This story is a sequel to Little Ray of Sunshine

Dew comes for a visit to Equestria and meets another pony from her mother's rather vague past.

Having been hit by the rainbow caused by Twilight and the girls; Sunset finds herself cursed and abandoned in the human world. Not wanting to deal with both the inevitable retaliation of the students and the curse, Sunset makes the decision to transfer. Now she has to deal with the rest of her school life in a new environment until the portal opens once more. All the while dealing with problems the curse has created for her along with unwanted memories of her past.

After another long day court and Celestia is ready to just let Luna take over for the night. It's not until she receives a surprise visit from her former protege with some pony she never thought she'd ever see bearing a message she'd never thought would be true.

Pinkie finds herself with feelings she thought long since buried one day after yet another rejection from Sunset. She finds an outlet in her shy friend during their daily call.

Everglow has waited for a long time to return something to the pony she admired since she was a filly. When her friend happens to spot a pony she'd been searching for she finally gets a chance. If only she could stop being so nervous about talking to her.

Spike is dead and Twilight blames herself. After months of depression and nightmares, she and Starlight set out to find out why he had to die only to come across the impossible.

Scootaloo begins her new life as a night school teacher. She helps those seeking to finish their education. But, they aren't the only ones she seeks to help as she begins her night strolls through the city.

Anything and everything Spike does is for Twilight. In order for her to be happy and smiling, he's willing to sacrifice anything.

Day Court is over and Luna's Night Court is about to begin, or, at least it would have until Celestia had her say. It's just another lazy night in Canterlot Castle as the two sisters enjoy some time off the usual way.

Sunset returns to Equestria for the first time in a long time to visit Twilight in her castle. She comes semi-unannounced in order to surprise the Princess of Friendship only to encounter a unicorn she's never met before in her life.
