The time has finally come for A. K. Yearling to sit down and immortalise the latest in Daring Do’s long line of adventures. However, like any other story, she couldn't possibly publish them as is.

Sometimes they just need a few, minor... adjustments.

Originally written in the week after Strange than Fanfiction aired, and forgotten for unknown reasons/too afraid to post it.

You know what's the coolest thing about being a pegasus? You get to live in a cloud house.

And not just any cloud house, no. If you're as awesome a mare as Rainbow Dash, you get to stay in The Cloudhouse, with all of the luxuries and the possibility to put it anywhere you want.

Of course, when Rainbow Dash was offered the deal of a lifetime, a prized location in the airs above the Everfree, she knew she had to snatch it up immediately.

The only things it, she didn't expect her first night to be quite so... eventful.

This story is a sequel to Twilight makes tea.

After a furious night of near consistent fanfiction writing, Twilight returns to her bedroom to finish what she started, whatever it is.

Celestia. Princess, leader, some might say even a god.

But not many know what goes on in the princess' mind. What she could be thinking, that fateful day.

The day she was defeated at Cadance's wedding.

Exactly what the title says.

Faced with all options exhausted, and no other way to get rid of her writer's block, Twilight Sparkle settles in one night to do the one thing she promised herself she'd never, ever let happen.

Done as a little exercise (with some rather meagre results, mind you) to help me get through some writers block on another story. Everything here is exactly as it first came out; edits restricted to fixing typos and grammar. Any mistakes Twilight makes, however, are completely genuine and left in for ‘authenticity.’

One day Twilight Sparkle wakes up to find she has wings. No big deal. She’s had them for months, maybe even a year now. A pair of wings and the accompanying feathery mishaps had come to be an expected facet of the Princess’ early morning routine.

But that’s the problem. She expected to have a ‘pair’ of wings. Anything but that is just... unnatural.

There's a haunting ahoof in Ponyville and, with no explaining how or why, ponies are left driven from their homes to seek refuge with the local Princess.

Everypony agrees that there is only one team who knows exactly what to do.

Three years, three years I’ve been in hiding. I can’t say that much has changed, really.

I’ve got a job now, and a modest apartment, that’s good, better than when I first arrived in Manehattan at least. I work as a local private-eye going around finding pony’s lost dogs, and foals, that sort of stuff.

There is also this lovely diner on the corner of Mane where I can stop to eat every once in a while. The staff there have always been kind to me; especially Penelope, the waitress. She’s the first pony I met after arriving here with no money and on the run from Ponyville.

My name is, or rather was, Pinkie Pie. I used to be the party mare of Ponyville— before I got replaced.

Based on a role-reversal of an already overdone concept based on a particular scene from a particular episode with two particularly pink ponies.
