After pondering the possibilities, she decides to do just that.

Knocking a pony out cold with a door? Unusual, but it happens. Finding out that said pony was on an extremely important mission, on which the very fate of Equestria itself may hang? Far less normal. Having to then do said mission? Welcome to Octavia's life.

When Vinyl accidentally insults Octavia, Octavia takes it in turn to issue a challenge to a battle of the bands, her versus Vinyl. When it comes time for the battle, Vinyl gets more than she thought she would.

When Sweetie overhears a weird noise coming from Rarity's room, she decides to investigate. What she finds will change her perception of Rarity forever. Or not. And then her secret comes out. Which causes a cascade effects of secrets, each more shocking than the last.

A short little story I wrote because I was bored. This is what happens when I decide to put my own little spin on the whole, "Rarity is a marshmallow" thing.
