While on a field trip at an Equestrian military landmark, Twilight comes across some strange substance scattered amongst the tower debris, and goes to tell the Princess about it. There she is told by Celestia that the substance has to do with a war that has been covered up by the rulers of Equestria so nopony would know of such a dark past. Twilight desperately wants to know, so Celestia gives her all the records needed to learn about the "War of the Equestrian First Reign"...

Sweetie Belle is feeling distraught over not having a pet of her own. But one day, she finds a porcupine in the woods, and he becomes her new pet. The two become great friends, enjoying every second they are together. However, things are not as perfect as they seem for the two, and Sweetie belle will learn a harsh reality of what comes when owning a pet.

One day, as the Mane 6 and Spike are having a nice day out, a strange cloud appears to them from beyond the horizon. This cloud starts to cause immense chaos with its magical lightning bolts, with the chaos looking similar to the kind Discord had created before. After defeating the cloud, Twilight starts to act strangely, and the next day, Twilight's body parts start to change into different animal parts! Not knowing what to do, Twilight and her friends race to talk with Princess Celestia about this, with Twilight changing more and more with the more chaos she causes...

Behold the continuing adventures of Daring-Do! Daring learns from her friend of a goblet that is owned by a griffon, whom is the self-proclaimed "king" of where he lives. His goblet is a very beautiful artifact, and dates back to the time of the griffon's ancestor, whom was the original owner of the goblet. Now daring-Do has to get to the griffon's mountain and obtain the goblet, but she'd better be careful, because this griffon isn't prepared to let his most prized possession get taken.

When walking through the woods, the Mane Six come upon a unicorn stallion named Creo. He is stressed out from not being able to come up with a title for the story he's writing, so the girls all decide to ease his stress. One by one, they each do their own thing for helping him calm down, which they do, but Creo inadvertently treats them in ways that make them fall in love with him. And when the girls find out each one of them love him, they may not be willing to share...

One day, while the Cutie Mark Crusaders are trying to think of how to gain their cutie marks, Sweetie Belle gains the power to use magic from thinking so hard. The girls then think they can get their cutie marks for magic, so they all work to teach Sweetie Belle so she'll become better at magic. Unfortunately, all the other ponies don't think they are capable of using magic very well, after seeing them fail at so many attempts to get their cutie marks. The girls then decide that Sweetie has to do a very powerful spell that will impress everypony, but the spell they choose might be too big for them to handle...

On a night over 1,000 years ago, Luna sat in her room so sad and hurt from nopony ever respecting her or her night by sleeping right through it. Then, she is approached by a strange being, one who says that she is the one who should rightfully rule over Equestria. Luna's resentment grew stronger than ever, and she went off to confront Celestia, not knowing what chaos she was about to bring upon Equestria...
