Okay, what the heck?

I've got adblock running on Fimfiction, but the ads are getting through. Not only a relatively unintrusive one at the bottom, but a pop-up video ad. I didn't see what it was for. I reflexively closed the page with keyboard shortcuts when a pop-up came up. That reflex is overwired from the early days of the internet when questionable sites would chainspawn pop-ups until only those with quick reflexes could avoid their browser dying.

Apparently, I at some point ordered a copy of Ponyfinder. Or something.

Between this event transpiring and my receipt of my actual copy of the book, I forgot that I'd ever done it, and in fact forgot that Ponyfinder was a thing that existed. In case anyone reads this and doesn't know, Ponyfinder is a thing that exists.

I had FimFiction whitelisted on my ad-blocker to avoid negating their ad revenue, but two of the ads just started blathering at me simultaneously. That is a hard no. I will not tolerate talking ads on sites. Sound-producing advertisements in general are walking over a pit on paper flooring. Talking ads are right out. They're intrusive, and quick to discover that I've lined the pit with spikes.

No more FimFiction whitelist from me. If that hits someone's ad revenue... good.

I have updated my primary recommendations list. A top spot has been stolen by Horizon's "Thou Goddess", displacing two other very worthy stories with its poetic beauty. There is scarcely a height of acclaim I would not believe it deserves (which is more or less the Primary Recommendations entry requirement).
