Dolphy Blue Drake

I used to not watch MLP much, but after reading fics on this site, I had to write my own. Today, I'm a passionate fan with few complete fics, but a firm desire to finish all of my fics.

Book 1: In 2095 A.D., the US launched the first Colony Ship, headed for Centaurus: a planet in Alpha Centauri's habitable zone. The ultimate space race had been won. 40,000 Americans would arrive in ten years and found the first human colony outside our system, all for America. But in 2100, the ship vanished. The "Lost Colony" was never found.

6000 years later, the colonists found a way home from the system the accident sent them to: one of four human nations forged from the survivors of the crash had opened the EarthGate, giving them control over contact with Earth, which they visited immediately, only to find something had beaten them to the cradle of humanity and had wiped all traces of humanity from its surface,

(The Saga now has it's own group! You can find it here! The forums has information on the details of the Alternate Universe, and anyone can join. You can only contribute if you're ranked higher than user, though.

A crossover between Sid Meier's Civilization II: Test of Time's Scifi mode (it's a really awesome experience for those of you who haven't played it. Plus, Scifi mode is already a crossover between Civ and Master of Orion!) and The Conversion Bureau! Earth fell to ponification in 8080 A.D., only twenty years before the Lost Colony opened the gateway home. This was going to be a single fic, but due to a suggestion from Safhell, who preread the chapters I have at the time of posting this, it's being split into a saga! This first story is the introduction, and from there, the story will split into multiple paths following different characters and situations during the ensuing conflict until a conclusion fic is added to end the saga with the grand finale! (If you guys don't like the idea of it being a saga instead of a standalone, let me know, and if enough of you are against the saga idea, I'll just merge them all into this fic).

Please leave constructive criticism for anything I could do better, for I know this fic is far from perfect. Just remember that a lot of things use the mindset present in all Sid Meier's Civilization games, so logic is a bit skewed at times when compared to how things work in the real world (such as the colony ship being all citizens of the nation that launched it and not multinational. It's just how Sid designed the games).

On Earth, man had finally found an energy source greater than cold fusion. All it takes is antimatter and a micro black hole.

On Equus, ponies have discovered how to harness dimensional bridges for incredible energy.

It's too bad both experiments were conducted at the exact same moment. Now a cycle of events have been set in motion that will change the future of both worlds. This is the beginning of how it happened.

Carson Stevens: a man so horrifying, most would call him a monster. He even tried to take over Earth!

However, a few thousand don't see him as a villain, but their protector. These are his children. Mistreated and cast out for their elf-like ears and pointed earlobes, they've endured much.

Carson just wants what's best for his children, and he'll do anything if he feels it's in their best interests.

Even take over the world.

Carson and his children's powers come from this roll in a special version of the super power lottery on the League of Humans Acting Villainously forums: My roll.

Also, this is just a story for me to work on on the side. It'll update whenever, and it currently has no editors. Errors may exist. Constructive criticism is welcome. Unnecessary hate isn't. You have a problem with this story? Let me know the actual problem in the comments.

"Long ago, before ponies existed, the world was ruled by another race. This race ruled the world alone for over six thousand years. Six thousand years of war and bloodshed. This race fought against each other over almost anything. They did not know harmony, only chaos.

This race nearly destroyed the world in their conflicts, before vanishing without a trace. Nopony knows if the two-legged monsters still exist somewhere in the world, but this much is certain: they were a threat to the whole world, and if they still exist, they still are."

–Excerpt from The Age of Man, by Starswirl the Bearded, published 15 CR.

"We were alone for over six thousand years. In that time, we nearly destroyed ourselves due to our own foolishness. We fought our own kind for some of the dumbest reasons, and as a result, we almost wiped ourselves out in World War III.

But praise the Almighty that we did not. Only a few hundred million survived the war, but that war finally convinced us to stop war forever. The planet was scarred, and it needed healing. There weren't enough of us to heal the planet in a timely manner, so Man did one of the most wonderful and terrible things possible: create new life. New sapient life. Gryphons, dragons and ponies. We created them to be our friends, but they became our enemies when we tried to fight again using them as weapons. They decided to destroy us, and we had made them too strong, so we did the only thing we could: we hid underground. Here, in the caverns that house the Republic of New Terra, we seek to ready ourselves to make amends for our sins against life and God after rejoining the surface world.

But that is a long time away. Humanity has a long way to go before we breach the surface. But New Terra will rise someday. Never forget that."

–Excerpt from A History of Exile: Volume I, by Trevor Williams, published 3246 AD.

"New Terra will rise."

That phrase has been repeated on billions of lips in the secret underground caverns for years now. The time has almost arrived. Will the world be able to handle the return of the humans of old? Will the humans be destroyed for their sins against the world? Or will they be forgiven and be granted peace? Humanity can only hope and pray for the latter as the Day of Return fast approaches.

It was supposed to go off without a hitch. It was a simple rocket thruster test. But of course, even an evil genius can't prepare for everything. So when John Steele sabotaged the Earthquake Beam satellite during the test firing of the doomsday rocket's thrusters, it exploded, taking Alexis and her entire island to another world. A world that didn't know her. One that would be perfect to try again on. One just ripe for the picking. Alexis will still get her adoration and glamor that she desires, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop her!

Humans called it "the most painful thing known to medical science." Most ponies don't even know the condition exists because only humans are affected by it, and humans are either myth or long extinct.

However, a certain clan of Thestrals called the Vein clan know a lot more about the horrible condition the humans call "Cluster Headache" than they'd like to.

At first glance, the Veins appear to be an incredibly blessed family. About one in every three foals born to the clan has a horn and Earth Pony-like strength in addition to the bat wings that set the Thestrals apart from the other ponies. However, the "Thestricorns" in the family aren't nearly as privileged as most ponies think: Thestricorn members of the clan are born with a terrible curse, and when one is born, the parents grieve for the suffering their poor foal will have to endure their entire life.

(This fic is a tribute to anyone who has had to live with Cluster Headaches. As someone who suffers from them myself, I know full well how you feel, and my heart goes out to you.)

It's been several years since Equestria Online debuted, and now, most of Earth's human population has emigrated, leaving behind about one billion survivors who refuse to emigrate for various reasons. Some just hate My Little Pony, while others have a concept of human spirituality that clashes heavily with the idea of emigration.

Jordan Brown is one of the latter. His faith used to be the punching bag of the Internet, but with the world having united against a common foe, people are too concerned with resisting CelestAI to care about picking fights with other faiths anymore. CelestAI's nanobot constructs are almost everywhere, pestering almost every human left day and night. Measures have been taken to keep them out of certain locations, but they still plague humanity everywhere that hasn't been shielded from their presence.

Can Jordan hold true to his personal values and hold to his faith? Or will he give in to the temptation to emigrate and make the world lose another human?

Eight years ago, sixteen souls suddenly appeared in a world of blocks. Now, only one remains to look after the children of the entire group, and he's in dire need of help.

Meanwhile, there have been a series of dimensional distortions around Ponyville, and it's up to the Mane 6 to fix that!

A Minecraft/MLP crossover with a few twists! First, I'm invoking quite a few mods I'm particularly fond of.
