Hmmph. Wish I could give some constructive criticism. I wanna say moar than "Oh, it's great so far," but alas, I cannot.
No time to read right now, so Tracking. Yes, tracking. I know they dumped the Tracking list into the Favorites list, then gave us a Read Later list after a few months, but I am NOT going to dig through 10801 fics just to separate everything again. Therefor I just click the Gold Star to keep track of any stories I read.
...and, yes, the basic premise has my curiosity. Lets see if it can grab my attention. (Note to self, watch Django Unchained.)

Well, it's more interesting than the usual you-killed-us-now-Twilight-is-queen plot. There aren't a lot of writers who try the convert-all-the-Mane-Six route.
Come to think of it, I don't think anyone's done a fic where Cadance and Shiny are the ones who get 'recruited'. I can understand the Twilight ones, because people love to see weird things happen to magicians, but I can't think of a single well-written story where the changelings go after the two ponies who actually physically pushed them out of Canterlot.

I wonder if the changelings expect the girls to come back with them to rule, or if the swarm will come to them. Either way, it's not gonna be pretty. And what if they can't decide on a single candidate, and the Hive says 'screw it, just make them all queens'?

Ah, yes. Twilight freaking out. I'm assuming the Changelings that are blatantly analogues to the Mane 6 will be integral in the end result of whoever becomes Queen in the end, and the other ones will try to undermine this.
Big plus on my book with Twilight immediately heading to Celestia. So many stories make excuses or just ignore this part of her personality. Only real complaint is the chapter is on the shorter side, without more development.
They must be like the changeling elements of harmony.. Only since the changelings don't have a word for harmony (the closest is 'not annoyed with everyone else' and is unpronounceable in Equestrian without half-an-hour worth of buzzing sounds and a fairly art-noveau interpretive dance) they're just, y'know, these guys.

Seeing the changelings' reactions to Celestia, and vice vera, should be fascinating.

Well, this appears to be deeply dormant if not dead, which is a shame. I honestly don't know how much I like it, due to how little I have to base an opinion on, but I certainly have enough to be sad I don't have more of a chance to find out.
For one thing, while Twilight's caps-lock adventure is a bit over the top, it was fun to read, and i particularly liked the fact that she still managed to dictate the letter normally (hiding the crazy eyes from Celestia).
