It's a microscopic one-shot! This was written for StarmanTheta's weekly writing prompt, this week's prompt being "never enough pie."

Scootaloo has always idolized Rainbow Dash. When Dash agreed to teach her, she was positively thrilled. Unfortunately, accidents happen. Rainbow Dash isn't good at dealing with the consequences of her actions.
Energy out is equal to or less than energy in. The universe obeys simple and unbending laws. Magic is not an exception. Where does it come from? How are ponies able to utilize it while so many other creatures aren't? What are Celestia and Luna?
Where DO foals come from? The Cutie Mark Crusaders don't know, but they intend to find out!
The sun and moon grant day and night without the guiding hooves of the gods. Ponies do not receive cutie marks. Equestria is ruled by a democratic goverment - by the ponies, for the ponies. Everything is going so well until one pony who refuses to let go of the past puts the future in danger.
You may notice the status here was switched to 'cancelled.' Don't be alarmed. I'm just going to start over. Same basic concept, same OCs. It's one short chapter, and it's been months, so I feel like trying to 'pick back up where I left off' wouldn't go very well.
The restart of this is my next project. It'll be a bit before you see it, but I have many plans.
Rainbow Dash seems to be losing her mind, forgetting entire encounters and continually saying things that don't make any sense. Scootaloo gets to see Dash twice as much as she'd ever expected. Twilight Sparkle slips into full on-hermit mode. Applejack just wants answers... and to be with Rainbow Dash.
