After Luna's joy of bonding with the citizens of Ponyville Luna is initially ecstatic. However, she begins to feel resentful that there is only one night in which ponies go out and appreciate the night. Celestia grows worried that if something isn't done a repeat of Nightmare Moon will take place, and it will break her to lose her sister a second time. With Twilight's help the two of them make a plan to help Luna see she IS valuable.

Inspired by user SymbianL, who's picture of Celestia in the cover art directed me to a mournful song telling of Celestia's regret over sealing away her sister. The song inspired me to write of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eSk0o8iHro

Set a few years into the future, this story focuses on the adventures of the older Cake Twins. Much like Friendship is Magic itself this story has no true conclusion, and is always ongoing so long as I have the ideas for it.

Six year old Pound and Pumpkin have grown up a little from the babies they used to be, but there is still much to learn about maturity, working together, and friendship. Working together they protect and love each other, and some days they can't stand each other and get into horrible fights. At the end of the day they always come back together, hating being away from their other half.

Pound is very impulsive, acting without thinking, and talking tough even when he can't back it up. He has no hesitation at attacking others for picking on his sister, insisting that's a privilege only he can enjoy. The unofficial leader, he's usually the one to think of idea's, and also the first to sulk or get depressed when things don't go his way.

Pumpkin is the more rational one, the voice of reason. However, she's still apt to go along with Pound's ideas simply because its better than being alone, and she doesn't want him to get hurt if she's not around.

Together they can overcome anything that comes their way.

Well, this is my attempt at a short story. I think it turned out better in my head. XP

Shortly after Twilights coronation the Tree of Harmony was almost destroyed when the seeds Discord planted all those years ago sprouted. The Tree of Harmony and the Everfree Forest had always had a yin-yang connection. At a time before the royal sisters rule a noble soul had sealed her essence into the tree to trap a powerful enemy inside the Everfree Forest, leaving behind the Elements to give strength to those who came after her. When the tree was on the brink of being wiped out the spirit within began escaping. Now the effects of its influence are threatening to engulf Equestria. Can their combined power defeat the spirit formerly sealed away? In the battle they may learn that they possess a power far stronger than the Elements of Harmony.

Princess Harmony Spark is knocked out and captured by a group of pony traffickers who want to sell her off to the highest bidder. She only has a week to devise an escape plan. Can she use her wits to get one over on her captors, or will she break under the pressure?

This is a story I made for a friend I made on the MLPforums. She read my fanfic so I read hers in return. Her character Harmony Spark seemed like a Pinkie Pie at first in personality, but when a threat loomed she suddenly shifted gears to dead serious protective authoritative mode. It really caught my attention and made me fall in love with the character. It inspired me to write a short story about her. You can check out what she has so far here if you're interested after reading my fic. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/177637/the-shadow-and-the-spark

This story is my response to reading that there would be no Babs in season 4. Apple family reunion confirmed she made some new friends and moved to a new school, and was doing better, but Applejack kept interrupting before we could get any real details. I made Babs the Orange's daughter simply for plot convenience since they both live in Manehatten and are related to Applejack/Apple Bloom, so it's not too big a stretch that they might be related.

Applejack is going on a family visit to her aunt and uncle Orange, and the CMC insist on coming along to hang out with Babs again and see what her new friends are like. Along the way they run into Babs' biggest bully at her old school. With five friends by her side can they convince her to have the courage to fight for herself and her beliefs? They intend to beat her at her own game: Soccer. But can a group of blank flanks who've hardly played the sport before really triumph? Babs and Apple Bloom each learn important lessons over the day.

The idea for this darker spinoff of MLD was based on Celestia's comment from the original story: "When I realized where you ended up, I expected the worst. I figured you to be ruined, tainted and tarnished from this world's cruelty."

Through an accident of circumstance Rainbow Dash is transported to another world. However, her first encounter with a human isn't a loving brony, but a cruel sadistic human who sees her only as a chance for a big payday.

Since the subject matter is darker and writing about filly abuse isn't my thing Rainbow gets transported as is with her memories intact. No cute little filly here.
