We only use a character named Anon and then fill him with whatever we feel we want his character to be. If you've read my story, Aether's, or even Nether's stuff in our group, you'll see each Anon is completely different from the other. Same with Hooves Anon here. He's a blank template for us to write a character, a human one, however we want it.

If you've been on 4chan, you'll see everyone is "Anonymous" when they post. This became an identity to 4chan posters so no one would know who the poster is. When telling stories through the >Greentext format, people would refer to themselves as Anonymous.
2310470 Trust me all human characters are blank slates in this world until the author decides otherwise. That said you can give your character a name and it would still have the same feeling as Anon in this sense until Anon is given a backstory that says otherwise.
