Twilight stopped and looked over her shoulder solemnly as the rest of her friends filed out the door wordlessly. "I know."

The door slammed shut, and Pinkie Pie was all alone.

It never meant to happen; it never should have happened. It was obvious that no one knew, nor was ever supposed to know. But becoming a princess gives you some insight, and the reason for my transformation soon became very clear. Princess Luna was dead, and I was to going to give her life.

When Rosie Note wrote her first short story in grade school, she was ecstatic to see a pen and paper emblazoned on her flank. Writing would be her talent, the skill that would define the rest of her life. However, she later realized a greater passion for singing, but was not trusted as a performer, since she bore the mark of a writer.

Now equipped with her brains and ambition, she sets out to make a deal with the devil in return for the chance of a lifetime. With the help of a new friend along the way, will she be able to live her new dream? And how far will she go to change her destiny?
