, likely a couple hundred thousand edited, and over 50 thousand written. (With more on the way, I promise.)

I've laughed. I've cried. I've learned. I've grown. I've done things I never thought I would do.

Until last October, writing was my absolute most hated thing to do. I abhorred it. Now, I've got a story up, another in the works, and an essay submitted for an Etna award. (I don't know how that will go, but I can hope.)

I'm going to thank you all for your support and any kind words you've sent my way. Truly, they mean a lot. I'm also going to apologies for the huge gap between the last chapter and the epilogue. I have a plan, but I have to get the time to make it work right.
