Yeah, it's been a bit like that on my stories and blog lately. Sorry about that.
CAUTION: User is British, and thus may use British spellings. Expect an 'S' where you'd normally find a 'Z' and the letter 'U' in places you never thought you'd see it. You have been warned. :P

Another blog post? In such close temporal proximity to the previous one? Yep, you'd better believe it!
I was having a little think to myself earlier on, after reading a few friends' blog posts about stories which inspire them. I had a little muse about which fics most directly inspired me and what I do, and how they did it. After much puzzling and a frankly indecent amount of thought, I think the following fics had the most profound effect on my FimFic "career":
Hello, people who inexplicably follow me. Just thought I'd drop a little message to say I'm sorry that updates have slowed to a crawl. Yes, updates ARE coming at some stage, honestly! Just had a lot on my plate lately, and continue to do so at the moment.
Any of my fellow changeling fans out there - go and insert THIS into your eyeballs. OK so it's in the featured box, but I thought I'd raise awareness of it here as well.
... yeah, let me just go and delete those "wait and watch the episode!" blog posts.
Just a quick blog post to apologise for my slow updating. Got some of that pesky "real life" stuff in the way at the moment, a set of circumstances so dire that I'm completely nonchalant about today's episode. That's right, things are so bad I'm not even bothered about today's possible implications! Ponies have definitely taken a back seat for the time being. I was hoping to have BITC finished by now, but obviously that hasn't come to pass. I *will* try and get another chapter up in the next
Yes, I'm jumping on the Q and A bandwagon, and I have NO REGRETS*. None at all.
Without wanting to give too much away, I thought it was great. Solidly written and animated, I got a sort of season-one-ish vibe from it in terms of its overall feel.
Of course, the whiners are already out in force. Now, there's nothing wrong with not liking an episode, it's when people criticize an episode for stupid reasons that bothers me. In this instance, people complained that the episode was "too simplistic", "filler" and "not enough drama".
I've just noticed that the thumb-up counter on Leech's original story, The Braggart and The Bug, has ticked over to 200! Now, I know some of you will dismiss this as pathetic, and cite the fact your stories can generate 200 likes in 15 minutes, but this is a large milestone for me! I honestly never expected it to be as popular as it's turned out to be, and am both humbled and amazed that 200 of you actually enjoyed the story of an arrogant unicorn and a changeling with more leg-holes
... to say "Oh fuck, now I need a new calendar" generic new year greetings of questionable sincerity to everybody on FimFic. :D
