Brony, Whovian, gamer, writer, reviewer, riffer, have a beard... I guess that's pretty much it.
Greetings to all the loyal followers and readers (or those who accidentally find this place):
For those of you who didn't notice yesterday, The Lovers' Edda has come to an end. It's a strange feeling. It's hard to look at a finished story and know that you won't touch it ever again (save for probably polishing the small issues here and there if someone point them out). It's been an interesting journey, where not only the main characters have grown and learned, but so did I. While I'm still far from proficient (much less
Today is a glorious day for me. I passed the CPE exam with a 74/100. After all my suffering thinking I failed, I finally can rest, relaxed knowing that there's nothing to worry about. And now, I'm going to celebrate by watching Sharknado with my friend while enjoying a nice, cold beer. See you all!
Well, my laptop's plug broke, so I can't login (mobile typing is a pain). I can't write, riff, review or do anythig until I get a new charger/fix the old one. Also, my good friend is coming for a few days to visit. Goona watch Vikings (and probably live riff it to death), more Doctor Who and Broadchurch. Anyways, no updates until I can get my hands in a new charger. At least I have Disgaea 2 on my PSP. This will help me kill time
Oh, and to all Americans out there, happy 4th of July!
It's surprising how long this takes.
I know this is close to irrelevant to most of you while scream "we want updates!", but I have a reason for my delays in both writing and riffing. Okay it's an excuse that MIGHT not justify all the delays, but this is basically it.
Sometimes there's gold in a story.
Unconsciously, sometimes authors, including me, mess up something in a story. The most common mistake during writing involves using female pronouns with male characters. Let's face it, when writing about a world where 90% of the characters are females, it's a common and understandable mistake.
I've been writing fanfiction for over the course of almost two years now, and I wrote my own stuff that was not fanfiction. I've touched every imaginable greater gender with more or less success. This comes to mind because part of me would like to put adult-only stories aside in a different account, but I know that I wrote them, so it wouldn't work for me. I know the consequences of publishing basically everything I write here, but I consider myself a proficient writer, capable of pulling
Here we are again, sooner than I expected.
I never thought I was going to get asked to riff a fic. I still consider myself quite... unknown among the riffing crew. However, I was asking for a one-shot, non-clop story to riff and the author, who is also a dear friend of mine, sent me his story.
This keeps going.
