Good thing he doesn't have a temper. RD is good and all at fighting but there is a line between bravery and stupidity and going up against a big daddy in his prime is the latter.

She just bolted because when stressed he winds up with a half-tone of the whalesong you hear the Big Daddies use in the game.

He does have a temper its just he is more driven by things such as what does harming a citizen get you, how do I make a good impression, and since he wasnt that bad of a guy before the Fall of Rapture he inherits those traits. Rainbow does eventually find out how big of a bullet she dodges later on. but that is a story for a later date.
