A month after the events of "Her Sword, Shield, and Friend" Princess Luna, Night Wing, and Flourish are sent on vacation by Princess Celestia in attempt to get Luna out of Canterlot a bit.

Inspired by The Roommate by the ever awesome totallynotabrony. At the end of his story he posed the challenge and this came to mind. Its a bit of a self insert but I promise there will be no ego flaunting or anything like that. I'd say I'm staying realistic to my actual life but the pony thing kind of makes that impossible. Oh, and the romance will not be between me and Vinyl. Thought I should clear that up lest I spook potential readers. And as far as language there's a strong word here and there but it's not frequent enough for a mature tag.

This is the journal of Devin Windelbane, a young pegasus who left Cloudsdale to make a life for himself.

For those of you who have read my story "Her Sword, Shield, and Friend" this is the story of Night Wing's early years fleshed out. I know doing it as a journal isn't the most original idea ever but it is what it is.

Rated T because of mild language. Nothing too bad but I figure I should mark it anyways, better safe than sorry.

Something that hit me completely out of nowhere as I was about to go to sleep that I HAD to get down. As it developed it transformed from a oneshot to sort of a interlude between "Her Sword, Shield, and Friend" and "A Fresh Perspective". While it is an interlude you don't have to read "Her Sword, Shield, and Friend" to understand this story. It can stand on its own.

Strangely inspired by the credits song to the Discovery Channel's special "Mermaids: The Body Found" which was an excerpt from Flugufrelsarinn by the Kronos Quartet. I believe it was mixed with some of the calls from the acoustic anomaly known as the bloop.

A collection of short, and probably stupid, stories hosted by Discord.

Yeah... This is one of those things that sounds stupid but you write it anyway because its that fun kind of stupid like Ed, Edd, and Eddy. The way this works is I'm going to attempt a bunch of random one-shot stories in a bunch of different genres. The whole thing is a bit of a homage to RatherHomely. A lot of the genre cliches I'll be poking fun at come from his riffs in Mystery Pinky Pie Theater 3000, and some of the styling is inspired by Extremely Terrible and Horrifying Stories (both of which you should totally go read) so if you enjoy this, you can thank for Homely for being awesome and inspiring. I know I do.

I'd also like to thank my friend, who doesn't have an account here so I'm just gonna refer to him by his general internet persona, Jon3Mac for the original idea of Quills and the idea of Discord narrating. Our brainstorm led to the birth of this crime against nature and we couldn't be more pleased.
