Sometimes there's gold in a story.
Unconsciously, sometimes authors, including me, mess up something in a story. The most common mistake during writing involves using female pronouns with male characters. Let's face it, when writing about a world where 90% of the characters are females, it's a common and understandable mistake.
Typos are a common mistake too, and one that, when the typo creates a word that exists in English, can't be fixed that easily (autocorrect doesn't detect it as a "mistake", and you might overlook it through a second reading if you don't wait a few days before doing so). This last case made this specific riff one of my favorites.
