The Mane-iac isn't a primetime villain, she isn't murderous or calculating and one might wonder why she even became one at all. Many do wonder, even her fellow Fury's sometimes wonder. They whisper when they think she can't hear them and mumble insults when she can. Really if it wasn't for High Heel she wouldn't be in the Plunderers Pub at all.

She is seen as a distraction at best and a mindless idiot at worst. The Villains of Maretropolis don't respect her and the Heroes fight her with careful kiddy gloves. That is how she is seen, as a joke villain that is barely worth the effort.

If she could remember her name she would be offended but sadly she can't. The time before these past two years of violence and villainy are fleeting when they are there at all... and yet there may be some hope for her yet.

The Phone is a constant reminder of her past. She can't unlock it or even remember buying it but a little niggling feeling in her brain swears that its hers. Who knows what secrets it holds if only she could work up the courage to have it unlocked or the memory to unlock it. One of those wishes is about to come true... in the worst way imaginable.

The Equestrian Royal Family always enjoys one Tea Break a day, where all members are in attendance. And today would have been no different if something else hadn't occurred. Luckily its something Celestia and Luna have dealt with before, though the fact that they are both extremely out of practice is something they should have taken into account before starting this venture.

The fact that the other two Princesses have never seen something like this before is perhaps another niggle in their little plan... if they had a plan to begin with.

This started off as a dark comedy, 2000 words of just back and forth insults (before I added any meat to it). What it is now, I'm not exactly sure but lets just say it is firmly in the category of AU. Details of the AU are below the warning.

AU - Two Ancient Nutjobs.

Celestia - A far more vain and self conscious individual. Her mane colour is dependant on the season. Some minor mentioned changes to her wings but nothing massive.

Luna - A thestral alicorn with a slight scottish accent and an even more brusque nature. A head shorter than Celestia. Mane colour dependant on the phases of the moon.

General - Both can confidently measure their ages... In literal age's and their past both together and apart is not exactly all sunshine and rainbows. They are still sisters by blood, though the nation they were born in is naught but ash. Sort of a crack AU in a way.

Katerin is dying a slow and painful death. Amongst the provinces of the Griffonian Empire it is the poorest, most lawless hive of scum and villiany that currently stands. Its economy is in shambles and bandits roam freely across the countryside. These matters are not made any better by the rumors of the plague or the poor health of the Emperor (whom is all that is holding this dying empire together).

A confirmed factor making the province worse is the Mad Princess of the realm who seems hellbent on breaking the already broken province with that damned insufferable skull of hers... wait a minute. Did that skull just talk?

Princess Amore has been murdered by the soon to be King Sombra. He faces off against the elite crystal guard as his wife Radiant Hope watches in horror.

Her mind is racing with where it all went wrong and what she could have done to stop this before another thought worms its way into her mind.

A thought that leads her down memory lane and perhaps... a different path.

Between the veil of dreams and the waking world sits The Seam. A place where once apon a time monsters ruled the land only to disappear.

This was where she was born... The Nightmare and her twin who ruled a land beset by sin. Taken from this place by a harmonic spell split between a mare that darkness dispels and one that one day fell.

Now alone The Night Queen wanders through a world unseen for all she knows it is yet another dream.

This started out as a rhyming intro and ended up as a rhyming sorta story. Honestly I blame Child Of Light (great game by the way).

Luna had been called many things in her long life some good some bad but never had she ever been called "mother" but now it was happening and by a filly who looks disturbingly familiar.
After taking a hit from the elements of harmony the Lunar Goddess is now severely weakened. Slowly recovering but weakened and in everyone elses eyes crazy...Very crazy.
She has her sister and her doctor to keep her sane but they aren't helping as much as she had hoped. With their help at the minimum and what her doctor calls "delusions" creeping up on her mind she has more things to worry about than ever.

Thats excluding the invisible filly that follows her everywhere and is making her question what sanity is.
