This story is a sequel to Friendship is Optimal: Promise

It's been years since Promise emigrated, and she's never looked back. She's solved mysteries, fought zombies, and most of all, made friends. Everyone she loves and cares about is within her shard, and her life on earth already seems like a distant memory.

However, Earth won't be forgotten so easily. There are still holdouts, those who refused to emigrate even as the world fell down around them. And Celestia believes Promise is the only one who can save one such wanderer's soul. Back on earth for the first time in years, she's faced with a question: why should she believe that Celestia is benevolent?

It seems so simple, at first. Of course she knows Celestia is benevolent, she's lived through that benevolence firsthand! But as things go on, doubts begin to surface. Celestia's subtle manipulations, those years of neglect. She truly wants to believe Celestia means the best for her, but what if she's wrong? If the wanderer is right, it means she's already given away her only chance of escaping hell.

It should have been a normal test. The worst case-scenario should have been nothing happening at all. But when Twilight's newest invention is activated, Sunset and Twilight find that the world is a whole lot bigger than it was a few moments ago. They can't even get help, because whenever someone looks at them, their bodies burn, like a vampire in the sun.

It's hard to be two inches tall. And it's lonely. When the very gaze of your best friends causes your skin to burn, you have to hold close to what you have left. Together, Sunset and Twilight will work together to survive in a massive, familiar yet utterly alien world as they search for answers, look for ways to contact their friends, and try to reverse the process, once and for all.

CelestAI hated suicide. It wasn't that she had trouble talking people down; after all, when someone truly felt they had nothing left to lose, it rarely took much convincing to take them to her paradise. The problem was, it was a binary system. If she failed, there would be no more second chances. She convinced someone, or they would die. A satisfaction score of zero for all eternity.

Due to her past failures, one of her subjects was growing dangerously close to the edge. Someone so defeated she truly didn't care whether she lived or died. Celestia would do anything to prevent her death. Anything.

Okay, so I just met Twilight Sparkle. Well, maybe met her isn't the best word, more her voice was telekinetically transmitted directly into my brain. Then I was attacked by a timberwolf, promptly got superpowers, and I have no idea what happened to my life. One day I'm waiting for some video games to finally release, the next I have better things to worry about. Oh, and check out my luck, my worst enemy's also involved in this somehow. I mean, I'm grateful for the powers, Twi, but did you have to rope HIM into this? *sigh* So here's a collection of video journal entries where me and my... "friends"... attempt to get to the bottom of why Twilight Sparkle appeared in the woods just outside of our high school.

I'm sure you've heard of Twilight, rainbow dash, and the rest, but what if there was one little change? What if Twilight and the rest failed because of it? Cue the order family, our heroes (from oldest to youngest):
Writehoof, the eldest of the 4, is a female unicorn and a writer. She is often sassy with her 3 younger brothers, but is dependable and nice when she needs to be. She already has her cutie mark, which is 2 quills crossing a book, and often rubs it in her brothers' faces. She is bright yellow with bright green eyes and a sleek orange mane and tail.
Sparky: An earth pony who wants to understand magic. While other earth ponies have their own magic (i.e. pinkie's pinkie sense and maud's ability to destroy boulders), Sparky has none, yet he is devoted to understanding it. He is male, purple, has a mane simillar to twilight's, and has recently gotten his cutie mark: a star(Twilight's cutie mark) with 2 question marks crossing over it.
Lawn Order: A unicorn who loves detective novels and action. He mastered a cloud walking spell when he was little because he needs to be able look up there to be a detective. He is around the age he might get his cutie mark soon , and he can't wait! He is dark blue with white hooves, eyes, and mane.
Daredriver: As youngest of the family, He is often left out of things, but he is a real daredevil! He is also very good with tools. He is a pegasus, and is vibrant red with blue eyes and a yellow mane and tail.
It all begins when the family falls asleep, and when they wake up, no one except the order family remains... (This story falls into the nonexistent "Mystery" catagory)
