As you might have guessed, this is the beginning of the end of the story. There's just a bit left that I want to do, but there will be room for an epilogue or even a sequel. This is a bit of a personal milestone for myself. Hitting 10 chapters published. I have a nasty habit of starting something and after a short while something else grabs my attention and I end up constantly leaving these barely started projects laying around. The fact that I have done 10 weeks of this and produced, in my own humble opinion, 10 great chapters is a huge deal.

This is the first chapter I've gone into without the mindset of "Stick to less than 3k words" and without my free form make it up as I go plan. That's right, up to this chapter, while I had an outline of sorts, I didn't exactly have a plan. It was more event A happens and then event B happens, and if event A took the whole chapter then event B was moved to the next chapter.

So I finally got around to collecting all my thoughts into a more structured outline, complete with "this goes in this chapter here" notes. Turns out I have way more stuff to share than I could fit into my original 12 chapter goal. At the moment, I have up through chapter 14 outlined, and that's not the end of the story so there will be more than 14 chapters. Huzzah!

As I mentioned in the Author's Notes, this chapter is the start of a turning point in the story. These first 4 chapters were mostly character and world set up, getting all the pieces in place so that you all, the readers, have an understanding of the way the world works. Of course, there is still a lot left for Twilight to figure out, but that will come in time. The next chapter will start pushing into the "main plot" of the story.

Well, after making a few last minutes changes to the format and correcting a few errors that slipped through, I've published Chapter 2.
