Three months after the disaster started, the Elements of Harmony have been given one last mission to carry out. Their destination? A land an ocean away from Equestria, one populated by creatures called "humans". But a plan as massive as this one is bound to run into problems, and the group soon runs into a very big problem. Stuck in a foreign country and cut off from the princesses, Twilight and her friends will have to use everything they can to succeed in their mission.
As they try to complete their task, glimpses into the past reveal how the world’s situation came to be – and what exactly the group’s mission is.

I am too a bit confused. You speak of Ponyville as "ground zero" which made me think of nuclear weapons, but then when the filly came into the picture I expected some sort of plague or disastrous disease.

Progress has hit a...roadblock. I've found that my planning was less than thorough when I began writing this.
More chapters will come eventually - I'm not one for leaving things unfinished - but there will likely be more of a hiatus as I continue sorting everything out.

Reading this has reminded me that I need to update my 'how to isolate myself to survive the apocalypse' plans, as I'm no longer a 30 mile drive from U.S.S. Texas' home port. My plan was to get her up and running, what with having the documents and procedures on how to do so from the Library of Congress, then sail her out into the gulf - but, since I'm half a country away from that now, time to figure out a new plan......
