Temporary hiatus due to intense course

I have tried taking it with a positive view, but considering the circumstances, I might have to put writing and drawing away for a few weeks. I didn't think it was going to be so time consuming, but the course is an intense 12-weeks course compressed into 6, and the physical training I haven't done in probably years. My classic "I will run when they come lookin' for me"ideology is taking its

As if I needed more reasons to be a slow writer

I've always had reasons to not write/draw while following a specific schedule. Most of them being:

    -Gaming like a mofo.
    -Exhausted from house chores.
    -Simply not feeling like it.
    -Lack of inspiration.
-Friends come to visit (extremely rare)

Why I seem to be dead around here these days

I've seen a lot of blogs these days commenting about fake suicide notes and stuff like that. Not a pretty sight. I was going through a bit of an ordeal myself, but I didn't feel like bothering anyone around here with it, so I moved forward. Anyway, that's not the point of all this, but it's true that the idea of being called out because of all the ones posting lies for attention really didn't

    I draw (horribly) too!

So, after almost a month full of delays and mishaps, I was able to get my tablet. Suffice to say, I wasn't an outstanding artist before I got this thing, and getting used to it (and learning how to use it) takes time. Ever new drawing shows that I'm slowly adapting to it, but I still was a mediocre artist when I started. For any of you interested, there's actually a comic I'm working on that

Temporary hiatus due to intense course · 9:23am Nov 19th, 2014

I have tried taking it with a positive view, but considering the circumstances, I might have to put writing and drawing away for a few weeks. I didn't think it was going to be so time consuming, but the course is an intense 12-weeks course compressed into 6, and the physical training I haven't done in probably years. My classic "I will run when they come lookin' for me"ideology is taking its toll. Not only are the classes 4-5 hours a day 5 days a week, but I also have to study and train while trying not to die in the agonizing pain my body gives me the day after exercising, as if he were saying. "Dude, why? We had a deal with the bed and the couch!"

So yeah, even if after the course is done I still have to study and get prepared for the physical tests, at least those extra hours I am currently spending in class... maybe I could write or draw. Until then, it is time to work hard to earn my badge.
