My Little Viking, Chapter 6 · 1:10pm May 17th, 2013
This keeps going.
Despite the events that took place between the author of this story and me, I'm still riffing this, firstly because I've sworn to finish it. Secondly, I still consider that I'm doing a good job with this. Riffing is a way of criticizing a story, maybe different from the usual review, but as you read through it and have a good laugh, you still see a grasp of truth in a riffer's words, a good one at least. Riffing is NOT laughing at the author's face; it's mocking the story's mistakes, but in a satirical or sarcastic way. However, behind the mockeries of a riffer, there's also a gate for fixing said mistakes.
I am aware that the author is not going to change anything from the story, he said it specifically when we agreed to pretend to ignore each other's existence. But even if he considers the riff morally shattering, I'd recommend him to take a look at it. At least so the issues he has in the story get fixed in future chapters or different stories.
With that said, I'll let the link of the riff of the new chapter here.
